I miss Dr. Comeau so much! She listened to what I wanted done and she delivered perfectly. She’s very thorough and wants to know what your beauty goals are. I’ve since moved out of state and it’s hard to find a Doctor as good as her!!

If time were to stop about 3 weeks after you had your series of three treatments, your results would be sustained :); however, unfortunately, we continue the aging process and that result will wane over time. We lose collagen, elastin, and subcutaneous tissue (tissue under the skin and mucosa) as we age. Most practitioners will recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 1 month apart, to stimulate the cells that rebuild the collagen that was lost over the years and then most patients will require maintenance treatments once every 6 months to a year, depending on the severity of the problem and other related factors such as age, and hormonal state of the patient. One nice thing about ThermiVa is it can also be applied to the external structures which can not only help with some mild tightening of the tissue, but I love that my patients are getting excellent results from their Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) because we can apply the energy to areas around the urethra to help with this. A nice added bonus!
