Dr. Malihan is caring, generous, and most of all - honest. She will never push you into doing anything that she doesn't truly believe will serve you well. I've been a long time patient, and would never go anywhere else. I love Dr. Malihan and her staff!
Tune out all of the boasting and bragging by different surgeons and ask yourself how you would imagine your perfect nose to look like. No one knows your face better than you, after all. If you know how to medically describe what you want, for example by stating that you want a refined tip or a narrowed bridge for instance, that is wonderful. If not, bringing in a picture of your desired nose is recommended so that you and the surgeon are both on the same page. From there, the surgeon will determine whether or not your desired nose is suited to your face, or how similar a result they can achieve. Again, go with your gut feeling. Good luck!
Most of the swelling from surgery would have subsided ( by 80%-90%) by now. Did you have a "mini" abdominoplasty or a full/standard abdominoplasty? Ask your plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Absorbable sutures in general are not used in upper eyelid surgery unless there is an added procedure performed on the eyelid for droopy eyelids (tosis). It takes about 60-90 days for absorbable sutures to be completely absorbed by our body.
