I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ramirez, who truly exceeded my expectations. Seven years ago, I received silicone injections, but about a year ago, I started experiencing lumps and pain. It was time to have the silicone removed. When I consulted Dr. Ramirez, I expressed my desire to have as much of the silicone removed as possible while maintaining a nice shape. After reviewing my MRI, we discovered that there was a significant amount of product, but thankfully, not much was in the muscle, which allowed my muscle to remain mostly intact. Dr. Ramirez delivered results beyond my expectations, and I absolutely love my new butt! It looks natural, and I’m confident that in time, the scar will become less visible since he is a skilled microsurgeon. Dr. Ramirez is truly the best—a God-sent doctor! His staff is also amazing and provides outstanding support. Updated on 14 May 2025: I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. This doctor is truly a godsend, and it is clear that divine guidance is working through his hands because my surgery was incredibly smooth. I received silicone injections seven years ago and started experiencing pain and symptoms about a year ago. Dr. Ramirez Folleco is an angel, and so is his team. Not only did he make my butt look amazing while removing the silicone as if I had been going to the gym, but I also had zero pain by day three. He removed the silicone completely while leaving me with a fantastic shape. I pray that everyone who has been a victim of silicone injections finds their way to this doctor. The aftercare was also outstanding.
I adore Dr. Folleco. Here’s my story: I had two rounds of butt shots when I was younger. Huge mistake! I never experienced health disparities but those shots didn’t age well with my body. I have a small frame and the booty was way too over the top. I felt like a hot and tot Venus. I didn’t like the attention I got and I didn’t like the men I attracted. As someone who attends a top B School and wants to make moves business wise- I didn’t enjoy the vixen aesthetic. So, they shots had to go. The doctor removed between 8-9 pounds of skin, fat and hydrogel! Yikes. My butt is a bit smaller than what I had hoped for but I’m not mad. The shape is better and the size is a lot more natural, which was the goal. I can go to the gym to pump it back up.
After having 2 removals (1 with Dr. Pachon & the 2nd with Dr. Felipe Gonzalez), I learned a lot about this process. Dr. Folleco is the first Doctor to ask me- "what do you like" while we looked in the mirror together. I felt in my heart I was meant to meet him & am so happy with his work & scar & his recovery home & nurses (they came with me whenever I needed help). It was so peaceful here compared to my other surgeries because he has his own beautiful recovery home with nurses & mostly because my wound was FINALLY allowed to heal ( he has advanced method to see the scar without opening up any bandages and contaminating it). He looked at me as a person & accomadated my surgery into his busy surgery schedule because he knew I had to get back to school too. He truly knows what he is doing & knows how to properly let your scar heal. 10/10 experience so far.
Hey everyone, I've had 2 previous open removal surgeries before coming to Dr Folleco. The main thing I was concerned with was removing the remaining silicone left especially in my gluteal muscles as well as lifting my scar and making it nicer and neat. Dr Folleco using dermabond for his scarring so it heals perfectly. To secure a date with Dr you need a $500 deposit, Prior to arriving in Cali I got my itinerary for the week from his assistant. The next day after arriving I did blood work, MRI and EKG. The following day I had my consultation to go over the MRI and overall surgery plans. I waited to post this review until after I did my post op MRI three months later and I have to say 90% of everything was removed. I love my scar and look forward to building a long term relationship with Dr Folleco for my reconstruction surgeries. I took Ubers to my post op appointments three times a week, this was to have my dressing changed and make sure everything was looking good. I used Rappi to order food to my Airbnb, everything went smoothly so no complaints. Dr Folleco is very sweet, patient and kind. He takes the time to listen to your requests and concerns, he also speaks English so communicating is not an issue. He made me feel so comfortable and I honestly wish I had gone to him from the beginning of my journey.
Silicone removal. Great experience with dr folleco. He is truly an amazing doctor. I was mostly worried about the scar post surgery. His work is phenomenal and he truly cares about his patients . He walked me through everything and was very honest about my particular case of silicone removal. Hes done a lot of removals just not so famous on social media, so dont be fooled by his lack of videos on his ig. A friend recommended him and he did not disappoint. Going into this surgery was depressing as it is but health over everything always! I did 5 consultations with other surgeons in cali colombia and he was the one i chose . He’s reasonable with his price as well. Updated on 24 Mar 2024: Love my results. He took out as much as he needed to. Plz keep in mind that dr folleco will deliver exactly what you want. He asked me before surgery if i wanted him to remove as much if he saw it compromised? Or if i wanted him to remove a little bit? I told him take out as much as you can. This surgery was for health reasons for me, not to look good. But of course i went to him because of how decent results hes had in the past with other patients.
So my friend went to Colombia in May and got impromptu plastic surgery. She looks so amazing, the best work I have ever seen. Her incision marks are tiny, her waist is perfectly cinched, and her butt looks perky and round but still natural. I have seen my fare share of cosmetic work because I am a cocktail waitress at a gentleman's club, so for me to be impressed it takes a lot. I decided to go to Colombia to do it too, I have always had a stomach pooch. Not to mention, I recently just gained 20 pounds so I am excited to get rid of it too because now I hate to look at myself naked. Just so you know, I normally weigh 160 lbs but due to dramatic weight gain i weigh 183. I am 5 foot 4 inches and in great health. My primary care doctor tells me my blood pressure is perfect. I work out 6 days a week and eat healthy. I think the weight gain is from medication( anxiety meds). I am going to Cali Colombia on Tuesday, December 12th. I am really nervous about it but mostly positive about the experience. I am going to Dr. Alejandro Folleco. He is amazing and his brother is his anesthesiologist. My friend gave me his contact info through Whatsapp and I sent him pictures of me. after looking over the pics he quoted me for 4500-4800$. I bought my ticket back in july so it was fairly inexpensive. I got an Airbnb in the center of town that provides access for medical help. I am getting ready for the trip now. I will be bringing button downs, maxi dresses, stretchy rompers, and some granny panties. I am not bringing anything nice for safety purposes and I will be using uber to get around. This is what my friend said to do. In Colombia you can hire a nurse to come and help you post op and it is only 5$ a day. So when I get there I will set that up and buy my meds after speaking to my doctor. Updated on 22 Dec 2017: So this is the most painful thing I have ever done. My doctor took out 7 liters of fat. In America the most they can do is 2. I could not go to the bathroom without help for the 1st 3 days nor get up out of bed. My boobs hurt so bad and I am so swollen; My bruises are frightening purple and blue. Liposuction is not for the faint of heart. They told me the first 3 days are the worse and then it gets better. But for me it was the first 5. After 3 days I was able to walk around but i would get easily tired. Not to mention my hemoglobin was low so I always felt weak until my doctor gave me special supplements. Now on day 7 I am feeling myself again, but there is still a lot of hardship. Updated on 23 Dec 2017: I am so weak. Everyone I know who has gotten lipo has been fine 3 days post op. I cannot put on my clothes or take them off without help; not to mention, I can’t wipe my own ass. I seriously wonder if this is normal. I am 9 days post op. I did have major surgery though. A small Breast lift with implants and lipo on my stomach, back, arms, and thighs. This is just soooo frustrating!! Is there anyone else out there that has had/ is having this experience.
