Dear abari3600,see there are sometimes 90 % or more chances of your composite bonding coming off with the braces cement when the dentist will take off the braces, as the composite with which we fix the bracket to your tooth surface will stick to your build-up done on that tooth with composite too due to stress created to debond the bracket form your tooth surface the bonding will also come off.............. but that happens you can not say whether it will stay or will it come off..............if it will come off go for rebonding and this time do not get composite bonding instead go for COPONEERS --- there are composite veneers -- they are durable they are repairable and they are very cheap as to porcelain veneers............ do read about them and ask your dentist about them...........any questions feel free to ask me....regardsDr Amit
Yes a componeer can be shaved down and then you can polish it to get the gloss back on it
Hi, I am Dr Amit ,see the best thing is go for zirconia abutments for your implants now and then on them go for zirconia all porcelain crowns of 3M-LAVA they are strong enough for posterior teeth -- i have given for some of my patients and results are good. see the problem you are facing is not uncommon and if it arises then this is the only best solution regards Dr Amit Goswami.
Dear Jess, Hello I am Dr. Amit Goswami, from Delhi Dental Center in New Delhi India. the 1st thing is all-on-4 is all-on-4 till the time you have all 4 implants with your self -- if you loose any one on them then it become none-on-3.................... see the best thing you should do is instead of the replacement of your failed implant -- add some more implants to your bone -- see when we take out an implant too much of bone around it will also has to be sacrificed along with the implant ... now even if you place a immediate implant there with bone graft ... the bone will not be strong enough ............. get 2 more implants in your jaw bone -- now with these new implants you will have 6 implants and the support will be good enough for the prosthesis -- then tendency of further fractures will go down ........ next thing when you will get new set of teeth get a lower night guard made for your self as i think that you might have a clenching habit at night time because of which you had cracks in your prosthesis again and again............ regards Dr AMIT.
Hello, I am Dr. Amit Goswami I have seen you x-ray and it seems you can get 5 to 6 implants per arch. I would recommend that in total you get: 12 implants in both arch. bone grafting where ever required. sinus lift if required in upper jaw PRF ( Platlet Rich Factor. ) upper and lower fixed denture -- hybrid denture made on a titanium bar.
