Hey! This review will be about a chemical peel I've looked into and finally decided to take the chance with. It's called the Apeele. My face is in a state after I've found the treatment for my severe acne. I'm looking for a way to get rid of the dark marks and hyper-pigmentation. I'm 21 and i've suffered with acne since I was about 14. It's only gotten worse over the years no matter what I used or what I was prescribed. Even natural treatments. I believe It became more severe when I got on the birth control nexplanon. Finally around July 2016 i went to a dermatologist who has ultimately given me back my confidence. She placed me on a dosage of spironolactone and I've used Epiduo and Aczone. They contain some of the same chemicals that are in a chemical peel, however, those work over time. Yes I am happy with my results thus far with the topical but I was looking for a faster solution. After a lot a research I chose to go with a chemical peel and one that I could see a dramatic difference with. The esthetician suggested the Apeele and I said let's do it! I am African American so I wanted to make sure that whatever peel I did choose, it worked well with ethnic skin types. It's only day one so I will continue to make updates throughout the days. I have before and after photos of what my skin looked like before the dermatologist prescribed me anything. And after photos a year later. Those are 3 photos of what my skin looks like now before the I even got the peel applied today, but there's no change within the 3 hrs I've had it on.
My experience with Dr. Anayo was outstanding! The facility is very clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I was seen for a cosmetic treatment and I am so in love with my results!! I would highly recommend her to anyone considering cosmetic treatment. She was very thorough and explained every process of my procedure. I could not have asked for a better experience.
Botox can be used in the neck to relax the vertical neck bands or the Platysma muscle as well as the horizontal neck lines. It will not affect any thyroid malfunction that you already have. I will advise that you get a consultation with your cosmetic provider for realistic expectation before proceeding.
Thank you for your question. Botox pricing can vary, depending on the area you live in the country, the number of providers that are injectors in the area, how deep your wrinkles are and how many areas of concern that you have. It will be better to have a consultation first. Average cost is usually between $9 to $15 a unit in the area that I practice, which is in GA. Glabeller lines which are usually the '11s' may cost up to $220- $260.
There is definitely no contradiction taking Cymbalta and having a MonaLisa touch procedure. The procedure is used to treat Vaginal atrophy, dryness, dyspareunia and vaginal rejuvenation in general. It has no effect on Cymbalta.
Hi Kate, You should not be uncomfortable with Botox, its now been the 15th year of injecting Botox in the US. Your forehead wrinkles according to the photo you showed is not a lot. You can easily get away with 10 to 12 units of Botox, but first you will need to schedule a consultation with a board certified physician that has been in aesthetic practice, read the reviews and visit websites with before and after photos. I am sure you will be happy with the results. Good luck.
Hi Joey, Laxity of the vagina and introitus can occur from vaginal delivery or to be part of natural ageing process. Vaginal laxity may be a bothersome condition to patients that may impact on “happiness and sexual function”. Thanks to the effective action of the D-Pulse, MonaLisa Touch® improves and replaces also the most common techniques for treating vaginal relaxation due to a loss of tone of vaginal mucosa. When inserted in the vagina by using the special probe of the HiScan V2LR scanning system, the laser acts directly on the mucosa of the walls, tightening, reshaping, toning and stimulating tissue and regenerating collagen. In my experience Women have noticed some degree of vaginal tightening especially after the second and third treatment, you may need another touch up treatment 6 months later. I do not believe that vaginal laxity has a part to play with keeping up an erection. Monalisa Touch is worth trying in this situation , unless you want to go to a more surgical approach.
