Dr. Golger, Josie, and the rest of the team are truly amazing. When I began the process of finding a trusted plastic surgeon, I was overwhelmed and unsure of what to look for. When I first met Dr. Golger, that became evidently clear. From start to finish, I felt comfortable and confident in my decision to have a breast augmentation. I felt like my concerns were heard, and that I was in control, but guided by Dr. Golger’s expertise. I was continually impressed with the level of service I received. Josie was readily available for any questions or concerns I had after my surgery, and Dr. Golger assured me that I am healing perfectly at my numerous post-op appointments. I am beyond thrilled with my results. I feel significantly more confident, and like a brighter version of myself. This process, and my experience is exactly what I could have hoped for. I cannot recommend Dr. Golger and Josie enough. Thank you Dr. Golger and Josie for making this such a fantastic experience!
I wanted to share my amazing experience with Dr. Golger, Josie and the rest of his team. From the second I met with Dr Golger, at my initial appointment, I felt very comfortable and confident with my decision to have cosmetic surgery. I was very excited but nervous about my procedure and both Dr Golger and Josie kept me at ease. The same night of my operation Dr Golger called me to see how I was doing. Josie was available any time of day to answer any questions I had. the Saturday night after my surgery I texted Josie with an inquiry and she responded in seconds. Dr Golger booked continuous follow up appointments to see my progress and assured me everything was healing properly. I'm very happy and excited about my results and would refer my friends and family to Dr Golger. Thank you again for everything you have done for me.
I'm not a big girl, fairly athletic, love my treadmill. I exercised daily, treadmill, walking, stretching, nothing was reducing the large appearance of my thighs, and I opted for surgery. After plenty of research, I found Dr. Golger who agreed that no amount of exercise would produce the look I wanted, I had liposuction and I'm HAPPY.
I was only interested in having breast augmentation to fill out the loose skin. My breasts as I like to call them were deflated balloons . I was a 34 B in my youth. I nursed 3 children for a long period of time which inevitably led me to have this awful appearance. A bra could not hide the problem, my breasts constantly fell out of my bra throughout the day. I was consistently adjusting. I could not wear a lot of tops because of the deflated appearance of my breasts. My self confidence was truly shattered for many years. I assumed that a medium to large size implant would fill them out . Of all the consultations I attended Dr.Golger ,was by far the most honest. As I mentioned, earlier, I was not at all interested in having a breast lift. Except for Dr.Golger, the other two surgeons were willing to do exactly what I wanted. They were not providing me professional advise, they were simply providing me what I thought was best for me. Although, I must admit I did not warm up to the idea of having the Breast Lift (Mastopexy). He was the only professional to tell me that I NEED a breast lift to achieve my desired results.Dr.Golger is very friendly with a lovely bedside manner. He has a very kind disposition which makes communication very easy( even in the most embarrassing circumstances). He is an excellent listener and provided me with professional advise that was in my best interest. The administrative team at Dr. Golger's clinic were absolutely amazing. Josie was so accommodating and understanding. She was a wonderful liaison between myself and Dr.Golger. His cheerful receptionist Shilan was also very pleasant and accommodating . What a wonderful team to compliment Dr. Golger!I agreed to go ahead with a the vertical scar mastopexy also referred to as the lollipop lift. I understood that the scar would be unavoidable but that to achieve beautiful natural looking full breasts this was the right option. With respect to implant size we came up with a mutual agreement and narrowed the size down to two implants which he would decide which one to insert at the time of surgery. At this point I felt extremely confident in his professional abilities and basically told him "go ahead and do whatever you need to do"The day of surgery finally came, he spent a very long time with me in the pre op marking and preparing me for surgery. He was very focused , meticulous and conscientious. It was very evident to me that Dr.Golger takes his work very seriously and with great pride to provide patient satisfaction. Once he was ready to take me into the OR he unexpectedly surprised me with a possibility that he could go ahead with a Benelli Lift( circumareolar lift) also commonly referred to as the donut lift to avoid the vertical scar! I was in absolute disbelief .... He thought it may be a very good option for me .Dr Golger wanted to achieve the appearance of the areola nipple complex to be normal looking in size , shape and position. My response was clear... Please go ahead and do whatever you think is best. I leave the decision making to you. I simply reiterated that I would not mind the vertical scar so long as I archieved the results I was looking for.The surgery was a beautiful success! He performed a Benelli lift, he inserted the implant( subglandular) inspira 370 high profile. Dr. Golger is a man of few words, he promises very little and delivers a lot . A month later and I am still in awe! I cannot believe the transformation. He is a highly skilled surgeon or shall I say artist. He is also very honest and ethical. My only regret ....is that it took me so long to find him. Dr. Golger is a true credit to his profession and I highly recommend him for any Cosmetic procedures that anyone is considering.
I had twins and that gave me stretch marks all over my tummy and loose skin that hung well over my pants. i lost about 100 lbs but couldnt wear nice clothes. i called around doctors until i found dr golger and his team! fabulous prices, people and life changing experience! I love myself now! Theresa B
I've thought about having a breast lift for a long time, but having surgery scared me a little. From my first consult to the post operative appointments, I couldn't be happier about my entire experience. I felt that the staff and especially Dr. Golger were so kind and caring. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The overall procedure and outcome is fantastic!!! I would highly recommend it, took at least 5 years of my appearance. It was not painful at all, I have had it done before and this is the most natural I have looked in a long a time. Since Dr. Golger did such a great job I am considering going back to look into other procedures as well!
I was referred to Dr Golger by a family member and could not have been happier with my results and experience. I felt comfortable with him from the start and I appreciated his honesty. it was evident he wasn't out to make a quick sale. He gave me his professional opinion and my results looked natural. I will not only be a repeat client but I would definitely recommend Dr Golger.
The Doctor himself is wonderful. His work is very clean. And quickly available. My dislike is he didn’t reduce them enough, they are still huge. And wasn’t told it wasn’t a lift so by month 4 they are pretty much the same droopy as before. They also had lipo ( which was extra) ( which was fine) but I still have huge breast that sag. No mention of a lift. Which I would of happily paid extra for. So still sore shoulders and back pain. So, Dr is great! Secretary ( in Oshawa location) is wonderful. But size and sagginess is what I am not happy about. FYI. I had no pain whatsoever after surgery. I also have no feelings in my nipples to become erect at all ( was a potential side effect ) I just wish a lift was an option. Patient Diamond Updated on 21 Mar 2019: Not happy. Would love them way smaller and firmer. Give it a few more months they will be back by my navel. Back pain and shoulder pain are still there. If lollipop surgery wasn’t going to make them small enough then I should of been told to get the anchor surgery
Dr. Golger Is by far the worst dr to go to he botched me and refused to revise his work. instead he asked me for an additional $10,000 to correct his work. In our initial interview and conversation I told him I expressed myself and told him exactly what I wanted I wanted bigger and perkier breast since I had 5 kids he told me I should do a mommy makeover i really don’t need a tummy tuck but got excited bc I would be able to remove half of my stretch marks he promised me that I was in the right hands. After surgery I expressed how I felt about how they were healing he kept telling I was fine and needed nothing else and that I was just an insecure woman.he left me with droopy breast 2 different sizes one breast is significantly way bigger than the other and also botched my stomach leaving extra skin pockets on my stomach dint even lipo any fat out of my stomach leaving me still fat and had the nerve to talk about my 17 old breast and compare them with mine. He refused to fix anything or to help me because i wrote him a letter asking him to please fix what he had promised and to revise and wave the additional $10,000 since i literally just paid him over $19,000 for the mommy makeover if your smart don’t trust him as your doctor he made feel worthless and left me all botched up and I still have pain in my stomach because he cut me so close to the bone I can’t even touch it without burning or hurting and it’s been almost 3 years.
Swelling will gradually decrease within 3 months time, however you will see that most of the swelling will go down anywhere from 4-6 weeks. The amount of swelling, and how long it lasts varies for each client. There are factors that will also determine the amount of swelling such as; types of procedure done (full tummy tuck vs mini tummy tuck) and how often compression garment is worn. It is important to follow the exact post op instructions given to you by your surgeon to achieve the best results.
Tummy tuck is considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by OHIP. There is a procedure called a panniculectomy which if approved is covered by OHIP. A panniculectomy is excess skin in the pannus area also referred to as an apron, that hangs down over the genitals and or thighs. During your initial consultation a certified plastic surgeon will be able to determine which procedure is best for you.
The cost varies depending on which tummy tuck you would need. A mini tummy tuck is approximately $5500-$6500 plus tax and a full tummy tuck is approximately $7500-$8500 plus tax. To choose a surgeon it is important to make sure that they are a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in the type of operation you are looking for.
