Just wanted to share that I went to Costa Rica a month ago to combine dental work with some beach time and it was a great experience. I contacted several dentists via email before hand to get prices for a crown replacement and ended up choosing Dr. Alberto Tabash (Tabash Dentistry) for the most reasonable price for high-end porcelain crowns as well as seeming very friendly and easy going. Upon getting to San Jose and arriving at the office for my appointment, Dr. Tabash and the very friendly female doctor, Dr. Huli, we're both extremely pleasant, friendly, professional, and skilled in their craft. After the first short appointment, I went and enjoyed 5 days on the Caribbean coast in Puerto Viejo. When I returned to the city, it was another short, pleasant appointment for Dr. Huli to put the new crown on and that was it. I was good to go. A month later, I am extremely pleased with the work they did and would recommend Dr. Tabash and his team to anyone and everyone. For the cost of what my dentist in the U.S. quoted me, I got the same or higher quality work done and a free vacation.

Horrible Experience - Do Your Research Before Traveling to Costa Rica! I had the absolute worst experience with this dentist in Costa Rica. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had made a huge mistake. The office was outdated, and the equipment looked ancient. The dentist seemed disinterested and rushed through the entire consultation. During the procedure, I felt extreme discomfort and pain, and it was clear the dentist was more focused on getting through the appointment quickly rather than ensuring I was comfortable and well-cared for. The results were disastrous. Not only was the work poorly done, but I also experienced complications afterward that required me to see another dentist back home. The worst part? When I tried to reach out for a follow-up, the clinic was unresponsive and showed no concern for the issues I was facing. It’s clear they are only interested in taking your money and couldn’t care less about the quality of care they provide. I strongly advise anyone considering dental work in Costa Rica to do thorough research before making any decisions. There are reputable dentists out there, but this is definitely not one of them. El dentista pareció desinteresado y se apresuró durante toda la consulta. Durante el procedimiento, sentí una incomodidad y un dolor extremos, y estaba claro que el dentista estaba más concentrado en completar la cita rápidamente que en asegurarse de que yo estuviera cómodo y bien atendido. Los resultados fueron desastrosos. No sólo el trabajo estuvo mal hecho, sino que también experimenté complicaciones posteriores que me obligaron a ver a otro dentista en casa. ¿La peor parte? Cuando intenté solicitar un seguimiento, la clínica no respondió y no mostró preocupación por los problemas que estaba enfrentando. Está claro que solo están interesados ??en quedarse con su dinero y no les importa la calidad de la atención que brindan. Recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que esté pensando en realizar un trabajo dental en Costa Rica que realice una investigación exhaustiva antes de tomar cualquier decisión. Hay dentistas de buena reputación, pero este definitivamente no es uno de ellos. Ahórrese el dolor de cabeza y el dinero: ¡busque en otra parte!
