The photos you’ve shown look very early post operatively. Scars do contract and sometimes the umbilicus narrows as this occurs. So I would recommend patience and review with your surgeon at 6 months.Kind regards
Hi thereI think you’re displaying what we call a snoopy or waterfall deformity with the breast tissue dropping off the implant. It’s hard to ascertain from photos, but either the lift needed to be more aggressive, or the implants are sitting too high. This is one of the common issues after a combined lift/augmentation and is one of the reasons why surgeons feel a safer and more controlled approach is to do a lift first and implants 6 months later.Having said that, it’s usually reasonably easy to correct by either lowering the implants (and maybe adding a matrix to support them) or revising the lift. What has your initial surgeon recommended?Hope this helps
I think with a lift alone you would keep a similar volume with an improved shape. A small implant could give you some more volume but you might find with a well done lift that isn’t necessary. An alternative option for modest volume augmentation would be fat grafting.
It does sounds like capsular contractor but an in person consultation is important to fully assess you.Sounds like there may be a couple of issues here. Breast changes after breast feeding, as well as CC. Revision surgery in general is more complex and may involve more that just capsule removal and implant exchange. Any New Zealand plastic surgeon with an interest in breast surgery would be able to talk you through things in detail after an examination. Best of luck!
Hi there,The limitation of liposuction is the excess skin (thanks to your four cherubs). Removing fat without skin would give you a more "baggy", deflated tummy appearance so in my hands definitely a tummy tuck! All the best.
