I Highly recommend. First time we did 40 units 4 months later 26 units. Blown away by the difference and refreshed look. Started seeing difference about 3-4 days and after 10 days looked incredible. Great experience overall
Loved it did 1 syringe and added 1/2 syringe more to paper lip 2 months later. Was quick and results instant. Very minimal swelling if any. Love being able to just add gloss and go. Highly recommend.
Did juvaderm ultra plus in lips. Was quick and aside from initial first injections w/lidocaine was not painful at all, results were Instant, I had very little swelling, within 2 days felt completely normal Loved it and the results
Dr. Ben is incredibly sweet, kind, and knowledgeable. He makes sure to explain everything in great detail. He has great bedside manner and immediately makes you feel comfortable. You can ask him anything you want (I asked him if I was going to cry, lol). I'm only on day 4 of Kybella but this far everything has been a walk in the park!! The injections did NOT hurt. I read so many reviews on here that said otherwise and I psyched myself out for nothing. The needle is so fine and you can tell Dr. Ben has a lot of experience. I dont know if my experience has been so great solely because of Dr. Ben or if everyone thinks it hurts worse than it does. I can only speak for myself. But if you live anywhere near Buffalo, Rochester, in between, etc... it's worth the drive to get this done by Dr. Ben. I promise. Yes on day 1 you're pretty swollen, but mine wasn't too bad. I did only 1 vial though. At the end of the day on day 1 the swelling was already going down and has continued to every day since. My neck was tender I suppose, but I wouldn't call it sore. I'm a baby when it comes to pain and this was all too easy! I even went to work and nobody noticed my bigger chin. Actually someone complimented me on losing weight (which I have been) and i thought that was kind of funny. For anyone who reads every single review on here and googles stories for hours and days (like I did)... please chill out. It's not bad at all. I would say that waxing and plucking hurts 50 times worse. I'll keep everyone updated on the progress and upload some photos later.
He did a great job with my Botox. He put these little dots on my forehead and explained why he was treating the areas that he injected and it really made me feel confident in the procedure. He was also really laid back and down to earth which made the whole thing a nice experience. His prices were on the cheaper side too! Would recommend giving him a try.
I saw Dr. Ben for a Juvederm lip enhancement. He was very professional and knowledgable. The reason that I ended up visiting him is that he showed his work on instagram and did videos and photos. As far as I could tell he is the only person in Rochester that does a microcannula technique which I have read is the better option. He explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. I was worried about the pain but he made me feel comfortable and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. After the initial swelling went down I was really pleased with the results. Highly recommend to anyone in Rochester who is looking to get their lips done!
Procedure was pretty painless. He did about 40 units Forehead area, arch of brows. For me I noticed it changed after a few days but really took the full 14 days to see full effect. Aside from Botox In the past I’ve used restalyne In lips and marionette lines. And had breast implants. I believe we used 40 units in forehead area and frown lines Took maybe 10-15 minutes. was looking to Have lips done as well but scheduled for a few weeks after Botox Updated on 6 Nov 2018: Botox in forehead area and frown lines. 40 units Took. Hi. While unfortunate bruising and swelling can happen any time you get poked with a needle. From what I can see in your attached picture it looks like you have some bruising on one side and none on the other. This will give the lips an asymmetric appearance while the bruising and swelling fades away. I usually tell my clients to give it a solid 2 weeks. This will allow for the swelling/bruising to go away and for the product to settle. If you are still concerned after that amount of time I would go back to your injector and find out what can be done further. Hope this helps!
Hi. It all really depends on what your aesthetic is and what you like? If you generally like the shape of your lip and their fullness then a lip augmentation wouldn't make sense. If, as you alluded to, you would like your bottom lip to be more broad then a lip enhancement that added dimension and length to your bottom lip might be an ideal solution. It is important that you go to an injector that is able to listen and understand what it is that your are hoping to accomplish and then has the skills to deliver!
Hi, Great question! The main things that I worry about when doing microneedling (or any treatment that breaks the skin barrier) is bruising/bleeding, pain, and infection. The first can be addressed with proper technique and you should ensure that your provider is experienced and knows how to do a proper microneedling technique. The second is solved by using a topical numbing agent and many of my clients describe the procedure as similar to getting a massage where they can feel the pressure but it is not painful! The third major complication can be avoided by using a semi-sterile technique and new tips for every client. The last concern is downtime. Most of my clients have what appears to be a sunburn for the first 24-48 hours and they are able to resume their normal activities the following day. Hope this helps!
Hi, The antibiotic that you are taking would not be a contraindication for microneedling. You can always call the provider that you are considering and ask them what their specific policy is for microneedling and antibiotics.
Hi. Great questions! I would definitely say that you have full lips. However, you have a generally small overall size to your lips and you could use dermal fillers to augment and give you a longer lip. By concentrating the filler from the oral commissures you can gain a more proportional lip shape. If you enjoy your natural lip shape then I would not recommend addition of fillers. Hope this helps!
