Good news, looks like the procedure worked well for you. Bad news, you are having regrets. Hair removal/reduction is intended to be permanent. Most aesthetic treatments are like surgeries, not reversible. Often&nbsp;we want to have some tissues damaged or destroyed like hair follicles or removed in attempt to regenerate new collagen growth like skin&nbsp;resurfacing procedures or liposuction. It is so important to understand all the implications of the procedures you are undergoing, ask questions about possible side effects, tell the provider details of your medical history to be safe and well prepared for any changes you may experience after the procedures. Don't believe the stem cells are used to regenerate the hair after laser hair removal.&nbsp;

Its is recommended not to exercise, undergo any heat causing activities, like going to the spa, hot tub, hairdresser, not to recline lower than 45 degrees for at least 4 hours after Botox injections.&nbsp;. Those&nbsp;activities can lessen or change the intended results. You actually suppose to move your facial muscles actively every 15 min for 2 hours&nbsp;after the treatment to make sure the toxin is taken up by muscles in your face faster.&nbsp;
Yes its is not advised to exercise for 24 hours, and&nbsp;your job may be considered too active and you may want to schedule injection before your&nbsp;day off. Its also known that active people have&nbsp;shorter Botox&nbsp;action and may need more injections per year to maintain the effects.&nbsp;
And its good to remember that full effect may take up to 7-10 days up to 14 days.&nbsp;

I'm getting Botox on forehead, 11's, temporalis, &amp; jaw. I've read you shouldn't exercise 24-48 hours after to reduce risk of migration. I'm getting Botox at 4:30 PM &amp; work early the next morning. My job is physically active and requires some heavy lifting throughout the day, cleaning, bending, setting up/breaking down folding tables, etc. Is this kind of activity considered to be exercise that should be avoided for 24-48 hrs post-treatment? Am I at risk for migration? Should I take off next day?

After getting Botox in late afternoon, will resuming my physically active job the next morning cause Botox to migrate?

Thank you for your question. You made a great investment and tried this new treatment that is very promising for people who want to define their&nbsp;muscles. If you were a good candidate for this procedure to start with you should see results soon after or in up to 4 weeks post last procedure. However effect may vary from person to person. We recently obtained this great machine and&nbsp;personally and my staff are experiencing some subjective muscle toning after just 2 treatments. Some factors may delay the gratification, like smoking, frequent alcohol consumption, if you do not usually exercise and muscles are pretty weak to start with and obviously if&nbsp;diet is not optimal and lacking nutritional value. You can give it more time and even get an additional treatment session if possible. Proper photos may help to see objective results. And, please keep us posted how it feels in few weeks! I agree, this is not a problem described as a&nbsp;possible side effects of laser treatment. But what is most important is to check a pregnancy test and if you have an intrauterine device and have not reported it to the treating provider, then you should have an appointment to check for any gynecologic issues. And even if you don't have the above problems, still see your doctor and may be have a pelvic ultrasound done as you will need to continue with your hair removal treatments and want to make sure you don't have any organic issues going on. I got first session done for laser treatment ( brazillian) and i started bleeding vaginally. I have seen that some people have asked the same question here. I just got over with my cycle last week so it can not be period. It heavier than spotting but lighter than period. If other people are asking same thing, i am sure something is happening after getting laser treatment done for brazillian area. I hope i will get an answer.

That is a great question!&nbsp;If you had pictures before the treatment that should help. Also if you seen results after 1st treatment, that is a great sign that you are being treated with good settings. Sometimes intervals between treatments need to be extended to 10-12 weeks instead if 4-6 especially on the extremities. As you know only actively growing hair that are still connected to the hair bulb are getting heated and treated and those hair that are in transition or resting phase are not getting treated during laser session. And those resting stages can vary in different patients. So monitor new hair growth after laser treatment starting after 4-6 weeks to see if you can start next treatment or you should reschedule in few weeks.&nbsp;
Also it&nbsp;takes time for treated&nbsp;hair to leave the skin (about 2 weeks after treatment)&nbsp;and it&nbsp;may seem like its grows more or laser did not work. Just clarify the&nbsp;settings and intervals with your provider, making sure they use settings for coarse hair as hair still feels stubby. Some hair types, genetics or hormonal status will require more treatments and maintenance treatments to achieve final desired results.&nbsp;

So i have been getting laser hair removal Just had my fourth session about a week ago and at first it looked like it was working but now i see black dots everywhere. they look more prominent now then before. and it’s not smooth. i feel hairs in some places like stubbs. i’m just so sad, and it also looks like i have some ingrown hairs but i’m not sure.

Sorry you are not having a great result. However, it may be a process and if you discuss it with the treating provider you may still reach your goal of no hair. Its important to establish your specific hair cycle and see if intervals between treatments were long enough and don't shave completely before the treatment so the provider can chose the appropriate setting for specific areas. Were you doing IPL or true laser? May be trying a true laser would be better for you. Tailored approach may be needed for you to get a more uniform result. It would be much longer and more difficult to regrow hair and there is no proven or approved treatment for bikini area and may be also risky to try things you are not sure in. Best luck!

I have had 5 sessions of laser hair removal on my bikini area and now deeply regret it. I wanted my bikini line cleaned up and should not have gone for the full thing. Its been a month and a half since my last treatment amand d only some hairs have grown back and are very patchy. Is there ANY way to get down there back to the way it was before? I'll try anything!

I would think there are no studies that were done on that subject and unlikely there will be any. I would be very cautious. Many times the aspirations are done during injections to avoid entering a vessel and patients blood can enter the syringe.&nbsp;Even if the needle is changed immediately before&nbsp;syringe is stored, it is not safe to use it on a different patient. If doctor saves syringe after injecting&nbsp;you specifically and you want to save it for the future, then he/she should change the needle before storage and it may be fine. SAFETY FIRST!

Sometimes my dermatologist will have a half or quarter syringe left of filler that he uses to do “touch ups”. Obviously he changes the needle, but is this a hygienic practice and does it put me at risk for contracting any diseases like HIV?

Laser hair removal is not exactly 100% , its more like hair reduction procedure. It makes hair fine and thin with subsequent treatments, but some follicles may remain behind. Subsequent testosterone therapy can stimulate the remaining hair follicles to grow coarse hair again and will likely depend on the dose and personal receptor sensitivity to testosterone. You possibly&nbsp;might&nbsp;need touch ups.&nbsp;&nbsp;Its known that in hirsutism ( male pattern hair growth in females, like in PCOS patients) it is more difficult to treat hair and usually requires more sessions to get desired effect. Hope it will&nbsp;not stop you from getting a&nbsp;needed hormonal therapy.
