These few negative reviews on here are NOT reflective of my experiences with Dr. Mata. He always took time to listen to me (I ask a ton of questions), and provided me with options and expert medical advice. My results were successful after he removed a fibroid cyst on my chest. It's important to note that usually I badly scar. I explained my scar tendencies and he made sure to take extra care that I did not scar (even though that can't be guaranteed) and now (years later) the incision area is nearly invisible. Yes, this was a minor procedure he did in the OR (no anesthesia/ just numbing), but I am certain it was better than "in office" because everything was sterile and the OR lighting and OR table aided in a perfectly performed procedure. Also, he had to send the removed tissue to hystology from the OR. By the way, I really want breast implants/ augmentation and I only want Dr. Mata to do the surgery. I know a lady that had her breast augmentation done by him and they were so natural and beautiful. Also, he's done Botox on me and treated some spider veins in my legs with saline. Also, his wife manages the office and she was always profession and just as caring. The other thing I noticed about him (and people in the waiting room) is that he performs a wide array of plastic surg. procedures that aren't cosmetic like injuries and skin disease which restore nature. He's an excellent all-around surgeon who isn't strictly focused on "selling" outrageous cosmetic procedures. In closing, Dr. Mata is trusted by me as an excellent doctor.

i would not recommend him to anyone i didnt had a very good experience with him i had to go get my breast redo after he made one boob little bigger than the other one and he said it would it will come together over time and i should give it little more time and i was other a year and i felt it was still the same i when to other doc and he points it out before i said anything about it

I had Botox done by him in my eyes glabella and forehead. I am thrilled with the look. I feel happier and more confident. He does per treatment area not syringe so you may have to split it up. It is a bit difficult the first 24 hours but after that it’s easier. I recommend Dr. mata for his friendly honest demeanor. He does not pressure patients as he actually told me I didn’t need Botox so that was nice. He discouraged me from doing too much and really did a fantastic job. I’ll be going back in a few months again.

I jumped the gun on this one. Decided to go with him and I now have a blockage & obstruction of my breathing on the left side of my nose. Besides that my cartilages are flared out. I spoke to another surgeon and am having a revision now 10 years later. DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to get deformed. Enough said.
