Dr Angkana performed Breast augmentation and lift, braline back lift, extended tummy tuck and mons Pubis lift on me. I'm more than happy with my results. The stitch work was amazing! My lines are so straight and small. Even my doctor at home was super impressed. I'm so glad to have gone with Dr Angkana. She does amazing work and had great bedside manner. Thank you for giving me a new body! Love it
Dr Angkana Tanvatanagul was amazing. She speaks perfect English and is obviously highly skilled. I am super happy with my results. I had standard tummy tuck, breast revision, breast, lift, breast reduction, small 200cc implants and areola reduction. She was very thorough with her consultation before my surgery. I had implants that were 23 years old, they never dropped and sat very high. I also suffered from very bad "double bubble". I discussed my concerns with Dr Angkana Tanvatanagul and wanted to make sure those same issues did not happen again (my previous surgery was done in USA by another surgeon). She took the time to clearly explain everything to me and I am happy to report that I now have the most perfect boobs, lol.
Dr Angkana was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and explained all details of my procedures thoroughly and answered all my questions even if they were silly. She didn't want to big implants as my skin was damaged and I trusted her as she knew they would go bad or saggy and she was right! I'm over the moon with my transformation and she has given me skin to feel comfortable in for the first time in my life! Thank you so so so much Dr Angkana you are a magician and an angel!
Incredible. Dr Angkana was recommended to me by at least three other people. I chose her for my brachioplasty and I could not be more happy with the result. She is an incredible surgeon who had the most wonderful, caring and professional manner. She followed up with me after the surgery and I felt very safe in her hands. When I had my stitches reviewed back in Australia, the doctor said he had never seen stitching like that in his whole career, it was so fine. I would recommend Dr Angkana to anybody that wants a superior result.
Dr Angkana is an absolute miracle worker who has changed my life. After losing 50kgs with diet and exceed use, I had the privilege of having her perform multiple surgeries to remove my excess skin including: breast lift and augmentation; tummy tuck; mons pubis lift; arm lift and platysmaplasty. Dr Angkana is an incredible surgeon whose attention to detail is impeccable. Her extensive skills and precision have resulted in all of my surgeries being complication free with very minimal scarring. I absolutely recommend Dr Angkana to everyone and give her and her team all the credit whenever I am praised about the result of my surgeries. She listened to my wishes and concerns and gave me constructive feedback from her professional perspective and consequently my results speak for themselves. I couldn’t be more happier or grateful.
I had a breast reduction & lift with Dr Angkana, What a amazing lady. Very professional. I had very sagging breasts, she’s done a fantastic job couldn’t be happier with the outcome, her stitching is very neat. I highly recommended her.
I really liked Dr Angkana. I found she really listened to what I wanted instead of just doing what I thought but also had boundaries. I found her very professional, friendly and seemed to genuinely care. Being in the medical field myself I found this very reassuring
Extended Tummy Tuck, Breast Reduction with lift with 300cc high profile round implants. Wow, this woman is incredible. She managed to get 5.8kg of sagging skin off me after losing 100kg. I saw reviews stating she was blunt etc, I didn’t get that at all. She was humorous, compassionate and caring, she listened to my concerns but she had her own and I respect that she is the surgeon and knows what she is doing. Her team are incredible and set low expectations however when I saw the after product when I woke up I was surprised. She is amazing and has such attention to detail, her incisions are minimal and the way I was put back together was neat and tidy. Highly reccomended, this woman has changed my life. A huge thank you to Destination beauty and Dr Angkana
I booked with Dr Angkana for a breast augmentation and lift as after having a baby my breasts had significantly sagged. Dr Angkana was direct, honest and thorough through all of her work. My new boobs are healing great and I would highly recommend her.
OK...where to begin. Like most people on here I have been lurking around RealSelf for about 2 years reading everyone's reviews. It started out first as only my breasts but then really started to hate my stomach, so decided to include that as well. A little about me: I am currently 37, no kids and am living in Japan, so I figured while I am close (I am a US citizen), I would do it now. I have always been overweight starting about age 10 and by high school I was pushing 210 lbs. Then add in college and lots of partying and by the time I was 31 I was pushing 300 lbs (136 kg). In 2011 , I decided enough was enough and I went through the motions to have VSG surgery, which I did in August of 2012. The lowest I got with the VSG was 190 lbs (86 kg) and I was pretty fine with that weight, but never really worked to get the last 20 lbs off. My happy weight would be about 175 lbs at 5'7 but with a large frame. Today: Currently I weigh in at 202 lbs (92 kg) and just secured a date for a Breast Lift, Breast Augmentation, Lipo to Flanks and upper stomach, an Extended tummy tuck and a Mons lift with Destination Beauty and Dr. Angkana. I now have two months to try to budge the last 20 lbs (10 kg) until surgery, I am getting a gym membership, and plan to bust my ass until I leave for Bangkok. Losing a 100 lbs (45 kg) and my stomach is a giant jiggly mess, lots of stretch marks ( they do not bother me) and my breasts I have never liked. They are slightly tubular, with large areolas, but have never fit my frame. I want cleavage!!! I have never had cleavage or round firm breasts, even as a teenager. My bra size is currently 38 B/C depending upon the brand and even at 300 lbs I was still a B/C cup, but the band was a 42. I know there is a lot more I could say, but for now I think that is enough. I plan on documenting every stage of my journey and my weight loss. I have posted the pictures that I sent to DB for my quote, which were frankly hard to take and I am disgusted with myself. My arms I am ok with, I can tighten those up, but the thighs might be something I work on later on when I am closer to goal weight. Updated on 30 Jan 2018: OK the deposit has been paid and my flights booked. For those who are planning on going through Destination Beauty...the deposit is the charge for the hotel and transfers. More details about the time i am spending in Bangkok.. Arrive : April 3rd Surgery: April 4th Hospital Stay: 7 nights (I think the surgeries are being broken up into two sessions) Check into Hotel: April 11th Check out: April 28th My boyfriend is coming on the 18th to stay with me until we leave on the 28th. It will be a little scary going by myself for two weeks but he couldn't get that much time off and I didn't want him to see me all in pain and the gross stuff at the beginning. Tomorrow I start back at the gym and back onto my Keto diet... Updated on 5 Mar 2018: Ok so 28 days to go...eeeekks. Anyways, February wasn't that good for me food wise, but I did go back to the gym. My emotional eating (binge eating) has always been a problem with me and something that didn't go away with weight loss surgery, but did get better. I didn't gain any weight but I didn't lose any either. Now it's March and I have started a mostly liquid diet to help me prepare for surgery, kick my bad eating habits and help me lose some weight. I am drinking protein shakes with berries or frozen bananas, soups, Greek yogurt and salads at night if needed. So far so good, 3 days in and down 1 kg. 28 days to go....I'll check back in a few weeks. If anyone else is going with destination beauty while I am there I would love to meet up and say hello at least. ???? Updated on 23 Mar 2018: So I weighed in this morning to a new low of 89.7 (197.7), which is awesome. On the other hand I am starting to freak out as the days close in. I went to my gyno yesterday and I made the mistake of having a iced quad espresso beforehand and if course she took my blood pressure. My heart was racing from that and I was freaking out about the surgery. My blood pressure was super high at 175/90 !!!! Da fuq! Anyways I've decided no more coffee until I leave and I need to calm down. I think it's more so I am doing this alone until 2 weeks after. Deep breathe in....deep breathe out... Updated on 30 Mar 2018: Just got my welcome email from the team in Bangkok. I'm still debating if I should buy the flyback coverage..any thoughts? Updated on 3 Apr 2018: So I left Tokyo today at 1050am and arrived 30 minutes late at 345pm. Exchanged money and went through immigration and grabbed my luggage. I had an issue finding the driver and I was the last one they were waiting on, so I felt bad. Arrived at the hotel around 6pm and checked into my room (added some photos of the room and what I look like today) . Received my pick up reminder...I have to be down at the lobby by 5am!!! Ewww...I've been up since 5am Tokyo time so needless to say I'm exhausted. I also have no idea what I need to pack for the hospital. I'm bringing all my valuables, things to occupy me, essentials like toothbrush and stuff, and will leave in the clothes I go there in. They will provide everything else I believe? Oh I also packed baby wipes, fem fresh wipes , stuff for my period because that's due next week, pair of socks, few undies (don't believe I need those) and a brush. The hotel will hold my big suitcase and I'll bring a small bag and my carry-on backpack. Next check in will be before surgery or after...I might be up first since I'm going so early. Eeeeeekkks I'm not even nervous which is weird. Updated on 5 Apr 2018: Ok so far the first two days were kind of a blur but day 3 is like night and day. Day 1 Woke up at 4am for my 5am ride to the hospital. They held my big suitcase and I took my valuables. Once you arrive they take your blood pressure, weight, you sign some papers and they do blood tests. My BP again was super high as my nerves were getting the best of me. Eventually they lead you upstairs to your room, you can unpack and they have you shower. The surgeon came in about 715am with a nurse and a DB representative. She marked me up and went over everything, I was told the biggest I could go would be 300 cc and she said I didn't need the lipo to flanks so my cost was less than I thought. She than said surgery was at 830 and it would be 8 to 9 hours long as I was her only patient. I was then wheeled into surgery and the anestesologist said it would feel like bees in my arm...but actually felt like bees in my head...last thing I remember. Woke up in ICU and spent the night on morphine and being woken up to check up and get meds. Day 2 Was given breakfast but had no appetite, was brought up to my room around 11am, and made comfy. More meds, antibiotics and saline. Lunch arrived and was spaghetti (no idea how I was going to eat that) but managed a few bites..no appetite. More sleep...dinner was a burger and fries ( again not in mood for heavy food) but ate the watermelon that came with it...and ate tea time cookies. Did manage to drink two bottles of water. Finally felt a little better and asked to get up...two nurses helped and I started to cry (no idea why) but I was able to walk to the bathroom, wash up down there and brush my teeth. Next more morphine and sleeping pill and night night. Day 3 Woke up at 430 am wide awake and starving!!! I guess that's a good sign..all they had was a piece of cake and hot chocolate haha I slowly ate the cake but the sugar helped.around 630 I walked around the ward a few times and at 8am breakfast came. Managed half the eggs and all the toast and juice. Then two nurses came in asking if I wanted a shower...hell ya..but not to wash my hair ????. They removed the catheter and I walked around some more and am currently sitting on the couch typing this up. My skin bags are still in the corner I'll ask to take pics of it when a nurse comes in as I'm curious. Oh and I have 5 drains (2 in boobs and 3 down there). I'll upload some pix once I'm able to. Updated on 6 Apr 2018: So yesterday I saw Dr. Angkana and my dresses were changed. Her stitch work is awesome and I was able to get a picture of my stomach and new belly button at least. My boobs look like torpedos lol I asked her if once they start to settle they will look more round and fill in...she said yes once I'm fitted for compression wear. I also got to see my bags of skin and fat from tummy, my lipo area and what she removed from my boobs which wasn't alot. Tummy = 2.7 kg Breasts = maybe 100 grams Lipo = 600 cc or .55 kg Total about 3.3 kg I added some pictures that I was able to snap yesterday. On a side note my hands have gone down a lot so I was able to put my ring back on and other jewelry. I thought I'd lose my nose piercing but it was still good 2 days later ( sure it helps I've had it for 14 years). Updated on 7 Apr 2018: I finally pooped!!!! Lol Sorry if TMI but your body doesn't like to poo right after surgery and the pain meds don't help. On a sad note I started my period 5 days early, so that is unpleasant..grrr. The poo relief is awesome though I was having some major cramping. Updated on 8 Apr 2018: My drains are slowing down finally and I had one removed yesterday from my mom's. It felt weird but didnt hurt. I am for some reason draining alot and have filled 7 different bottles that needed to be changed, better out than in though. Currently I have four drains and it's slowed down a lot which is nice, but I will most likely have to go to the hotel with all my drains ( not happy about that). Standing upright about 80% or so, am able to wash my hair in the kitchen sink in my room and wash up with baby wipes. I cannot wait to take a proper shower but that might not be until later in the week. Other than that nothing much to update on, but tomorrow I am getting discharged. Oh if you go through DB the ground floor has a great smoothie bar and a family Mart right across the road. We were all walking down there in our robes and slippers, drains hanging down, no one cares but the walk will do you good. Updated on 9 Apr 2018: So I'm being discharged today. I received a cute bag from DB as a gift ( will hold my drains nicely lol) and after care instructions etc. I need to be seen by the nurse and Dr before being discharged but last night they took all the gauze and tape off me except for the drain sites because I was itching like crazy!!! I was able to get a few pictures as I'm standing up more. On a happy note I weighed downstairs with my robe, food in my tummy and a ton of swelling and drains at 89.6. I'll take that...it should only go down from there. As I was writing this Dr. Angkana came in to check on me. Everything looks good but I'm still draining too much so they stay but I was given the OK to get my compression bra finally. I'll get the tummy one once the drains stop draining so much...less than 30 ml for a day or two. I had to be rebandaged up though...makes me feel like a mummy. I can't wait till I can actually shower... hopefully by the weekend. Using baby wipes and washing my hair in the sink is getting old...not to mention I have my period so I feel extra gross. Anyways next I'll get served lunch, get my bra, pack the little I brought to the hospital with me and I think get discharged around 2. As a side note, go down to the 1st floor when your mobile and want to walk and check out the smoothie bar..Soo good. There is also a family Mart and coffee shop there too. We all walked in our robes and slippers. Updated on 11 Apr 2018: So yesterday I over did it and I was sooooo swollen. Granted all I did was go to the hotel, unpack and went to dinner with a group of ladies across the street. My drains showed that this morning with lots of output. Just saw nurse aom and all my bandages were removed and I'm healing well. Now just to get these damn drains out!!!! Updated on 11 Apr 2018: My boob drains are out!!!!! Lol still have two in tummy but sooooo much easier to manage. Updated on 14 Apr 2018: I had those removed yesterday and was fitted with my sausage casing of a garmet. I will say I feel more together with it on, it's just a pain to do the clips at my crotch when I was to go to the bathroom. Boobs are starting to move and I'm so in love with them. I see Dr Ankana on the 17th to see about having some of myself titches out and have her check me out. Only issues I'm having is my left side is sore and swollen, but my right is fine. I just got the compression garmet yesterday so I'm hoping that helps, other wise I'll just take a pain pill at night so I can sleep. Oh and I'm sleeping on my right side...yay!! I will take some progress pictures tomorrow. Updated on 15 Apr 2018: My left side has gone down a bit and as I took the pictures it was before my shower so I have betadine all over. Anyways progress pictures...1 week and 5 days? Not bad. Also the other marks were reactions to some of the tape and those are healing. Updated on 17 Apr 2018: So for the past 3 days my left side in the crotch area was soooo sore and tight. They kept looking...no seroma as it wasnt jiggly...no infection etc. Last night I couldn't sleep at all...got up to pee at 830am...and when I stood up it felt like I was peeing on the floor. I walked to the bathroom and sat down on the toilet to have a pee and my stomach started to gush!!! I started to freak out but also pushed more fluid out at the same time. Bathroom looked like a murder scene.....ladies from DB came up and I was immediately brought to the hospital. The finished draining me and put me on an antibiotic drip, which I have to go for two more days. Now I have a big bulge where all the padding and stuff is to catch any more fluid. I can't wear my tummy garmet until it's done either, but already the left side feels sooooo much better. I'm just glad I wasn't at breakfast when it happened. I included one picture so you have an idea, but there was wayyy more. Maybe 500 cc of fluid. Scary morning Updated on 19 Apr 2018: So I'm feeling much better. I'm on my last day with the antibiotics drip and it's slowed down a lot. I just take a pad wear the leak is and use betadine on the hole to keep it clean etc. Nurse aom also told me to start wearing my tummy garmet again and it's made a huge difference. So hopefully a few more days and it's done. Best part is I can sleep now so past two night I've slept awesome. Boyfriend showed up on Wednesday which is good as all the ladies I made friends with pretty much have left as of yesterday. Anyways I'll update again Sunday, I'm getting my teeth cleaned and whitened....yay. Updated on 27 Apr 2018: So I just had my last follow up with the surgeon, and all looks good. The draining has slowed and she said I could start to close it up, which is awesome! So steri strips and some gauze to put over in case and it will probably take a week or two to fully close up. I was given more antibiotics and tramedol for pain ( I just get really sore on my left side and it helps take the edge off). I promise to take some pictures before I leave tonight haha. Other than the hole everything else is healing awesome. My boobs are starting to move and I measured myself yesterday out of curiosity and there was a 14 cm difference between bust and below my breasts or 5.5 inches. That would put me at a DD or E since I'm in Japan...85 DD OR E. They don't look that big at all...kinda hoping they aren't that big hahaha. Oh well will have a better idea in a few months. Our flight is at 1150pm tonight but were being picked up at 7pm in the lobby. It's a holiday weekend here I guess so between traffic and the holiday the airport is going to be insane. Awesome! Updated on 28 Apr 2018: Don't mind the leaky bandage I took it before changing.
