after having twins, i knew that i was going to need to have a tummy tuck. after 3 years had pasted, i noticed that i was becoming someone who didn't like to be seen in public because i hated the way that i looked and the way that my clothes fit. i eventually found my Dr. in the Baltimore area and i can say that choosing him to do this surgery was the best decision that i made. i am almost two weeks out from my surgery and i look and feel great. even though i still have some swelling and of course the stitches, i can see 100% difference in my appearance. i am so ready to hit the gym and make the rest of my body match my wonderful, flat belly. i haven't seen a flat stomach in a very long time and thanks to my Dr., i now have an even flatter belly then i had before i got pregnant with twins. THANKS DR. G! Updated on Jun 17, 2009: Updated on Jun 18, 2009: well its been 16 days since my surgery and i am feeling great. other then having to sit around and doing nothing, i am still happy that i went through this. i am now down to just a pain pill in the morning and one at night so i can get comfortable enough to sleep. i can now handle the days without having to take anything for the pain, so that is great news. the swelling is slow but every day i see a small difference in my appearance. i love being able ot try on clothes that i have not been able to get into for several years. shirts now fit a lot looser and that makes me smile. i hated putting shirts on and seeing my big ol belly poking out, but now that is all gone. anyone thinking of doing this, there are a few things you need to do before you just in to. see a couple of doctors before narrowing it down to one. check the doctors background and make sure that he is qualified to do this work. any doctor can cut you open and stitch you back so you want to make sure that you get a surgeon that does this type of work on a regular basis. understand what the procedure is and what to expect. know that everyone handles surgery differenlty. just because i had a lot of pain, doesn't mean that you too will feel the same amount of pain. get to know your doctor, make a list of all the questions that you will have for him on the day of your consult. make sure that you take enough time off work for yourself to heal. this is your time, so take it, rest up and just heal. after doing all of my research, i came up my doctor and i am glad i stuck with him. he has been the greatest! i will continue to update with pictures. No matter how much weight I lost I always had a belly and rolls on my back. The belly and back are genetic. Lipo was the best decision I've ever made and the best money I ever spent. I have the body at 37 that I wanted at 17 and 27. I am so Happy. I do need a touch up on my back. I knew that from the time he told me how much he took out. I knew in my gut it wasn't enough. My year anniversary is in 2 weeks and I still get lumpy and swollen every so often, but that means it is still working. Ive lost over 20 pounds in the last year and I have the body of a teenager.
Horrible job ! One Brest bigger then other saggy and nipples uneven! Went back a couple years later to see how could be fixed and he said get a lift and was rude n rushed me out . I would think u would want to keep ur patients happy so fix the problems for how much $ I spent . Never will return unless my surgery he messed up is fixed free!!! Updated on 30 Apr 2016: After almost 10 years after my breast implant surgery im more unhappy then ever. You would think after the $ I spent the doctor would correct his botched job! Breast are 2 different sizes , nipples are uneven , saggy , wripples, and when I bend over it looks like I have teardrops hanging from my chest! When I lay down they fall to the side and lay flat and u can see my implant separate from my actual breast! They look nasty! My implants and my breast are totally separate from my real breast! Horrible doctor and horrible post op service
I have new breast implants, and they don’t look exactly how I expected. Its been about 5 weeks and the one is higher. i asked the doctor about it but couldnt get a clear answer on if this is normal, My procedure was done on 3/27/09 breast lift and implants.
Yes, we can use fillers and Botox at the initial consultation. We can also address the other issues you mentioned. Moles can certainly detract from one's appearance and their removal can improve your overall presentation.
Botox works by causing muscles to loose strength, thereby relaxing the skin above the muscle . It works great on frown lines between the eyes in the forehead and squint lines lateral to the eyes. From the picture I can't see if there are depressions near the mouth or wrinkles or both. There are numerous techniques that address these problems: fat grafts, fillers, possibly botox, minor procedures around the mouth and a facelift. I can't be more specific from that photo.
What you're asking for is the cost of a mastopexy with breast implants. Saline implants run about 1000 and gels 2000. The procedures require about 2 hours of operative time. You can drive after 24 hours but shouldn't exercise for 3 weeks. Pain is minimal and results are gratifying.
There really is no best way to do this. It just depends on the condition of the various components of the abdominal wall: muscle, fat and skin. Also, the proportion of intra-abdominal fat needs to be assessed, which, of course, is not approached by abdominoplasty. Smart Lipo can only improve minimal skin laxity.
It sounds like you're in good shape, but with the excess skin, some skin resection would probably be recommended. Also, the condition of the underlying musculature needs to be assessed to tailor the operative procedure to your needs. Smart Lipo will only tighten your skin if there is minimal excess.
