My experience with this doctor was excellent to say the least. First of all, I read his bio and carefully read , on his clinic's site, Clinica Dermatologica Laser Puebla, his published articles, presentations as a peer teacher and everything else on the site. I was searching for a super specialist in facial fat transfer and also someone who had erbium laser. This combination is not easy to achieve but Dr. Arellano had was I was looking for. I had a consultation through video as I do not live in Mexico. The doctor listened and told me he could perform these treatments. When I got to my visit he, again sat with me to go over everything and answer all my questions. I went into this knowing very well the approximated recovery scenarios. In my case, I bruise easily so my face was a bit bruised but I understood very well that experts always go in deep so that the fat has the ideal placement not just for the resulting desired contours but also the survival of the fat and the longevity of the treatment. I can say that after three weeks I was ok with going without my mask, thank goodness for the masks! I am in love with how my face looks and going into my fourth week very happy that I still have a slightly rounded contours as I know after the 3 or 4 month I'll be looking more like what the fat survival is going to be. My lips have been a bit slower to unswell but again, it's to be expected and also I develop cold sores pretty bad after a lip injury so I totally knw they would be swollen for a while. The lips have a lovely shape and feel , again I don't mind that theyre still a bit big because I want that fat to stay and live. I'm going to say that for me the harvest areas were a little uncomfortable but that's because I did not have a whole bunch of fat to begin with, the reason why my face was 'gaunt' looking, but the doctor was able to get what was needed. After 3 weeks that area started healing pretty quickly. I am really excited about having done this and that I was able to locate a true expert in this matter. Only wished I lived closer but the trip was absolutely worth it!! I am looking 30 at 53, but I know after everything's said and done I'll be more like at 40. But that is absolutely what I had hoped for!!! I feel and look refreshed and healthy again :D
