I have been debating about going under the knife or going for threadlift. After months of research, i decided to bite the bullet and went for my first threadlift procedure with Dr Bonnie Gong of Natural Rejuvenation MedSpa. Had a friend that was raving about this clinic. The clinic and the staff was professional and very warm, Dr Bonnie kept me engaged until i loosened up and eventually relaxed throughout the treatment. They first numbed me up using medical numbing 23/7 on my face and tummy, then placed plastic wrap all over it. After 30 minutes, i was numb and they used cryotherapy, freezing device to furthur numb me before poking me with needle and thread. Honestly, i expected worse but it wasn't really that painful. Their numbing , cryotherapy and bedside manners really helped me embrace the whole thing. After 2 hours, my face and tummy were done. Geez, i was so amazed at the jowl lift and tummy lift i got! it restored the v shape to my face and lifted the pooch i got and i will surely be back after 6 weeks for my tuneup. They scheduled me for two rfmicroneedling 4 weeks apart which will further enhance the results.
I had a threadlift with Dr. Bonnie and the results are amazing. Right away I saw improvement. She's very adept at the threadlift -- so after being numbed, she completes the procedure quickly and you go home looking younger. There is very little bruising, if any at all. I'm not kidding. I've had the threadlift twice and each time the improvement is noticeable right away. Using the threadlift with the microneedling that the MedSpa provides is an incredible protocol. I recommend that you do both for optimum, fast results.
I had a thread lift procedure with Dr. Gong on Aug 2017. It has been 4 months & I'm noticing substantial improvement in the appearance of my whole face, especially my lower face has lifted &tightened quite a bit. Hi I am sorry to hear of your acne scars. Unfortunately, microdermabrasion is not the best way to go. You would need rfmicroneedling to break down scar tissue/old collagen and bring new collagen to the surface. A very effective add on for this which enhances results is the use of Platelet Rich Plasma, which is plasma from your blood used as a serum for rfmicroneedling and infused on beauty points and acne scars which then activates the repair process
Thread lift can fill in the nasal labial folds well. Using more than 1 thread on each side will make it more shallow but is not likely to eliminate it completely. A "tune-up" in the area 6-8 weeks later will help it even further. The effects can last 18-24 months.
