I've had my bbl for two years now and I love it everyday. My quality of life is so much better. I get compliments all the time still on it. Dr.Villares changed my life. He is a true artist. If you are having doubts about going with him for some reason, don't worry about it. I guarantee you will not regret it. My time with Dr.Villares I will never forget, him and his staff where very attentive and trust me I called A LOT. They always answered their 24/7 line. For the time being Dr.Villares and his staff felt like family. I'm writing this two years after my first bbl and I am in awe thinking about him. So much respect for him. Me and dr Dr.Villares worked out a deal for 2 bbls so I could safely get as much lipo as possible. And it worked out so well because I didn't know if I wanted a more natural look or a more exaggerated one. The first bbl was very natural looking and the final is somewhere in between natural and exaggerated. I know because many WOMEN tell me they can't tell if it's natural or I'm just really thick because it looks so good. I am in love with my body and given the second chance I would do it all over again with Dr.Villares.
I actually has no idea my chin had gotten so bad, from the straight on view it really isn’t that off, but my profile is terrible. I scheduled a while back and the cost of the lipo was without the vaser, but it is also being included in the service. Just getting the procedure done today, and from the other reviews I am very hopeful on the outcome. Updated on 10 Dec 2020: Wow, that was easy. Was put under deep sedation (asleep no breathing tubes) and woke up pain free. Went home and changed my chin strap, took some pain meds to stay ahead of any pain, then took a nap. I have the next 4 days off work, but I honestly think I could go back tomorrow. My chin looks amazing compared to my expectations. I hear it gets better, but I’m already very happy. Updated on 13 Dec 2020: I have minimal pain and bruising, I could totally be at work (especially since face masks are mandatory anyways) but I took through the weekend off so I’m relaxing at home. Doctor said I only had to wear the chin strap continuously for the first 48 and then just while sleeping for the next two weeks. I had taken a picture morning after that actually looks better than today’s photo, so I must have more swelling.
My stomach has bothered me for a while. I decided that I was going to finally do something about it. I went to a bunch of consultations with different doctors and I finally chose Dr. Alexander Villares. He is a very kind man, had impressive before/after photos, a nice staff, and the price was right. He didn't rush me, and his office didn't try to sell me a bunch of other stuff I didn't want or need. The whole process from booking, paying, pre op, surgery day, and the follow ups were really great. I am SO SO happy with how my tummy turned out. I had a full tummy tuck (not sure what a half is lol) but anyway, I feel like a new person. Dr. Villares made me feel very comfortable and the girls at his office are so nice and answered all of my questions. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who is considering having a tummy tuck or other plastic surgery. I am already thinking about getting breast implants next. Kudos to you AV Cosmetic Surgery Center, you guys have made me so much happier with my body!
I decided several months ago that I wanted to have work done on my face. I felt my eyes looked tired and baggy, partly as a result of having had cataract surgeries. I was thinking that my forehead should also be done. My sister had lost more than 100 pounds and had needed a surgeon to remove all that extra skin and had found Dr. Villares two years before. I wanted to see him. She said I should see a different surgeon first, for “context” and took me to a highly-rated, reasonably priced one. I was very pleased with him and know he would have done a great job. However, I did want to see her surgeon. I have to admit, his consult really impressed me. Besides the fact he was a lot more interactive with me, he did talk me out of having my forehead done. He noted that a somewhat wrinkled brow was very masculine. He also said that if I changed my mind and wanted to have my forehead, he would do it. He added in CO2 laser work and something for my cheek area, yet his bill was less than half that of the other surgeon. So I did schedule with him. I admit that though I wanted my eyes done, I was nervous. Just a few months before I had lost the sight in one eye for some time as a cataract surgery had gone wrong and required a lot of work to clear up that infection and restore my sight. Dr. Villares did my surgery first thing in the morning; he checked in later that day. As we came close to the end of the work day, I was nervous about the eye discharge. My sister took photos and sent them to the doctor who said all was normal, but I could come in. I decided not to, but the next week was uncomfortable with the drainage issue because I kept remembering how things had gone wrong with the eye surgeon’s work. We called that day and got the desired appointment time and the doctor did clean my eyes for me and reassured me I would be fine. He also gave me some medication to take and some facial stretching exercises to do to ensure all would heal correctly. Now, a little over three months later, I have had many people, including those who work in medicine, tell me I look “younger.” They cannot tell I have had work done on my face, just that I look better. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Villares and very pleased with his work. I’ve had many compliments, but no one has asked me “Who did your face?”
I came to Dr. Villares originally for Botox, but then found myself wanting liposuction. He did my love handles, chest, and stomach. I couldn't be happier with the results! He really did an amazing job and I can confidently wear a bathing suit again, which is huge for me! I feel proud of my body again. I highly recommend Dr. Villares.
25 year old mother of one, 6 days post op from breast lift with implants and lipo to flanks and abdomen. Super pleased with the results, even this early. Out of the 3 doctors I met with, Dr Villares had the best bedside manner, office was the most organized and the most “patient friendly.”
I have had several surgeries with Dr. Villares: liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), brachioplasties (arms), and a pilonidal cystectomy (not a cosmetic issue). I intend to have at least one more surgery with him. I've had eight surgeons in my life (have had things like a hysterectomy and two kinds of eye surgeries, etc.) He is without a doubt, the best surgeon I have had. Besides being extremely gifted, with excellent results, he is compassionate. He provides the level of information you need (and I like a lot). He is incredibly reasonably-priced. He and his staff don't "lose" you in the system or treat you like a number. Whether the surgery is in his own OR (very affordable!) or in the hospital (have had two in hospital), you get the best surgeon and best care. Hospital staff all respect him and speak of how his patients love him as well. It is a pleasure to have someone I can recommend without reservation. You will be safe, well cared for, treated with respect, and have excellent results.
Doctor Villares is the most skilled surgeon I have ever known. Words like patience, perfectionist , compassionate and communicative are not commonly used when a patient refers to their plastic surgeon! However, these are exactly the words to describe Dr. Villares. Look at the photos (before and after) - age at the time of surgery was 65. The paninis was a result of 3 pregnancies and many years of gaining and losing weight.
I've never been obese, or really in the overweight category, more on the heavy end of normal. When I went in for my procedure I was 5'7 150 pounds. That's the heaviest I've been in about 7 years. Prior to that my biggest weight was 170 for a year after having my second child (this is overweight, but since I never put it back on again I don't really count it) I've always extremely bottom heavy, and light in the bra area, especially after having and breastfeeding 2 kids, my breasts were just totally deflated. Breast implants are great for a lot of woman, but I don't want anything like that in me, especially since the are supposed to be replaced every 10-15 years. That's way too much commitment. I had heard of fat transfer years ago with the Brava system, but the price was nearly 10k, and I didn't have that much money, nor the desire to spend that much. I thought the idea was perfect of course, take fat from where you don't want it and add it to where you do. I have started gaining weight around my belly, which has been annoying because I always had a really flat stomach so I at least felt good in tank tops, and I didn't anymore. There was an offer for tumescent lipo for $1200, so I called the provider and asked if he could do fat transfer as well, and he said absolutely, when I asked about the extra cost he said it would be another $1000 to add that on. That was way too good of a deal to refuse, losing my belly and getting breasts for under $2500! During the consultation I added on my lower back, arms and basically the armpit fat area. I was super shocked at the cost being so low. I decided to wait on my lower body as you often need to get 2 transfers done on to get your breast to the right size. The fat transfer isn't an exact science like implants. Also, this is an awake outpatient procedure so their is a smaller limit to the amount of fat the doctor can take (this is also why the cost is so low, so I really don't mind!) Updated on 8 Jun 2017: I went in two days ago to finish with the lipo and add more fat to my breasts, and I went for the face as well this time. This time it was really about getting my thighs done, and I got suctioned for about two hours while awake, it was pretty intense, but worth it. My breasts look amazing from the transfer I had done about 10 weeks ago (As far as feel and shape, they look totally natural and like the belong on a teenager as far as perkiness, and they are quite a bit bigger), but I want to try for even larger. I would say I went from being a deflated B to about a large C cup, he put 500cc in each side and I would estimate about half of it stayed. As far as the fat transfer to the face, this is the part I am more nervous about. I've always looked old for my age, so I really wanted to do the fat transfer to face for more fullness. I still look like a chipmunk right now and I can't smile, but I'm only 2 days out. I'm surprised I don't have more bruising. I don't have any bruises on my face yet, I'm hoping this lasts as I go back to work next week. The Doctor said the swelling in my face would go down after a week, and it should look pretty good in 3 weeks. Updated on 8 Jun 2017: I don't want to add any photos of my body, because I've told too many people about having done this and it would be pretty humiliating to have my boob picks going around work, but I'm adding the face photos. I'll keep updating the changes every few days.
In the beginning the consultation was great. I choose him. But after the surgery is when things started going down hill. 1. My left boob is bigger 2. When I flex they look deformed 3. My nipples look very like they are fading away. 4. My left boob has throbbing pain 5. My stitches ripped and had horrid scars. After the surgery he said he didn’t want to go far up by my tattoo on my boob because he didn’t want to ruin it, but during the consult he said nothing about that. He said the insidious would be pretty high in the cleavage and high up toward my armpit. But then after the surgery he didn’t do that. we did scar revision (very painful for me), but I still have a very dark scar from by nipple to my Breast crease. He said we can do it again. The other issues I expressed, he felt that they look fine to him and he wouldn’t recommend doing anything. Oh And not to flex so they don’t look deformed lol. Also said I should get a second opinion. OH, I did multiple. Al doctors said there is something wrong. One said internal swelling, a second one said double bubble, another said he possibly made the Incision to big and the implant has slipped out of the pocket. And one doctor said he might not was to recognize is because he should fix it and or want to because of his reputation. Over all regret my decision getting my boobs done. I hate them and now haven’t to pay more to get them fixed. If he would have acknowledged what was wrong and gave my suggestions on how to fix them I might have felt different but nothing was recommended. Do you’re research guys. I even checked the BBB and he’s only be registered 1 year. I get we have to get experience from somewhere but not wanting to acknowledge something is wrong when there clearly is, in my opinion says a lot about this establishment. Here’s some pictures at my boobs that look fine to him. You can make your own observation.
In general, patients return to work within one week. There are varying degrees of abdominal spasms and nausea that may occur after balloon is placed, which, usually lasts 1-7 days. People typically return to work when these symptoms subside.
