Fillers and Other Injectables
I have spent over two decades refining my technique with nonsurgical facial fillers and injectables. I am a national trainer in the use of many leading brands for physicians around the country, teaching my signature facial rejuvenation techniques. At my Boston-area practice, in both Back Bay and Northshore, I use a combination of injectables, customized to each patient, to smooth wrinkles, folds, and restore lost volume to the face. My unique liquid facelift is one of my most popular procedures and can be a wonderful alternative for patients who may not be ready for a surgical facelift. It primarily involves Sculptra, a long-lasting filler that stimulates new collagen production, along with other dermal fillers like Radiesse and Juvéderm, to restore facial volume and visible lift, and Botox to smooth the wrinkles you have and prevent new ones from forming. Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement
For patients who are experiencing a loss of volume in the cheeks or sagging along the jawline and jowls, dermal fillers and injectables can be a wonderful alternative to procedures like cheek and chin implants, as they help temporarily restore and reshape the contours of the face without the need for invasive surgery. I use Sculptra and Juvéderm Voluma XC for cheek and chin enhancements in my Boston-area practice, in both Back Bay and Northshore to instantly create a nonsurgical facelift effect, restoring lost volume to create more defined contours in the face and to smooth out deep folds and wrinkles. Because of their thicker formulations, they are injected deeper into facial tissue to create long-lasting effects that reverse the signs of aging in the cheeks and chin.

After earning her medical degree from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University School of Medicine in Frankfurt, Germany, Dr. Petropoulos headed to the U.S., where she completed residencies in head and neck surgery at Harvard University’s teaching hospitals, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She also completed fellowships in facial plastic surgery at both Harvard University and Ottawa University.
Dr. Petropoulos is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Lahey Health Speakers Bureau. She has published many scientific articles in prestigious medical journals and received a National Institute of Health Fellowship.
