After breastfeeding, my boobs were not the same. I knew I wanted to have them fixed but never thought I would actually go through with it, until I met Dr. Buglino. This man is not only smart and talented, he truly cares about his patients and their happiness. My consultation was thorough and Dr. Buglino was able to see how nervous I was. He took his time with me and really went above and beyond to ease my worries and address all of my concerns. He is a patient and caring man! Amy, the office manager, is also wonderful and always accommodating. Every time I called or had an appointment I felt like I was their number one priority . My recovery was a breeze and they were there for me every step of the way. The entire experience with Dr. Buglino and his staff has been fantastic. I’m only two months post-op and I couldn’t be happier with my results! Thank you Dr. Buglino and staff!
Oh man where do I begin?! It has only been about 3 weeks since I did my upper, lower abdomen and waist. even with the swelling I could see slight results. I cant wait till the 6 months to see how it will completely look. The staff there was phenomenal. Susan at the front was very accommodating to my schedule to make sure I would have enough recovery time and a follow up appointment that I could keep. The nurses Brittany and Valerie were AMAZING, very attentive. Drum roll pleaseeee Award for Best Dr goes to Dr. Buglino. I can tell he was very skillful and knowledgeable and that definently put me at ease. He was also patient with the concerns I had. Now the procedure itself was not painless like many other people lead you to believe. I mean its lipo of course you're going to feel something but it wasn't unbearable. This week I returned to do my bra back rolls and was able to go to work the next day! Didn't have any drainage, Im excited and again cant wait to see how it all looks with the swelling gone. Love Love Love this place I would recommend anyone to Sono Bello Lake Success?New Hyde Park Location!
Hi, Thank you for your question. Obviously a formal consultation to truly evaluate the degree of fat deposition and skin laxity is appropriate. That being said, we often perform liposuction and brachioplasty (arm lift) together. Lipocontouring allows us to further reduce the bulk of the arm to maximize the amount of redundant skin resection for the best cosmetic result.
The photos appear to be a strong likelihood of a post operative hematoma. A physical exam would obviously be best for a definitive diagnosis. I would seek close follow up with your plastic surgeon. If lack of improvement or worsening symptoms, radiologic evaluation vs exploration would be necessary.
Thank you for your question. Of course a physical exam is ideal, but from your photos it appears that you have slight animation /movement of the left breast implant wth flexion. The fact that the scar rides up on flexion could be a indication of incomplete release of the pec muscle or some early scar formation causing the implant to push down in flexion. Slight animation with movement is fairly common for submuscular placed implants. It is important to follow up with your plastic surgeon for a thorough exam to make a accurate assessment.
It appears that the outline is a accentuated vermillion border ( demarcation between lip and adjacent skin). I always ask patients prior to filler placement to describe their desired result and even provide similar photos of lips they desire. Some patients like that vermillion accentuation as a lip liner enhancement. Each patients preference is different. If filler was place within 48 hours, manipulation/ massage may be able to reduce that effect. If not, hyaluronidase will be able to dissolve the filler.
Hi. Thank you for your question. I am not aware of betadine use to dissolve filler or to extract water from the skin. I would ask your plastic surgeon/ dermatologist/ injector for evidence supporting these claims.
