Just had MyEllevate with precision TX done today. The doctor numbed me very well, barely felt any pain! Only pressure and tugging. My photos show how my chin looked before procedure and then directly after procedure. Need to wear chin strap 24/7 for 3 days and collar 24/7 for 10 days. Will f/u with after photos soon. Updated on 10 Dec 2024: Swelling/numbness/bruising 4 days out but feeling positive about it. Icing & Advil, wearing chin strap when home and collar at all times. The incisions are very small & healing well according to my husband. Updated on 17 Dec 2024: Great results one week post-op! Still have numb areas and soreness which will last awhile as area heals. I stopped Advil after 10 days since discomfort is tolerable although it wakes me up at x’s middle of night when on my side - lying on back seems to be best position for comfort. As I’ve read elsewhere, it really does feel like wearing a party hat with a tight strap but a good feeling since results from it are miraculous. Several lumps along submental area where surgeon worked and the area feels fuzzy & very strange to touch. Normal side effects that will entirely subside over several weeks. Using Cerave on neck to keep well moisturized, using light upward strokes to massage.
Around 12 years old my breasts developed rapidly and I was a DD by the end of 6th grade and they grew more and more over time. This gave me lots of back issues which led me to gain a lot of weight due to lack of excess because the back pain was so bad at times. Last year when I turned 21 I weighed about 230lbs and my bra size was 42H/42I so I decided to try and get a breast reduction. On March 7th 2023 I had my surgery and it was the best choice I ever made. My back feels great and am able to do more now. I have never had surgery that I can remember but I do have a scar on my chest from open heart surgery I had as an infant so I thought I was prepared to see the results for the first time after the breast reduction. But when I first took off my bandages 48 hours after surgery to take a shower the bruising, swelling and mostly the nipple area threw me off a little and I felt a little faint seeing it all due to it being a little overwhelming but didn’t regret getting the surgery and I still don’t. My incisions have healed so well and my back pain is gone allowing me to do more things that I want. I was between a 42H and 42I right before my surgery and I am now a 42D. Updated on 14 Apr 2023: More photos through the healing process with dates on them, back still feels great don’t regret the surgery at all……………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Updated on 10 Oct 2023: I had my surgery on March 7, 2023 and it is now October 9, 2023 7 months later and I could not be happier with the results. My back pain has completely gone away and the scarring on my breasts have healed nicely. I had some keloid scarring (which runs in my family) around the 3rd or 4th month but most of it has reduced. Some of the keloiding is still noticeable mostly around the nipple area but as time passes the scars have flattened more. The surgeon had to take more out during the surgery on the right side of my breast which left a small incision that has also healed nicely. The surgery has helped me greatly and wish I had gotten it years ago. Updated on 20 Apr 2024: It’s been about a year since I made this post. And the healing process has been great! I am very happy with the remarkable care and results I received from Dr. Andrea Doyle and her team. It has been one year since I underwent breast reduction surgery, and the transformation has been life-changing. It has helped significantly with my back pain, it’s easier to find clothes that fit properly and I can exercise easier now. My incisions have healed nicely and the recovery has been a breeze! The clinic's staff was always friendly, and supportive, making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering this or similar procedures.
After 2 previous breast implant surgeries (550 CC in 2014, 330 and lift in 2017) I was beyond ready to have my implants removed. They were still too large for me and made me look heavier, caused pain, and made it difficult to wear any cute clothes. After researching local surgeons I found Dr. Doyle. I met with her and had another consultation scheduled elsewhere that I decided to cancel. Dr. Doyle spent as much time with me as I needed and explained things very well. She actively listened and remembered details each time I spoke to her. The office is nice, the staff is nice and quick to respond. The price was significantly better than I was expecting overall. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is the hospital of choice for the procedure would not be my top pick.
63 yo with a lifelong history of yo yo weight loss. Maintained an 80 lb weight loss for a number of years...plant based diet and lots of exercise still left me with large tummy area. Prepared for the surgery with careful attention to diet and fitness and boy did it pay off! Super smooth recovery and thrilled with my results. Clothes fit so much better and I am much more agile. Was able to start walking (other than around the house) 2 weeks post op. Back to full exercise routine after 6 weeks. Scar is fading nicely. Dr. Doyle and staff are amazing !!!!
Dr.Doyle and her staff are excellent. She listens carefully to your concerns and makes treatment options clear. I had eyelid surgery that presented complications due to the lack of integrity of connective tissue in one eye. She dealt with this very difficult situation in a highly skilled manner and did several revisions in her office to make it perfect. I do not usually write reviews, Dr.Doyle is, without a doubt, an excellent surgeon and should be recognized as such.
Dr. Doyle and her staff are the greatest! They immediately put me at ease, as I was a little nervous and her expertise and her thorough manner of explaining exactly what she was preparing to do made the experience much less daunting for me. The staff made me very comfortable and made sure I had no questions when I left and assured me if I thought of anything to ask later on, my call would be welcomed and answered promptly...I would recommend Dr Doyle to anyone, anyday
From my first consultation with dr.doyle I knew she was the one I wanted to do my breast reduction she was so welcoming and explained everything in detail.i was at her office twice then she saw me before surgery and made all my worries go away Im 2 days post op and I already look fabulous and gave very minimal pain. I recommend de Doyle a 10x over
I'm so happy!!!!! I went to see Andrea Doyle based on another review I seen on realself and I am so happy I did!! I had tear through filler a little over two weeks ago and I look a million times more awake!! I've been getting so many "you look really rested" you look great lately" comments and doing my makeup in the morning honestly takes half the time! The best part was I had no bruising and only very mild swelling, two hours after my injections I met my mother for coffee and she still has no idea I've done anything! I returned to work the very next afternoon and looked completely normal to the outside person. I was the only one that could notice the small amount of swelling I had. I feel like over the two weeks the results just kept looking better and better! I am very happy with this experience and wish I'd done it sooner, I was so sick of everyone telling me I looked tired all the time.. after I'd gotten 8 hours of sleep and felt great. Those words can really mess up your day. Anyway Andrea was fantastic! She evaluated me without making me feel unattractive. She used a cannula and very gently split one vile of Restylane between both eyes. I had no pain at all, not even the next day! I understand this varies between people but for me the entire experience was very smooth and I was very happy with this! I will definitely be going back! =)
After doing everything under the sun to try to look rested I decided to get filler in my tear troughs. Before the procedure I looked chronically exhausted!! I'd done everything possible to improve the look of my under eyes. I'd go to bed early, drink tons of water and try every product under the sun to no avail, that's when i knew it was time for filler. Before the procedure began, numbing cream was applied to the treatment area. Dr. Doyle took the time to explain why my eyes appeared so tired and the structure of the eyes that was changing due to the aging process. Not only did I have a hollow appearance but I also had some fat that was outpouching under the eye. The procedure was done using a cannula to place the product exactly where it needed to be and it was surprisingly quite tolerable. Dr Doyle took her time and at no time did I feel rushed. In total, I had 1.5cc Restylane placed. I did have some swelling the next day but within a week everything settled down. I am very pleased with the end result and will definitely do it again. I am one happy lady!
I loved Dr. Doyle. She has a great attitude and she she doesn't sugar coat anything. She told me everything I would expect and I felt well informed. She genuinely cares for her patients and it shows. I am so happy with my results and for the first time since I was 15 years old I finally feel like I have normal breasts! Thank you Dr. Doyle, you made me so happy!
Once the fat cells are destroyed they are not going to come back. However, excess weight gain in the future can cause new fat cells to emerge, and this could result in the reappearance of a double chin.
Bruising and swelling are common side effects after an injection. I recommend that my patients take Arnica tablets after injection to help with the bruising and swelling. But always check with your board-certified injector prior to initiating therapy.
This is a great question! Both products are FDA approved and equally as safe and effective. Choosing between Dysport and Botox can also be a matter of preference for either the person receiving the treatment or the board-certified surgeon performing the procedure.
You should definitely speak with your surgeon and make him/her aware of the situation. You do want to make sure your body is completely rid of any and all infection to ensure proper healing and prevent post operative issues.
Most patients will return to work in one week after having a breast augmentation, with a little quicker recovery time if the implants are placed above the pectoralis muscle. My patients can resume moderate physical activity, such as walking, one week after surgery. More vigorous aerobic activity and weight lifting should be avoided for six weeks. At work, no one should notice that you've had a breast augmentation if your goal is to achieve a natural looking result. Andrea M. Doyle, MD East Greenwich, RI
