my experience at Shaw plastic surgery has been second to none! I’ve never been treated so kindly, respectfully and doted on when walking into an office! I feel the staff is super friendly and warm to everyone that walks in! The work they do is phenomenal! I’ve had treatments at other spas and nothing compares to the atmosphere, staff and quality of work than Shah plastic surgery!
My experience with Shah Plastic Surgery was amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Shah does amazing work and I am very happy with my results. I will definitely be referring him to my friends.
Dr Shah and staff are unequaled in their level compassion, respect and professional skill. From the initial phone call with Richard through my entire surgical treatment, Dr Shah and staff were tremendous
Dr shah is very straight to the point with you. He tells you what he can do and what’s realistic. I went from a short and flat nose to a longer and more projected look. I’m so happy I chose him! Staff was super welcoming and nice as well!
Finally booked my first two consolations! Funny enough they both are named Dr. Shaw and Dr. Shah. One is a younger surgeon and the other has a lot of experience and a bunch of awards, both highly recommended so we shall see! The I'm seeing Dr. Shaw the younger Dr. On the 20th and the other Dr. Shah's physicians assistant on the 24th. I never had giant noobs, but they were always really perky and pretty until I had my daughter. Now I've got a major lack of top end fullness and I'm ready to take the leap. I've done some research and am pretty sure I'll get silicone unders, size probably around 450 to 500 cc, but we will see once I try on some sizes! I want whatever will look the best! Cant wait!! Updated on 25 May 2018: T- Minus 12 days!!!! I'll start with my consults! I consulted with the two Dr. Shaws in town. I definitely wanted a surgeon working out of a major hospitals surgery center since I'm on prescription Narcotics and want a big legit hospital doing my anesthesia. I consulted with Dr. Shaw, a cosmetic surgeon at Cox Hospital here in Springfield. He has a super impressive schooling history, but not near as much experience or feedback as the other Dr. Shah from Mercy Hospital, Cox's competitor. The first younger Dr. Shaw from Cox was younger, went to Stanford, and seemed very competent. His staff was amazing, and I was semi confident even after I went to my other consults, that I would go with him. That was until I consulted with Dr. Shah's Mercy Clinic staff. They were amazing, and I immediately knew that all the talk i had heard about Dr. Shah was for good reason. He has won top cosmetic surgeon in 417 Magazine 4 years in a row, is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Fellow, American College of Surgeons (FACS). He's also the most reviewed surgeon on realself in the area, and has a page on the mentor breast implant site...not to mention 27 years of experience and the fact that he like specializes in boobs. I was sold. After the consult I met with woman responsible for scheduling and I told myself that if they had an opening for the like week I had set aside for surgery, that it was meant to be. Well....it was meant to be. Updated on 30 May 2018: When I originally began considering a BA, I wanted saline since I know 3 other girls personally, 2 I've worked with who had saline implants. I had always heard they were not as squishy as silicone, but if I was getting round hp implants, I obviously wasn't looking to fool anyone. As I searched reviews, however I couldn't find ANY reviews on Saline. I started thinking, may as well go with the flow and do it. Its what all the doctors were pushing so may as well, right? Anyway after setting my date , I had 3 weeks to pay the full amount- that date being 3 weeks prior to the surgery date. The pay day came, and I counted out my cash. I had enough for silicone because that's what I had been planning on, but I really hated seeing my savings depleted so much, especially knowing my friends had beautiful boobs that still felt pretty good...but hey. I design and model bikinis. I'll be able to grow my brand. Investment, right? Then I happened on a video of one of my favorite IG model/ bikini [RS bleep] model Laci Kay Somers. Saline. The main issue I've been told is the rippling that can show through Saline implants... frankly I was told I had plenty of breast tissue to go over or under the muscle. I had already decided on unders... so I know darn well under my big thick pole dancer pecs, and my already decent amount of breast tissue, rippling wouldn't be an issue. Janice Dickenson had to get her silicone implants replaced because of rippling, so that could be an issue no matter how you look at it. And Capsular Contracture? I've never been allergic to anything in my life, I've never developed strange scars or protein/ collagen build up, and I've never had an immune reaction, or a reaction to anything In my life i.e. to jewelry, products, etc. I dont see my body suddenly after 30 years of never having a reaction to anything in my life, having a sudden aggressive one would be a bit odd...although cc can happen on silicone as well. Also, the idea of not knowing I had a potential leak for years scared me. Saline felt good. That day I went in with the money I had saved, and left with $1500 bonus money in my pocket. The next day I started researching to assure myself that I made the right decision. That's when I found the absolutely HUGE community of individuals launching a campaign to pull the FDAs approval of silicone implants. The idea of it being a cohesive gel is a bit iffy. Jello is a cohesive gel too. If you cut a piece of jello in half and lay it on the counter, it will stay in two perfect halves... but if you put that jello under hard working muscles, heat, bodily fluids, and constant pressure and movement, that cohesive gel ends up being smushed, breaking up, and being distributed within tissues. Theres pictures of lymph nodes that have been removed swollen 5 times their size full of silicone gel from slow leaks from ruptures, and lymph nodes that have blown up from gel bleeds that happen without rupture. Even without a break in the shell, gel bleed is fairly common. Even the botched doctors featured an implant that when removed was completely sticky like it was covered in honey...but without rupture. Due to strange gel bleeding. Women have nearly died, and been desperately I'll for years from the mass amount of foreign chemicals being bled from their silicone implants. I knew then that I had made the right decision. The saline shell itself is also plastic, so also Carries risk, but I would much rather have saline solution seeping into my body. It's all personal preference, and there are tens of thousands of happy women who are perfectly healthy with silicone...but for me, I'm glad I changed my mind at the very last moment. It felt very good. Surgery is just 6 days away! Updated on 30 May 2018: By breasts were never 'large' but pre baby/ breast feeding, they were very round, full, and perky. After breast feeding they lost all upper pole fullness, and dropped considerably. I would have never seriously considered BA before baby. Now that they've lost a ton of volume and shape, I am feeling a bit self conscious that I've got all this natural booty in the back and am not matched at all matched at all in front. Am hoping a BA will help me achieve some balance to my body shape, and help propel my career as a bikini designer/ brand ambassador. Updated on 30 May 2018: Banana boob syndrome Updated on 31 May 2018: 5 says out! Heres some before pics, they didn't post. The pics demonstrate the lack of upper breast volume from breast feeding. Also included picture of the giant butt that I'm hope a BA will help me to balance out, make me not so back heavy. I've always had a big butt. In high school having a butt wasnt cool like it is nowadays so I spend most of my time trying to cover it up. Some dresses made it look unbelievably fake. Now that I'm older, and after reading all of the butt implant horror stories I realize I am genetically gifted with my small boobs and a butt since boobs are so much easier to augment. Lol Just gathered some pics to demonstrate why I made the decision to go Saline over silicone. Will post next. Updated on 31 May 2018: I posted previously, that I originally considered getting saline because that's what all my friends had. A couple of them were GORGEOUS, and felt excellent, and another friends saline implants were about 25 years old a d still going strong. Anyway, I couldn't find any realself videos demonstrating the saline softness, and as I had felt friends boobs, had never given them the full squish test. Awkward. Anyway , that's when I realized like everyone was getting Silicone. Then I started going to consults and silicone was pushed. It was like saline wasnt even an option...so I decided to go with the flow and decided on silicone when i booked. I had 3 weeks to pay, then 3 more weeks from payday to surgery day. Payday came, i laid out my massive pile of cash into bundles of $1,000's and I thought I would be excited...but something was off. I've never really been someone who makes decisions based on what everyone tells me to do, but I had. And I hadnt researched. So last minute I started looking for videos. One of my favorite IG models laci lay somers did a video all about her boobs...and for the first time I saw a Saline boob getting squished. And it looked great. It bounced, it squished, and since she did under muscle and had already had a decent amount of breast tissue, they were soft. She also said that they were safer. That didn't really factor into my decision much since I was told the gel in silicone implants was completely cohesive and went nowhere...although I was skeptical I still believed that...but the idea of a salt water leak still appealed to me more than a chemical plastic gel leak. More on that later. The main saline downfalls were bag rippling And capsular contracture or cc Issue 1. Rippling Well I saw an episode of botched where janice dickenson had silicone implants that were rippling so it really can happen anyway. When I did my consults I was told by everyone that I had plenty of tissue and could do above or below the muscle. I still chose under the muscle because i like a natural slope. Going under my massive pole dancer pecs, plus being hidden by a thick layer of breast tissue- the rippling issue wasnt an issue. Issue 2: implant hardness/softness How they feel. I am getting big implants. I'm not looking to fool anyone. The idea of Saline being a bit harder than silicone didbt really bother me...after watching laci lat somers squishing her saline implants I realized they were still squishy. May not be gel squishy, but they still squish and bounce. I'm assuming they may be harder on someone with big implants being stuffed into unstretches right skin, but I've breastfed so my boobs are good and stretched out after having already gone from a small c to a big d, then to a b cup. Issue 3 Capsular Constracture I've never had any form of reaction, immunological or otherwise (like skin reaction to jewelry or something). Not allergic to anything and never have been. Barely even swell when bitten by a bee, plus I dont scar. I'm not predisposed to strange over scarring, creating keloids, or not processing proteins correctly and having collagen lumps anywhere. It's not impossible, but improbably after 30 years of absolutely perfect immunological/ protein synthesis/ non reaction to foreign materials that my body would suddenly have an overly aggressive reaction to something. CC can happen in Silicone too it's not just saline and saline alone. Cc isn't a deciding issue to me. Issue 3 money... I already had the money for Silicone, so deciding Saline the day I would have paid woukd leave me with an extra $1500 in my pocket and a decent back up savings to help me through my month of no work. I already had backup money of course, but I double that is even better. (Bonus botox money maybe) Issue 4- longevity Having to replace the saline implants in 15 years vs 30 with Silicone. The doctor said the silicone implant would last...probably although I'll need to go in for regular MRIs every 5 to 10 years to check for leaks....especially If I had been feeling really drained and inexplicably yucky for a while. Then 30 year mark will come and I'll need to replace them due to gravity taking its toll on surrounding tissues. Saline chances of rupture are doubled after 10 years so they'll need changing at 15. So they'll both need an update eventually, although if it comes down to it Saline can last quite a while as well. I cant even remember my life 15 years ago. 15 years from now is literally half a lifetime away. Having to change them out in 15 years vs 30 didn't bother me at all. In fact I figured once I hit 40 or 50 i would probably want to downsize and have a more moderate profile implant anyway. Financially, our combined family doesnt really struggle now and everything is looking up. My bikini custom clothing business has waned because of surgery and were moving...but after recovery I'm going full force. If I'm not financially capable of ponying up 4 grand at age 45, I wont deserve new boobs lol. And then issue 5 possible health issues...I'll get to next since I didn't know about them until after I switched at the last minute and ordered Saline. So that day I went and paid. The lady tried to talk me out of it, but the decision to switch from silicone to saline felt good. When i had everything together and was about to leave to go pay at the office, I felt dread. That was something I wasn't expecting. I was expecting excitement. The idea of switching felt impossible. Like something I shouldn't have even been considering. After I took a couple hours to watch videos and really look into my pros and cons and look inside myself and make the switch I really felt damn good. Walking out of that office having new boobs paid for plus an extra 1500 in my pocket felt even better. I was elated. ELATED The next day I still felt great, but wanted tangible confirmation that I had, in fact, made the right decision. Making my decision based on what I felt in my heart and soul to be right vs doing what I was told by everyone to do felt like confirmation enough, but I wanted a bit more. That's when I found the HUGE community of men and women gunning for the FDA's revoking the approval they had given to silicone implants. The cohesive gel was a big selling point. Originally the idea of a slow liquid gel leak freaked me out, but everyone told me it was solid. I found out that It isn't. Jello is a cohesive gel too. If you cut it in half and place it on the counter, it will stay in two halves. Inside your body however, the gel is under extreme duress. Being constantly smushed and constantly moved. Being under a muscle ensuring a beating in an environment full of liquids and bodily fluids, the silicone gel does what jello would do under the same conditions. It all depends on the case. Some cases it turns semi liquidy and spreads. Other cases it breaks up but keeps together. Other cases it dissentigrates. The chemical list the gel contains is frightening. What's worse than the non cohesive gel spread during a big rupture, is a small rupture that leaks the gel and chemicals slowly over time. I know everyone is told that the capsule will protect you from anything, but so does your skin. We all know of course, that all bodily tissues are absorptive. The skin may be protective, it still absorbs anything it comes in contact with. That's why kids have become sick from being in contact with nicotine liquid, or why receipt carbon papers are so dangerous- fingertips absorbing chemicals in more seconds of contact. A capsule does the same thing. It may possibly keep gel chunks in place, the gel chemicals will still be slowly absorbed. There are pictures of lymph nodes that have been removed since they have blown up to an incredible size, swollen with silicone plastics. Unfortunately it isnt even ruptures that cause issues. Silicone implants have been known for gel bleed. A slow bleed of plastic through the shell without rupture. There are women who have suffered for years in torture while their own bodies attacked themselves, not knowing why since the MRI showed no rupture, the idea of a gel bleed never occured. The doctors of 'Botched' featured a gel leak implant that, when removed, was fully intact but covered in a thick sticky honey like substance from a strange gel bleed from nowhere. Maybe it's a slight shell defect combined with individual body chemistry, but occasionally osmosis takes place and slow leaks a huge list of dangerous chemicals until they're found out and removed. Sometimes Gel bleeds aren't diagnosed until the lymph nodes swell to an outrageous size, or the woman suffers long enough from mysterious undiagnosable health issues to remove them out of desperation. Of course, there are tens of thousands of women with Silicone Implants who have beautiful real feeling perfect breasts who are perfectly happy and healthy. Its all based on personal preference, and weighing the pros and cons. For me, however, Saline felt right. I researched the possible health issues after I had already made the decision to switch, so the information I found just reinforced my knowing that I made the right decision. Saline is encased in a plastic shell that also contains chemicals, and isnt without risk...so like I said it is all personal preference. Weigh the pros and cons and go with what feels right in your gut. 5 more days and it's time! Attached some pics that helped me know I made the right decision for me! @breastimplantillnessglobal is the ig that provided the screenshots. Updated on 5 Jun 2018: HOLY CRAP. Am in the hospital room now. Just got my vitals taken and the nurse just took my cup of pee for a pregnancy test. Lord knows theres nothing to worry about there. My surgery is scheduled for 10:30 am. Its 9:53. Little over 30 minutes and I'm excited, but it still hasn't really hit me yet for some reason. I still feel like something is going to happen or things wont work out. It just doesnt feel real I guess is what I'm saying. Oooooof. I'll see you on the other side! Updated on 10 Jun 2018: I cant believe I'm almost 5 days out already!!! I was feeling great the day of. On day 2 post My bf rented a car and drove down from DC to take us to our apt up there to take care of me. I ended up driving the last 5 hour stretch and felt just fine. The girls are starting to get a little squish to them, I'll post some newer pics later today. I didn't have any negative reactions or complications. The only thing was when they woke me up from anesthesia i was SO COLD I was full body shivering HARD. I'm cold blooded, and like always wear a sweatshirt.... so after lying out practically naked in a cold air conditioned O.R. my body was like NOPE. They have me a heated blanket and a warm air hose thingy and ten minutes I was back to normal. I've heard people say the worst pain doesnt come until the next day because the anesthesia is still helping. My worst pain was immediately after waking up. I'm sure the spasmy shivers didn't help anything. Anyhow, we did HP 550 cc Saline overfilled to 600 under muscle. I was originally going to go with 525, but I'm big at 5 foot 8 and wanted to make sure my chest was filled. I didn't want like two far separated boob lumps. Dr. Shah suggested going bigger to fill the space instead sacrificing a lovely HP shape to a lower profile. I totally agreed! Unfortunately I saw my weight at weigh in (I've been avoiding the scale for months) and I've gained a TON of weight. I usually weigh in at 145 but am sitting at a strong 174 which SUCKS. I want to start cutting calories and working out IMMEDIATELY but since I'm recovering I know better. Here in a month though, it is so on. I'm getting some crows feet botox on my 2 week appt to get my steri strips off so I'll be a whole new woman. Time to get back in shape too! Updated on 10 Jun 2018: Day 5! Definitely got a bit of torpedo boob going on with a bit of noticable, but still slight swelling and a bit of redness around nipple areas contributing to the torpedo look They've been through a lot and in such a sensitive area, I'm chalking it up to all of the recent abuse they've taken All in all looking damn good Dr. Picked my size and I think he did an incredible job. 550 cc saline overfilled to 600. I cant wait to see them here in a month or two!!! Updated on 12 Jun 2018: UGHHHH. I've been feeling pretty darn good, but yesterday I could tell I overdid it. I went to bed early and woke up super early, took my usual meds and have been waiting for them to kick in for 12 hours now lol. Not to mention already dosed again according to prescription. I thought it would be the opposite, but day 7 is the worst so far (not counting day one). But they look beautiful already. I cant wait for week 4. I never bruise, which sucks...like when I get an injury pole dancing and feel super injured/ bruised, and want to show off my battle wounds (pole kisses) I'll be all like 'look!!' And nothing will be there, so it makes be sound like a whiny [RS bleep]. I just dont bruise. So I'm sure most girls at this point look a bit worse, but holy crap they look so damn good. They just dont feel good. Ouch. My BF brought me to our DC place from MO so he could help me recover, so I'm so thankful. I just fed my 5 y/o some spaghetti, cleaned her up, and have got her plopped in front of the computer playing Roblox. I'm planning on taking a muscle relaxer and playing the Sims 4 on the other laptop until the man gets home from work at 6:30, then I'm going to bed lol. Will post more updates tomorzzzz. Updated on 12 Jun 2018: 7 days out, and looking BEAUTIFUL . Dr. Bharat Shah is an AMAZING surgeon and absolutely deserves the best surgeon in the area awards that hes won like 5 years running. What other Dr. Can make boobs look AMAZING like 2 days post op. All I heard were warnings about how scary my [RS bleep] would look for a couple weeks. The day after, when I finally saw them, yeah they were a bit swollen. Day 2 they already looked damn good. Day 7, Fuh-get about it. They're beautiful. Looking like this already makes me that much more excited for the drop and fluff process here in a few weeks. I know they're going to be absolutely gorgeous. Day 7 pain is pretty bad still, but seeing this makes it all worth it. Updated on 13 Jun 2018: Holy cow these feel amazing. I was gung-ho on saline at first and started getting a little iffy because nobody posted saline squish videos! Only silicone! I ended up going to Saline in the end (details on why in previous post) and I am SO GLAD I did! From all of the trash talk on how hard they are, 8 days post and they're already squishy asf. Actually this feel is what I was expecting my final result to feel like, and they're only 8 days old so they havent even begun to soften up! These babies are going to feel amazing once they've dropped and fluffed. 550 cc HP saline overfilled to 600 under muscle. 5 foot 8 Updated on 14 Jun 2018: 8 days post Updated on 14 Jun 2018: Since the uploads are working today I'll post another. All I wanted to see, when I was making my decision was how Saline implants squished and jiggled. I looked for hours but could only find silicone. I figured they cant be as hard as every one says they are, I squished the bags myself. They're not. Mine are already squishy and jiggly at 8 days post. I cant even imagine how good they'll feel once they're settled in. Updated on 14 Jun 2018: Update on my morning routine. I'll start with a clean surgical bra. Next I'll wipe down my breasts with antibacterial wipies. After that, I apply some emu oil around the nipples especially under, since that is where I got a slight stretch mark when my milk came in 5 years ago. Then I apply lotion to the breasts everywhere except at the very bottom. I'll stop an inch away from my steri strips. Then I take some antibacterial gel and apply it around each steri stril. Above below and on each side, being carefully not to wet the strip. Then I placed clean gauze taped to the bottom of the bra to keep it from digging into the strips. Then bra goes on with clean gauze folded into the crease. They want me in at 14 days post to remove the steri strips but I wont be home until 19, so I've got the appointment to remove them 3 weeks out instead of 2 so I want to keep them nice. Heres shape update 9 days post Updated on 2 Jul 2018: God I love my boobs so much. They were already looking darn good at 2 weeks, so almost a month in they're looking even better...and from what I've heard they'll continue looking better and better for 4 to 6 months. Amazing. Updated on 4 Jul 2018: Day after surgery vs 1 month post op Updated on 4 Jul 2018: Here is a video a few days shy of 3 weeks Boobs are squishier at 2.5 weeks than what I expected at 6 months (what with all of the sh** that gets talked on Saline) Mentor HP 550 cc Saline overfilled to 600 undermuscle on 29 y/o 5'8" w/ big frame Updated on 4 Jul 2018: Boobs are finally getting soft enough to fall to the sides a bit when I lay down Updated on 4 Jul 2018: Another video showing how soft my new boobs are at 1 day shy of a month. Day 29 Updated on 4 Jul 2018: Heres a video of them at about 2.5 weeks. Not quite even 3 weeks and already softer than I had imagined Updated on 25 Jul 2018: Best decision I ever made. 550 HP Saline unders overfilled to 600cc. 165 lb semi muscular in the upper body from pole fitness 5 foot 8 My boobs already looked and felt AMAZING at 2 weeks, I knew it was just going to keep getting better.... and it has. 7 weeks out and I have the most beautiful boobs in the world. Dr.shah picked my size and I couldn't be happier. Its amazing how beautifully busty I can look, while still being able to downplay them to look natural when I want. All around amazing experience. Dr. Shah rocks Updated on 2 Nov 2018: I logged in to follow up my original posts and can't find them :( Mr. Shah and his staff was so amazing however, I feel I should post again just so everybody in SW MO can know what a great surgeon he is. I had surgery 4 months ago on June 5th 2018. A few days post op, I was already getting bouncy and squishy and loving the results. Dr. Shah preemptively struck down any potential boob greed by suggesting a size almost 100cc more than I originally requested and I am so glad he did. I wanted to be pretty darn busty but not totally top heavy. I've got a massive bubble butt so I'm so glad I went 600cc instead of 525. We had originally settled on 605 cc silicone, but the day payment was due I switched to saline. I had really cold feet prior and making the switch felt like the right decision. The day after making the switch I ended up running across a huge community of women who had collectively suffered from breast implant illness, gel bleed, and super messy silicone ruptures that permeated their chest cavities. After that I was glad I made the switch. Unfortunately I was a little worried about how the Dr. Would react to my decision, and I was worried that saline would be hard because I couldn't find any good saline squish videos. We'll come surgery day, Dr. Shah didn't question my decision and I signed off for 550 cc saline overfilled to 600. I am so glad I did. Just a few days post op they were squishier than I had imagined they would be healed. Now almost 5 months out and they are amazing. I have the most beautiful, squishy, bouncy boobs in the world. No regrets and I instantly loved them. Easy easy healing process with no complications. 11 out of 10 stars. Will post another squish video so women making the saline vs silicone decision can be informed. Dr. Shah and his staff are amazing. I am so glad I went to the consult, everyone rocks. I got some botox during a post op checkup and am still loving the results of that too. Best office in SW MO . Hands down
My experience with Dr. Shah was amazing. I had a revision rhinoplasty and he did an Amazing job on my nose. My nose looks natural and he helped my breathing significantly. Dr. Shah is honest and cares a lot about his patients. I am so grateful for him. I would trust him to go back to him for any other procedure. Dr. Shahs staff was also very pleasant and helped me feel confortable and cared for. Thank you so much Dr. Shah.
Dr. Shah is amazing! I never had any doubts after my consultation with him. He is very honest and direct which I appreciate. He gave me options without making me feel pressured. I have used Dr. Shah for both cosmetic and medical procedures and highly recommend him! This is a very professional and well-organized practice run by an extremely talented surgeon.
I was always on the thinner side weighing around 125lbs 5"5 but I had love handles so I looked into smart lipo (laser lipo) Dr Shah did my procedure. I was nervous but him and his staff were extremely informative and walked me through the step by step process so I would know what to expect. The procedure went perfect and I was healed up completely within I believe 4 weeks and back at the gym. It gave me the exact results I was looking for... I wore a spanks type body suit for a few weeks under loose clothing until I could wear jeans. I did drop a pants size immediately around the hips area. So if you are reading these reviews wondering if it's for you ask yourself how long it's been since you LOVED looking at yourself naked and take a chance on this. You deserve it. And you won't be dissatisfied with your results granted you do your research on a surgeon! Hope this helps
It's about time for me to make a trip to Mercy Medical Spa to see Kara Walker, PA-C for filler. It might see strange that I live in California and have access to lots of places I could go, yet I fly to Springfield to see Kara....Yes, she's that Good! I've been to several different doctors for filler over the years in Cali - but after I saw Kara, I don't want anyone else touching my face. I highly recommend Kara if you want natural, long lasting results!
I consulted with Dr. Shah about a breast augmentation. He took a great deal of time to answer all of my questions and helped me pick the perfect size for my body. My results are amazing! I would highly recommend having any surgery with this team of professionals!
The decision to perform augmentation over vs. under the muscle is an important one, and should be made taking into account the patient's concerns, the surgeon's experience, and the patient's anatomy. Most thin patients do best with under-the-muscle implants to minimize implant rippling or visibility. Many surgeons recommend above-the-muscle pockets to create an improved breast shape or cleavage, based on the patient's chest anatomy. The dual-plane approach is a hybrid approach that I think works well for most patients. My best advice is to find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with whom you feel comfortable discussing the pros and cons of each approach. This way you can feel confident in your decision and your surgeon.
the proper control of tip rotation is a very important component of rhinoplasty. As the initial swelling recedes, some of the apparent over rotation will self correct. If the tip stays over-rotated, there are methods of correction in the future, but usually require further surgery for tip de-rotation using cartilage grafts to support the structure of the nose.
You have described a problem faced by many women... the changes in weight can cause stretching of the skin and muscle that just don't snap back. A neck lift is the best solution for someone with significant skin and muscle laxity. Be sure to consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to learn your best options.
Patients can expect some normal stages of healing after hair transplant, such as minor swelling, crusting or scabbing of the sites, and then the scabs or crusts will wash away. The grafts are held in place by wound healing proteins and then ingrowth of blood vessels and collagen tissue. After one week, normal washing should not hurt the grafts. the dried protein-fluid may be adherent, but should wash away, alleviating the "cracks" you see in the scalp.
Transplanted hair, when harvested from the back of the scalp, has the potential to last a lifetime. This is important when considering the harvest areas, to ensure that the proper follicles are harvested and transplanted to the balding or thinning areas. This is also why the design of the hairline is so important, as it is a permanent feature of hair transplant and needs to fit the natural shape and pattern of your face and scalp. Make sure you see an expert in Hair Restoration Surgery, who has the knowledge and expertise to provide you with the best advice and results!
