I think Dr Shahmalak is probably the best FUE doctor if you look at the UK only, I understand the review a couple bits feel rushed, not too bad but I wouldn't' mark down for this as its all about results still and by the end I just wanted to get to my room, I wouldn't go for more the 1200 half day or 2500 full day that would be fine. I did think Dr Shahmalak and the team are very nice. Still bottom line the work is outstanding and I feel the hair line design was world class, I will attach a five days after op picture and you can see the design and placement quality, very pleased how many doctors can do that. The donor area work was exceptional too. I hope you can see from the photo that is about as good as you will see anywhere on the internet. If you are NW5 plus you might want to get 4000 grafts in Turkey, Dr Shahmalak would be expensive and might be too much work, if you are looking for 1000 - 1200 grafts to get a real looking hairline, he is one of the best in the world. Also has very good nurse so he doesn't need to be around for the last few hours to insert, his work is making hairline and extraction which takes many hours and talent. Updated on 19 Aug 2018: This is a better hairline pic, personally think it is totally natural, well as close as is possible lets remember its stil a HT, Dr Shahmalak said this was a feathered design. I still have have a bit more growth to come. Anyway its a great job, he is probably best UK FUE Dr, but there arecsome excellent ones in Belgium and Turkey as well. I actually cancelled an appointment with a Belgium great Dr as Dr Shahmalak was easier to get to for me and hard to not like him when you meet him.
Ive just had a FUE procedure performed By Dr.Shahmalak of crown clinics And also involved was Dr.Cole And his team My opinión so far is to be that these 2 doctors are very profesional And im already feeling confident in my procedure, having seen quite a few before & after pics i decided that if was i going to take a chance any Where it would be here,i Will keep you updated with pics And growth etc :)
Don’t be fooled by this man’s PR machine. I had a hair transplant done by Mr Shahmalak in 2015 and it is the biggest mistake of my life. Mr S was flippant and disrespectful towards me from beginning to end. As a matter of fact, I absolutely did not need a hair transplant at all and I believe he could see this, hence his rude and dismissive attitude towards me. A decent and responsible surgeon would have refused to operate on me, especially considering that when I went to see him, I was in a pretty bleak headspace since my father passed away, which Mr. S knew about. Mr S paid no attention to detail and displayed absolutely zero finesse during the procedure. It was clear he couldn’t wait to get me out of his office. He had his ‘girls’ do most of the work for him and he left me with an ugly straight line of huge hair plugs across my forehead which I have since had revised. When I went for a follow up visit with him and told him I was concerned about the appearance of the transplant, he smugly told me to have the hairs lasered out if I wished and that he personally would be more concerned about the appearance of the massive scar I am now left with on the back of my head. Is that really any way to speak to a woman who has paid you thousands of pounds for your professional service?!! This man is an out and out psychopath in my experience and I wouldn’t go near him with a barge pole.
I had a hair transplant with Dr Shahmalak back in 2011. I wish I never done it at such a young age (19) and I would of known more about the procedure I.E. how many grafts and what to expect. I now know that I needed about 2000 grafts for full coverage and density, but he put in 650 grafts and only about 70 grew, for £3,200 it was awful. After my hair transplant I was left with permanent tissue scarring on the temple area which I regretted so much. I eventually found out about smp and got that done to cover the bad hair transplant. After 7 years which is now I went to Turkey to Emrah Cinik to get a second hair transplant as I'm now 26 and thought based on his reviews and being that my friend went and came back with great results why not go which was the best choice I probably ever made my whole hairline has been covered and you would never know I had a bad hair transplant before. Please avoid this doctor I don't know how on earth he is voted one of the best in the world maybe if you pay 20k he does a better job. I paid £1,700 for my second hair tranpslant with Dr Emrah Cinik and I happily say my pain and suffering is now over.
