Dr. Foulad performed a deep plane neck lift for me and his care and expertise were unmatched. He was always available for day to day updates and would help assuage any concerns that I had before or after the procedure. He works tirelessly to make you feel and look your best and I would reccomend Dr. Foulad to any friend who was looking for facial plastic sugery. My results are undetectable and flawless!
My experience with Dr. Foulad and his office has been nothing but AWESOME! From my very first consultation, he made me feel comfortable and explained everything with great detail. He is a perfectionist and very meticulous in achieve the best results for all his patients. He used the fractional CO2 laser on my face and my skin now looks much more even and refreshed. Recently, I decided to have Dr. Foulad perform a lip lift. Over the decades, the space between my nose and lip had increase drastically. I didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror or in photos. Although I was really nervous, I trusted that Dr. Foulad would do a great job, and he did! My lips look beautiful and natural.I highly recommend him for any of services he provides. Dr. Foulad and his office receive 5+ stars from me! Updated on 19 Mar 2025: Over the past several years, I didn’t notice myself. Initially, I couldn’t figure out what was so different, besides aging. But then I noticed that the space between the lower part of my nose and upper part of my lip had length drastically. I understood that lip lifts shorten the space between the lower part of the nose and the upper part of the lip.Since Dr. Foulad performed a Fractional CO2 laser over my whole face, and I was very happy with the results, I asked him performed lip lifts. Luckily, he did. So I made the decision to have him perform my lip lift. Since a picture says 1000 words, I added it my before and after photos so you could see the difference.
If anyone is in Southern California or wants to fly there for a procedure, you must use Dr. Foulad (in Beverly Hills). He is unequivocally, the best facial plastic surgeon! He is so thorough, kind, approachable, and meticulous in every aspect. He works with you every step of the way and has an amazing staff. My necklift results are extraordinary (I look ten years younger) and you can't see any scars! It's been two years now and I'm thankful every day for having the guts to have done this and to have worked with Dr. Foulad.
I had been considering a deep plane facelift for a few years. After researching reviews on multiple platforms, I came across Dr. Foulad's name and was thoroughly impressed by the glowing recommendations. I decided to make the call, and I'm so glad that I did. Despite my hectic work schedule, Dr. Foulad accommodated me by scheduling a meeting for the following Saturday. From that initial call, I was impressed by the prompt response from the practice manager, Chelsea. Dr. Foulad dedicated a substantial amount of time to discuss my expectations and potential results. His precision and professionalism left me extremely impressed and confident in his ability to deliver. Taking the plunge and trusting him to operate on me was the best decision I've made. I couldn't be more pleased with the results; I look very natural and like a refreshed, younger version of myself. My acquaintances have even asked if I've lost weight, but none have suspected that I had surgery, and that is precisely the outcome I desired. Dr. Foulad has been diligent in checking on my progress, seeing me multiple times to ensure proper healing, and regularly texting me with follow-up instructions. I highly recommend Dr. Foulad and his staff.
I had a deep plane facelift with Dr. Foulad and couldn’t be happier. By the time I had an initial consultation with him, I had already done a lot of research and met with a few other surgeons who did deep plane. As soon as I met with Dr. Foulad I knew he was the right one. During the consultation he spent a lot of time answering questions, asking me questions about what I wanted and expected, describing his plan and what the surgery would entail. His attention to detail was clear every step of the way, which made me feel confident I was in the best hands possible. I wasn’t a cookie-cutter case, and he took all my concerns into consideration. His team was also great from the surgery coordinator, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologist – all went out of their way to make things easy and comfortable for me. Right now I’m one month out, and my healing process timeline was exactly as Dr. Foulad predicted. I’m absolutely thrilled with the results, and I know it will only continue to get better from here. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a surgeon especially for a deep plane facelift.
I always knew that I needed to get a chin implant if I wanted a more balanced face - and all the other professionals did too! The first time I tried lip injections, the NP took one look at me and was like, "Oh, lip injections won't make up for your weak chin, you'll need an implant for that." Which was completely unsolicited but also, very true. But here's the thing. While it's true that it's VERY important to make sure you're emphasizing quality over cost, especially with any procedures that touch your face in particular, I also didn't want to have to pay an excessive amount just because a surgeon's in love with their own brand, you know what I mean? So I did some research, and I came across Dr. Foulad - what immediately intrigued me was his no-nonsense approach to chin implant surgery with local anesthesia, which I vastly prefer over general anesthesia when possible. And all the reviews you read about him are TRUE! His clinic: located in Beverly Hills, almost tucked away in a corner of a beautiful building, but it's very clean, well kept. I was worried that parking would be an issue around that area, but I was able to find both free parking and metered parking easily in all the appointments I've had there. His staff are super affable and kind - they just make every interaction smooth and most importantly, they are EFFICIENT. I've never really had to wait, except for when of course, I arrived too early. They get you in and out ASAP, which I love. Dr. Foulad himself is incredibly knowledgeable, and HONEST. He will tell you all the risks, all the solutions for those risks, and lay out exactly what to expect so you're not caught off guard. I LOVE that when we first had an in-person meeting, he straight up told me that a neck liposuction procedure probably wouldn't change much for me, and that weight loss would do the same thing. That's when I knew I could really trust his judgment. He is a plastic surgeon with a vision, through and through. Not a salesman. The chin implant surgery itself wasn't too bad at all. I followed their clear-cut instructions to the letter, and the only painful part really, was the anesthesia shots (of course). But I will say that even as drowsy as I was during the procedure, I really appreciated that he went all out in making sure that I was numb. As for the aftermath, if you do decide to go through with one, PLEASE TRUST DR. FOULAD'S WORDS AND THE RECOVERY PROCESS! I promise it will look horrific at first because your face is SO SWOLLEN in a way you didn't know it could swell. But now I really could not be any happier with my face. It's incredible how subtle the transformation is, but HOW MUCH it changes my overall appearance!! Dr. Foulad made sure to get my preferences, but ultimately I went with his advice and I do not regret it one bit. He will know exactly what you need, what he can and cannot do (and will be more than willing to be upfront about that), and that is the expertise I'm really looking for. He even altered the implant shape a bit during the procedure because it was a little too wide for my face!! As for the recovery, his instructions are meticulous and yes, he really does offer his cell phone so you can text or call him - I never had to, but HE called me!! Twice!! And I think that just really shows how much he understands the fragile nature of a recovery process as a physician. I deeply appreciate that. I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Foulad and his incredible team, and I would highly recommend him. Also: my friend did not notice what was different, but he DID say that my bottom lip looks poutier as a result. So I don't think I'll need those injections anymore. ;)
I just turned 52 and wanted to look refreshed not like I just had work done. On my first visit with Dr Foulad and we discussed what I wanted and what would be best treatment for me. He was straight forward on what the process was going to be and what to except after. We decided that a deep plane lower facelift with extension to midface and neck lift with platysmaplasty would be the best treatment for the results that I wanted. I had some bleeding in my ear area, Dr Foulad took time to see me in his office everyday and had me do treatments to make the healing time less. He even saw me the morning that I flew back home. I had the best experience, Dr Foulad and all of his staff we all amazing and went above and beyond. Dr Foulad is very caring about you as a patient and the final result. I highly recommend him and will be using him again in the future.
I’m very happy with Dr. Foulad and his staff. He really exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with the results of my Alarplasty! Dr. Foulad is very meticulous and very ambitious to achieve the best results for the patient, he’s very friendly and not arrogant, it’s like talking to a friend and he’s very knowledgeable. The office (Chelsea and Sarah) is extremely quick in answering questions and scheduling me for follow-up appointments like no other medical office. Thanks s office deserves 5 stars!
I am just recovering from a neck lift and plane facelift Dr Foulad and his staff are amazing. I am an RN and researched who would be the best at a plane facelift ( natural looking not pulled back to look tight) This man pays attention to every detail. He requires all kinds of medical clearances ( that’s important for safety factors). The whole procedure was uneventful thanks to his knowledge base along with his staff I am still only 4 days in but I can already see the results of his excellent work I will follow with my results once healed but he is highly recommended!!!
For the past 5 years I have been meticulously researching to find the right plastic surgeon for my neck and lower face. I literally consulted with over 20 top notch and well-known doctors in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills area including referrals within the celebrity community and friends. When I met Dr. Allen Foulad in his office in Beverly Hills his gentleness, intelligence and knowledge, his impressing assessment of my face structure and skin characteristics explaining in great detail the different options and showing examples of his work of what to expect after surgery, and most importantly establishing upfront the element of trust and confidence were convincing reasons that he is the one. But the real evidence is the result; as picky as I am the results majorly surpassed and exceeded my expectations as it is a flawless work performed by a perfectionist. The care and the attention after the surgery to make sure I can ride through the anxiety period with calmness and comfort was such a critical piece in making the entire process as painless as possible and now leaving me with many years of pleasure when I look at myself in the mirror. He is the Chosen One.
Resistance to botulinum toxins (such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin) can occur if neutralizing antibodies develop. This is noticed when a patient initially responds well to botulinum toxin for the treatment of wrinkles, but then experiences a decreased effect or no effect after subsequent treatments. It is believed that higher doses and more frequent treatments of botulinum toxin can increase the chance of forming neutralizing antibodies. However, there are reports of patients developing neutralizing antibodies even with small doses and infrequent treatments. It is also theorized that “complexing proteins” present in many botulinum toxin formulations can increase the risk of forming neutralizing antibodies. Xeomin is marketed as being free from complexing proteins, and there is significant evidence to suggest that Xeomin is associated with decreased risk of formation of neutralizing antibodies. However, if you have already developed antibodies to one of the botulinum toxin type A drugs, there is a likelihood the antibodies will neutralize the other botulinum toxins in this same type A family. Even so, it is reasonable to try a trial of a different botulinum toxin to truly confirm the effect. There is a botulinum toxin type B drug in the United States called MyoBloc. Although this botulinum toxin is a different serotype, studies have shown many patients that have already formed antibodies to botulinum type A can quickly form antibodies to MyoBloc. In addition, MyoBloc is approved for use in cervical dystonia and not FDA approved for cosmetic use. It should be noted that developing antibodies to botulinum toxin is infrequent. Improper placement, too low of a dose, or over-dilution can result in decreased treatment effect. It is important to be confident that your injector is skilled and using proper products in order to achieve an effective, long-lasting result. Best of luck, Allen Foulad MD
The nasal obstruction you describe can be due to various reasons. A physical exam involving visualization of the inside of your nose would provide more information regarding the source of your nasal obstruction. You mentioned your septum appears to be deviated to the right side, and this can be part or all of the of the reason for your nasal obstruction. A revision septoplasty can be performed if indicated. An exam and history would also provide information on whether your inferior turbinates are causing nasal obstruction. The inferior turbinates are structures inside your nose that can become enlarged/swollen/inflamed due to reason such as allergies. If the inferior turbinates are enlarged, they can obstruct the airflow through your nose. If this is the case, medical management (such as with nasal sprays or oral medications) or a small procedure (such as inferior turbinate reduction) may be options. Lastly, you mentioned alternating sides of nasal congestion. The nasal cycle is normal in many people, such that partial nasal obstruction switches sides during the day. This should go unnoticed, however if you have underlying nasal obstruction to begin with, the nasal cycle can become more noticeable and bothersome. I would highly recommend an in-office evaluation by a facial plastic surgeon with a background in ENT to further evaluate your situation and determine the best plan for you. There is some room to decrease the projection of your nose while maintaining balance and harmony. However, you should be cautious about simply removing the entire hump. You may actually benefit from only minimal reduction of the hump, then additionally augmenting the radix (the region above the dorsal hump) in order to achieve a straight contour. By raising the region above the hump, your nose would start at an improved region from your forehead, thus improving the overall harmony. I recommend reviewing morphs with a plastic surgeon. Photographs would be taken of your nose and then the desired appearance would be simulated. You can then see the difference between simply removing the entire hump versus performing a small augmentation above the hump. I think you may be pleasantly surprised at the difference. Augmenting the radix adds an extra level complexity to the rhinoplasty in order to achieve a successful result. Best,Allen Foulad MD
In regards to rhinoplasty techniques, there is usually never one right method. Every surgeon has his/her own techniques and preferences. In addition, there are advantages and disadvantages to every technique. To provide access to the nose, there are two approaches: external (open) and endonasal (closed). The external approach provides better visualization, access, and control. However, post-procedure swelling may be greater and there would be a scar at the bottom of the nose (albeit with meticulous suturing the scar is typically very subtle). You would be a great candidate to remove the dorsal hump and to narrow the nasal tip. You can consider slightly shortening your nose. There is an element of subjectivity when deciding how to reshape the nose. Because of this, I recommend reviewing morphs with a plastic surgeon. Photographs would be taken of your nose and then the desired appearance would be simulated. There are numerous techniques to achieve your goals. I personally would use a rasp to gently remove the hump, perform osteotomies as needed, perform conservative paradomal cephalic trim, possibly perform a lateral crural turn-in flap, and consider using a caudal extension graft to secure the tip. All grafts would be fashioned from your own nasal cartilages. Although nobody can guarantee the results of a rhinoplasty, it would be extremely unlikely to develop a Michael Jackson type nose under the right hands. Accordingly, the techniques I utilize involve avoiding aggressive maneuvers that can compromise the support of the nose. I typically recommend to wait at least 2 weeks to resume non-contact activities. If there is a risk of contact to your nose, I recommend waiting longer (e.g. at the very least 6 weeks). I personalize the recommended exact amount of time to wait before resuming activities by considering the maneuvers performed during the surgery and the patient's soft tissue characteristics. If it is important to resume contact sports sooner or to increase safety, a protective mask can be worn during contact sports. Best regards. Allen Foulad MD
There are numerous options available for improving scars such as microneedling, lasers, subcision, and fillers. I am an advocate of microneedling, which has minimal risk and downtime. Microneedling typically requires several sessions for meaningful results, and is performed by using needles to puncture the skin at the region of the scar. This action promotes collagen formation and remodeling. Topical or regional anesthesia can be used to make the treatment very comfortable. PRP can also be added to the microneedling treatment. I recommend an in-person consultation for a formal evaluation in order to formulate a treatment plan that is most ideal for your specific case. Best,Allen Foulad MD
