Had my TT on 11/18/16, spent two days in hospital. I am 64 years old never been over weight but had put on about 15 extra pounds these past few years then lost it quickly along with muscle tone. Also had 3 cesareans in my childbearing days. Never had to use the pain pump or pain pills after coming home. Had first drain out 5 days post op and second out 7 days post op. Had a couple of inside sutures make there way out that the doc removed, little bit of bacitracin and it healed in a couple of days. Most difficult part was sleeping on my back, with knees bent, I'm a side sleeper. I was hiking on New Year's Day 6 weeks post op. Yes I had some soreness and pain but nothing I couldn't handle without drugs. It was difficult getting in and out of bed for a couple of weeks. My doc said I am his favorite patient, he couldn't believe I didn't need pain meds. My surgeon was excellent before and after care, his wife is also a doctor and assists him she is wonderful also. Going back on Monday to schedule an arm lift, I need to know if I should wait until after my trip to Europe in May or get it done now. The horror stories I have read on here have me a little worried about an arm lift and how long the recovery is.
