First most medical group like to avoid the term medical rejuvenation as this seems to be getting ambiguous so my suggestion will be to see a physician who can take a good history, examine you and listen to what your expectations are and then decide which of these two lasers will give you a satisfying result and expectation.&nbsp;

I would like to know which laser treatment is better for vaginal rejuvenation after menopause: Mona Lisa or Juliette laser?

Thanks for your question. Typically burning should not be ongoing for this long after treatment. First thing is that you are doing the right thing using aquaphor only. I also hope you did avoid baths, hot tubs, swimming pools and sexual intercourse as these can cause inflammation or infection if done within the first week of treatment. If you have been avoiding all these listed activities and still has burning, I will encourage seeing your physician to get an exam done.&nbsp;

I have been applying only aquaphor cream after the procedure. I have been suffering from vaginal atrophy for the last 6 years.

Yes hormone use after MonaLisa treatment will surely space out treatment, both estrogen and vagina DHEA can be use after Mona Lisa treatment. However , if you did MonaLisa to get away from the hormonal treatment in the first place, then getting maintenance MLT as needed will be the best line of care for you. Ideally no vagina hormone therapy should be needed after MLT, but in a few patients with very severe cases of GUS of menopause, it is okay to continue the vagina HT until the vaginal health index id excellent at 5.&nbsp;

Results if favourable, do not last forever which means this could be every year, or every 6 months, no guarantee. Would continued estrogen or such after MLT space out longer treatments then? Would estrogen, DHEA or such still be needed after MLT

Yes MonaLisa will work well. You are a perfect candidate for this novel treatment. It is non hormonal. Will help new blood vessels, collagen and elastin growth in the vagina which will increase natural secretion and lubrication. This should&nbsp;also improve sexual satisfaction and orgasm, however note that the treatment is not marketed for this indication. MonaLisa has no safety concerns for &nbsp;causing cancer.

I had complete hysterectomy including cervix. Will the Mona Lisa work and more important be safe with missing cervix? Is there possibility the laser could increase cancer risks? I currently use aloevera for lubrication, safe, non hormonal, works but tedious. Also the strength of orgasm is gone, possibly to loss of uterine contractions or cut nerves but not sure. Very sad about this. Any idea if Mona Lisa might help this?

In the hands of a well trained physician, MonaLisa touch used in external treatment should not cause less clitoral sensitivity. I have actually had quite a few of my patients reporting increased sensitivity and better orgasm after their treatment with MonaLisa Touch. In my&nbsp;training also, I was advised not to laser the top of the clitoris, because, theoretically speaking, if the physician treats aggressively, this may cause scarring which could reduce nerve ending sensitivity. Emsella is very good for tightening of pelvic floor, it gives&nbsp;electromagnetic energy, which is focus, in depth reaching and&nbsp;stimulating contraction&nbsp;of the entire pelvic floor. I re educates the pelvic floor. Restores pelvic floor muscle strength. Since the PT &nbsp;gave you this diagnosis few years ago, I think it will be a good idea for you to get re assessed again as Emsella may be a treatment for you.

I had been to a pelvic floor PT a few years ago and I recall she said I had tight pelvic floor muscles and not to do kegels but first work on relaxing the muscles. I moved and stopped treatment after a few sessions with her. I have had some urinary incontinence and was wondering if it would be ok to try the Emsella chair. Thanks for your question and so sad that you could not get your treatment done on that day. Hopefully you've been able to get your vaginal laser treatment done now. Neither a copper IUD or progesterone IUS is a contraindication to MonaLisa touch treatment. The CO2 laser is very safe. I have treated patients with IUS in place before and no complications at all. I have the paragaurd iud in and when I went to go get vag rejuvination the doctor told me that in the guidelines of Mona Lisa vag rejuvination said that its not safe to use the Mona Lisa rejuvination if you have the copper iud in. Why is that? If I get it done will I be ok?

Why isn't it safe to get MonaLisa Touch while I have a Paragard copper IUD in? Will I be okay if I still had the procedure?

A session of Emsella takes 28 minutes on the chair, and the advantage is that the patient is fully dressed for this treatment. 6 sessions at about 2 sessions per week is recommended. It feels like very strong contractions starting from the perineum up to your lower abdomen, it is not painful. Patients' first comment is always it feels different. We start you at a lower % and slowly increase it as you get use to the feeling of the contractions till we get to 100%. Most patients are able to tolerate 100% treatment within 5 minutes of the first treatment session and subsequent sessions are straight to 100% from the first minute.&nbsp;

Can I combine Emsella with vaginal rejuvenation procedures?

Emsella is an electromagnetic device so the energy source is safe, however the contractions may be too strong causing a disruption in the pregnancy. If you did not have any bleeding after the procedure, then the pregnancy is safe but no more treatments till after delivery. About 2 months after delivery depending on how quickly you recover. All&nbsp;the best.

I just found out I am 2-3 weeks pregnant and had one emsella treatment the other day. Will this effect the fetus?
