I had liposuction in 2010 to the lower abdomen and because of this had a large step of fat on my upper abdomen which I noticed straight after my liposuction procedure in 2010.. Over the years I had put on some weight and it was worse .. I also had fat on my hips and back.. I also had a umbilical hernia which was tiny but made me feel ugly.. I had seen a few plastic surgeons but none of them wanted to do the hernia repair or liposuction at the same time .. I went to Paris twice to see a plastic surgeon and he agreed to Do my operation. I am a nurse and work at Parkside hospital in Wimbledon and immediately thought about having a consultation with Mr Andrew Fleming who also works at St. George’s NHS Hospital in London and is a clinical director of surgery. I was glad I went to see him. he checked my skin everything and took his time . I immediately knew that he was going to do my surgery .. I will post some pictures pre op and post op .. and add some more information .pre operative weight 71 kg. Height 1.66 .my normal weight is 67 kg. Updated on 30 Apr 2018: I did not feel too bad the next day just discomfort more than anything. I had to wear my binder ..I left the hospital the next day.. Updated on 30 Apr 2018: I have not needed to take any analgesia as I only have discomfort . I have had a bit of heartburn which I am sure is due to the Garment and binder . My Colombian friend fitted one of her fajas to me which has helped a lot , on top of this I am wearing my macom binder. I removed my dressing on my bellybutton today and was quite scared as my bellybutton I had before the op was very ugly due to the hernia . Wow my bellybutton was now normal and small !! I am so pleased it’s very nice .. I am still swollen but have noticed that I am much smaller than before .. I am hoping that my skin on the upper abdomen will retract back in place .. I have been to see so many surgeons for this operation but none of them could do this operation? I had made an appointment to have the operation in Paris but that changed when I went to see Mr Andrew Fleming for a consultation . He is highly experienced and works in the NHS in St Georges hospital in London and is Clinical director of surgery. I knew that I had made the right decision before the operation. .. He came to see me in the evening after the operation and again the next morning. I am also going to see him on Wednesday which will be a week post op.. Updated on 18 Jun 2018: This is a quick update will post photos this week . Well I am almost two months post op and have recently left my binder off and still have some swelling . I now have put it back on .. I am due to travel in 2 weeks for a holiday but will most likely cancel it as I think due to the swelling and pain it will be better to fully recover before lying in the heat .. Apart from this I have been eating healthy meals ..I now weigh 68,5 kg .. I was previously 71.5 kg ..
