I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Allison. This was my first time getting Botox and not my last. Dr. Allison explained everything step by step before we started. She was so gentle and the injections were not as I feared they would be. My first experience with Botox was much better than I imagined. I'm a very expressive talker, always raising my eyebrows and making facial expressions especially in photos. I had imagined that my face would actually not be able to move at all; that my face would look "frozen." After a day or so my results started to set in and I LOVE the outcome. My wrinkles are gone but I still have plenty of expression. Since having Botox I have had so many people who know me tell me I look refreshed and ask “Are you doing something different?” I’m bragging that I got Botox to everyone. Dr. Melancon is a great doctor!. This was the best result I ever got from a botox treatment. I looked tired and angry, when I wasn't! She knew exactly how much I needed to achieve the best results, and knew precisely where to place it. She suggested my eye area to create an all-over more youthfull look. I immediately started receiving compliments on my hair and weight, when my face was the only change, so I did not look like I had work done. Dr. M Followd up to make sure I was satisfied with the results. I am happy with how long it lasted; after 8 months I will only need touch ups. I felt at ease because she is an MD. She is knowledgeable and I highly recommend her!
Dr Allison is truly one of a kind. She takes time to explain ALL procedures. She explains all the pros and cons of each treatment so that I can make an independent and infirmed decision, without feeling pressured. I drove from Metairie all the way to Covington as a "last ditch effort" for a dentist to give me time and not feel like I'm another number or paycheck. Dr. Allison took me in as though I was family and fixed what previous dentists could not. I will definitely make that drive anytime I need dental work. Highly recommended!!!
