After losing weight I still had a belly so I decided to have the procedure done on my midriff and my stomach. I feel that I need to have a second treatment on my stomach even with the reduction I feel I would need more. My midriff turned out well with no need for a second treatment. I would recommend this treatment but a second time will probably be needed in most areas.

Botox, Dysport or Xeomin may be used to inject the hypertrophic masseters, this will result in "slimming" of the face. The results are temporary and repeat injections are required when the effects of the Botulinum toxin wear off (typically 3-4 months, sometimes even up to 6 months or longer). You should see an experienced practitioner for this procedure who understands the anatomy of the area in order to minimize potential complications and unintentional injury to the parotid gland or duct, this is unlikely in the hands of a skilled cosmetic surgeon, Dermatologist or aesthetic physician. Overall, it is a fairly safe procedure.
Belotero Balance is a nice filler for injection into the tear trough area and one is less likely to get the Tyndall effect that can occur with Restylane injections (from too superficial injections). This is an advanced technique and should only be performed by doctors who understand the delicate periorbital area anatomy and have had advanced training on filler injections in this area. An experienced injector can use the needle or microcannula technique with excellent results, however less bruising is seen with the cannula technique.
