From my first phone call for a booking to the last consultation, I have had the BEST before, and after care from all the staff involved. Mr Snelling and the team were so lovely and went through procedure options going forward. I was very nervous and anxious of what was the best thing for me. We went with the implant swap option and I couldn't be more happier of the outcome. Just want to say a Big Thank you to all the staff.
MrSnelling was brilliant throughout the whole process. He is very reassuring and amazing at explaining questions in an understandable way. Not only is he a lovely person but his work is incredible, I couldn't be happier! You have changed my life, thank you MrSnelling :).
Doctor Snelling, as far as I am concerned, was the most professional PS I have ever seen. Great bedside manner, explained everything to me, the good side and the bad, totally trusted his judgement and honesty. I didn't feel embarrassed, well maybe a little, at first, but he picked up on that and dealt with it accordingly. I am totally satisfied and very pleased with the way my chest looks now, third time lucky. He's the best.
Hi there - thanks for your posts.Looking at your photos and that you mention your breasts are heavy and drooping, it sounds like you'd be looking at a breast lift (mastopexy) surgery. This improves the shape of the breast and lifts up the whole breast and nipple. The downside of this is scars - you'd probably need a scar around the nipple and down the front of the breast. For some people, its a good exchange - better breast shape for scars but for other people, these scars are out of the question. You really need to see a Plastic surgeon who can examine you fully and talk to you at length about what you want. Ask to see some before and after photographs so you can gauge for yourself what you feel about scars.Good luck!
Hi there. Thanks for your post. These look like hypertrophic scars, are they itchy and red? Although not uncommon, you would expect these to burn out although this can take a year or two.In my opinion it's worth trying to work out any contributing factors (eg tension) before considering revision. Surgical revision is possible but should be combined with careful scar management therapies and close follow-up as there is a real risk of recurrence. I would suggest consulting with a board certified surgeon who can discuss your options after examining you. Good luck!
