How much weight can I expect to lose from UltraSlim?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello, thank you for your question.

How much weight you lose is really going to depend on the individual.  We have had patients who have lost as much as 40 pounds and as few as 5-10.

Here are some factors:

  • What is the current diet like?
  • What exercise are you doing?
  • Are you willing to follow the tips and advice of our practitioner?
  • Are you qualified for UltraSlim? (if your liver function is poor, you may not qualify)

It is possible to achieve your goal weight with UltraSlim.  Usually patients do anywhere between 6-12 treatments.  However, very heavy individuals may need to do many more.

Another positive effect of doing multiple treatments though is not only is the light wonderful for helping the skin to look younger and vibrant, but also patients report they too feel relaxed while under treatment then energetic and vibrant afterwards.

Wanted to know if Criocuum fat freezing is the same as CoolSculpting?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi MJZafra,

The question I have is, are you sold on "freezing the fat"?  It is minimally invasive (in both procedures, it attaches to the skin) and there is a cold vacuum suctioning your skin, which will kill the fat cells.  Some patients have reported it to be painful.

Killing the fat cells is called apoptosis.  The data on the web about it is that, it removes the fat cells.  Yes, dead cells leave the body.  But what can happen in the areas (the hard to remove fat areas, likely are the ones treated), the fat comes back and when it does, it can't come back to that area so that's where you can potentially get something called Body Dysmorphia.  The body is misshapen because of little pockets of fat, sometimes hard and lumpy, appearing in other parts of the body.  This forces patients to have to be retreated or elect to have surgery.  And by the way, after surgery this can happen too.

If you want to go as natural as you can go with fat loss, I recommend you seek out a practitioner who does UltraSlim.  It's not Ultrashape, it's UltraSlim. It's called a cold light therapy.  The light is not cold however, it's warm and comfortable.  Nothing attaches to your body and it doesn't kill the fat cells.  The fat cells leave the body naturally through the lymphatic system, and body contouring is achieved through this natural process.  The light also stimulates collagen and elastin.

Whatever you decide, good luck.

Metal implant and RF: I want to do a slimming treatment with radio frequency on my abdomen and back, advice?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello Salmajid, thank you for your question.  Generally, it should not be an issue if it doesn't fall in the treatment area.  You should always make your doctor aware of anything you have in your body which is implanted and cannot be removed.  They will make the final decision on whether the treatment is right for you.

What areas of the body can be treated with UltraSlim?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thank you for your question!

UltraSlim is effective on most any area of the body where you have stubborn fat:

  • Stomach
  • Thighs
  • Buttocks
  • Arms
  • Breast tissue (non-surgical breast reduction)
  • Knees
  • Back fat
  • Back bra area
  • Neck/double chin

We can also cover areas you don't want treated.  You can expect to lose at least 2 inches in your first treatment with no downtime.

What can I expect from an UltraSlim procedure?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Great question!

The first thing that happens is a short free consultation with your treatment specialist.  You will learn a little about Ultraslim and how it works and discuss medical history to ensure this treatment is right for you. (If you have liver problems or cancer, that is a disqualification for the treatment).  As long as you're medically cleared, then you'll fill out a form to describe your goals.

After that you'll meet the technician.  In the private room, you'll undress to your underwear.  She will take your before pictures.   She will measure you and mark your skin with a pen or marker (removable) where she measures you so that she can measure in the exact same spot after the treatment.

You will then lie down on a massage table where the technician will position the light over the stomach and thigh area.  During this time you can, read a book, listen to music on your phone, or watch a show or do some social media.  She will turn on the machine and after 8 minutes it automatically shuts off.  She will then have you get into the next position, etc... until you have done the four positions covering your body.  If you are doing your arms as well, we will add that to your treatment afterwards.

So after 32 minutes, most patients are done.  The technician comes back to take measurements and pictures.  You get dressed and go over the results with your technician.  In most cases people lose more than 2 inches in their first treatment.  But you will lose at least 2 inches.

Is there any downtime with UltraSlim?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  UltraSlim is considered a cold light treatment.  In actuality, the light is slightly warm.  The device and light hovers above the body, it doesn't touch or attach to the body in any way.  It's quite relaxing and patients say they feel invigorated after treatments.

The UltraSlim treatment takes around 32 minutes for most patients.  Others who have additional areas they want to treat add an additional 16 to 32 minutes on top of that.  Cellulite takes longer, it's a 20 minute treatment on each side, so 40 minutes.  A facial with UltraSlim is also 40 minutes.

Again there is no downtime, you can come in your lunch hour and no one will know you've had a treatment, but everyone will wonder how you lost 2 or more inches over lunch.

We've had patients lose as much as 9 inches in their first treatment.

You do the treatment once a week until you meet your goal weight.  It also helps to build collagen and tightens the skin.  We have seen marked improvements in the skin texture, firmness and overall appearance in all cases, even in older, heavier women.  UltraSlim helps to deliver a youthful appearance and reduce fat and cellulite.

Fat removal by the UltraSlim Machine. Will this process fix my problem areas?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi Schatze1,  Yes, absolutely.  UltraSlim has been proven effective time and time again in our office here in California.  I can understand the struggle to lose fat in certain areas, especially if you're already working out a lot.  Women with problem areas can address these areas in as few as 3 treatments or as many as 12, depending on what is needed.  Sometimes if a part of the body is extra heavy, depending on the advice of the technician, they may do extra time on the area, such as your legs.  We have had much success with these areas.  This is by far the easiest solution because it's such an easy treatment, with no pain or downtime and even very relaxing.

Many of our patients come for pre-wedding fat loss, or to get healthier, have less weight, less stress on their knees, or if they are pre-Diabetic and need help with weight loss.  Some come because of those trouble areas and just to look and feel better.  We help them all.

There are so many advantages to using this nonsurgical noninvasive device.  Our patients love it.  So does our staff.

Is UltraSlim Effective in Fat reduction?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello MoiToo,

UltraSlim is an extremely effective way to lose fat naturally.  It is noninvasive and has no downtime, unlike liposuction.  The treatment doesn't kill the fat cells, like coolsculpting and liposuction.  The treatment itself takes around 32 minutes (8 minutes on 4 areas), sometimes more if adding arms or face.  If doing cellulite treatment, it takes around 40 minutes.

The number of treatments you will need depends on your weight loss goals.  The technicians can determine how many treatments you need after your first treatment.  Because you want to lose fat only in certain areas, the technician covers the areas you don't want to address.

You will be measured in very specific areas before and after the treatment and those areas are marked with a pen.

We have seen people lose 9 inches on their first treatment.  The average client does 6-12 treatments.  These can usually be done over lunch.  You do one treatment a week.

This is a far better option than coolsculpting and lipo which kill the fat cells and can cause body dysmorphia. (The fat comes back into other areas and looks lumpy).

Best regards,

Dr. Anju Mathur

How long does the UltraSlim procedure last and how many treatments are needed?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

UltraSlim is a very effective way to lose fat naturally.  It is noninvasive and has no downtime.  The treatment itself takes around 32 minutes, sometimes more if we are adding arms or face.  Or if we are doing cellulite treatment it takes longer.

The number of treatments you will need depends on your weight loss goals.  We will be able to determine how many treatments you need after your first treatment.

We measure you at very precise areas before and after the treatment.  You will know how many inches overall you lost and we also do a fat analysis with a very accurate BMI machine.  We will then be able to determine how many treatments.

In our clinic we have seen people lose as much as 9 inches on their first treatment alone.  Over 6-12 treatments on average people are losing 10-30 inches and 10-40 pounds.

If your diet, exercise and health routine is good, you can definitely maintain this fat loss.  If you are going to crispy cream or in and out every day and live a fast food diet lifestyle, you may put it back on quickly, but that's the same with any treatment.

If I have TempSure skin tightening on my entire face, how long before I can get PRP injections?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi Sun_Dahlia,

As with any sort of procedure, take caution. It is recommended that you do TempSure first then wait two weeks before having botox, for example.  So, PRP, being an injection (although not toxic like Botox), I would recommend waiting a month to allow the full effects of the TempSure to manifest, then after the PRP wait 2 weeks to do the TempSure again.  I would make the same suggestion if you're talking about doing a vampire facial, microneedling with prp.

However, it's safe to do it two weeks after your TempSure treatment according to the manufacturer.
