I went with a friend to Ideal Image to a meet and greet party. They offered a buy two syringe get one free on restalyne and 170 units of Dysport for 310
The total was 1310
I made an appointment to come back and have my forehead, glabbella and crows feet done with Dysport and my lips injected with the restalyne
The Dysport was a non issue , having had it before. But over time, my lips look like I’ve been a straw sucking smoke all of my life. And getting thinner. I wanted to change that.
I met with Dr.Shelton. She was kind and caring and very informative about The varieties and options of restalyne.
She looked at my face. Asked me what I was hoping to accomplish. She listened intently. Took pictures and applied a topical lidocaine and administered the Dysport and chatted with me while we waited for my lips to get numb
The first two sticks were the worst. Into the two points of the top lip. Whew. Only lasted a few seconds. Then she went to each side of my top lip and defined the vermillion edge.
She added .10cc with each injection and there was about 5 on either side of the top lip and 5 on each side of the bottom. She did put some at the corners, but upwards to help lift them
She was very patient, gentle and empathetic with each stick.
She brought in an ice pack and spoke to me for a while about what to expect and how to keep the swelling down.
She was wonderful and set a follow up appointment in two weeks.
I don’t have a before. But I do have an after.
There is minimal bruising and 5 hours later, a little bit of pain, not unlike having chapped lips. Ice is my friend right now.
So. I will post a post procedure and a two week afternoon photo.

Virtually pain free. I was surprised. I expected it to be painful and it wasn't bad at all.
Within a few days, my forehead began to smooth out, the "11" s between my eyes disappeared. My crows feet softened and were vastly diminished.
I looked refreshed, less stressed and not so angry
The office staff was friendly, empathetic and made me feel like I was the only patient. Dr. Shelton took her time with me, asked me whatbresults I was looking for and gave me some advice on what she thought would give me the result I was looking for. She was gentle, caring and informative.
