I've been having problems for a while, dryness, pain, lack of interest, bladder - all of the above. I would consider myself a really healthy person otherwise, but this was definitely out of my control. I started to research possible solutions and came across their office. It took me a while to make the call because I was a little embarrassed and honestly kind of skeptical. I'm so glad I did, it has changed my life! From the first call to the last treatment, I was treated with a true compassionate understanding of what I was going through and never felt insecure or judged. Jacqueline answered every one of my questions and made me feel like I was cared for. Literally, everything she said was exactly how she explained it. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm not longer peeing my pants, my sex life and my marriage are better than they have ever been! I truly owe it all to Jacqueline and the Diva treatment!
I'm 54 years old. Breast cancer survivor. I have 3 boys. I went through surgical menopause in 2014. I have struggled with leakage over the years. Since menopause I have had experienced vaginal dryness. After one treatment I noticed significant changes in both areas. I rarely wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The sense of urgency and actually not quite making it to the bathroom is gone! I am not making a whole group of people stop and find a bathroom for me on outings!! The vaginal dryness has totally resolved. Sensation is increased as well!! I have now had all 3 treatments. The numbing process did what it was supposed to do. I felt very comfortable through all 3 procedures. After I experienced some watery discharge for a day or 2 after. I would highly recommend Diva. It really, honestly has changed my life!
I have completed three diVa treatments and am thrilled with the results! I'm 45 years old and have had two children vaginally. I used to have a slight incontinence issue, and it is now completely resolved - I can comfortably laugh in public and do not have to rush to the bathroom every morning in fear of not making it in time. I have never had any major problems with lubrication but I definitely welcome the improvement! Although the benefits of the diVa have been rewarding, my recovery periods were very challenging. After each treatment, I had about 1-2 weeks of bleeding and discharge. The bleeding was substantial enough to require a maxi pad. The discharge was very discolored (a mixture of green, brown, and yellow) and had a pungent odor. It was embarrassing to wear large pads and to smell for that amount of time. I would recommend the diVa treatment to other women with the advice that recovery time is different for everyone and can be very uncomfortable.
New products are available to patients at Women First OB/GYN in the field of laser technology such as diVa laser vaginal therapy, Forever Young BBL laser therapy for brightening and tightening of the skin, and halo hybrid fractional laser therapy to treat large pores, sun damage, texture, scar revision and more on the face and body. I have personally chosen to start my treatment with Forever Young BBL. The treatment was fairly quick, and targeted sun damage, hair removal on chin and upper lip, and some hemangiomas--small vascular red spots. After one treatment my sunspots under my eyes are nearly gone. I can not detect any visible sign under one eye and barely see any under the side most exposed to the sun. My skin looks smoother, and the hemangioma on my face are significantly lighter. I am looking forward to my next session. Dr. Andrea Schiller and laser technician Jacqueline are very well trained and offer valuable advice as to what best works for customized individual treatment.
Hi there, thank you for your question. I think they both have their place. Micro Laser Peel, simply put is 100% ablation of the top layers of skin. Halo Hybrid utilizes two different wavelengths, one of which is the same wavelength as the MLP, but on a fractional level. Combined, they are the best at achieving a more multi-faceted benefit. Halo can attend to discoloration, texture, pores, fine lines and collagen rejuvenation all in one treatment. You would have to decide which is most important to you, either resurfacing or rebuilding. As always, go to a reputable provider that will have your best interest in mind. Hope this helps!

Its overall performance and long term efficacy are second to none. We chose diVa based on the science and capability to deliver. Our office has successfully treated many post menopausal women with amazing resullts! Hope this helps!
Intense Pulse light (IPL) and BroadBand Light (BBL) are similarly both light emitted from a laser source. The difference is the way in which the wavelength is distributed and absorbed by the skin. Intense Pulse Light is just as is sounds, the wave of light intensely goes up, then intensely drops. BroadBand Light is more of a scatter and even distribution of energy. In my opinion, BroadBand light is much more effective with less room for unpredictable complications.
Any woman who is having problems with Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) or a leaky bladder, Vaginal Dryness caused by a loss of estrogen, menopause or chemotherapy treatments or suffering from Vaginal Laxity after childbirth are all optimal candidates for DiVa.
There have been no adverse effects reported. DiVa is very safe and effective. It is the world's first and only Hybrid Fractional Laser.
