She is wonderful! Super kind and patient. She made me feel totally at ease when I was nervous over first time lip filler! She did an absolutely beautiful job on my lips and nasolabial folds. I couldn’t be happier!
I went in to see a dermatologist who does cosmetic procedures about botox on my forehead but she felt that I really didn't need it. My other area of concern was what is called marionette lines beneath the corners of my mouth going down towards my chin. She said botox would not fix that but Juvederm would be a good option. She also said some people like to get it in the parentheses lines which are the lines under the apples of your cheeks when you smile. They numbed my face with a topical and then I iced that area for about 20 minutes. The dermatologist only used one syringe for all of the areas- marionette lines and parentheses. She massaged it in as she went to spread it out and had me hold up a mirror and I would say how about some over here, I think more over there, and we worked together to complete my look. Today is the day after the procedure and I feel wonderful. There are tiny red dots from where the needle went in in a few spots and there is some very minor swelling that no one would ever notice. But what I love about it is that it smoothed my face out so much. People have been so friendly with me today. I don't know if I just have more confidence or if my face looks kinder. I kind of think this helped with the fact that my face just naturally looks kind of unhappy when I am not making any expression. My cheeks are plumper from the filler in the parentheses lines and I think it just makes my face just look cute right now from the fillers. I think less is more in this situation. You should probably make changes gradually over time instead of pumping multiple syringes into your face in one day so that people don't notice that changes are happening. That is just my opinion if you want to stay natural looking. However, I think that for $400 I would definitely do this again. Especially if it lasts as long as a year, which is what the dermatologist said it might.
