I highly recommend Dr Zawacki and the professional staff at Aesthetic Medicine who performed a very successful Body Tite procedure to remove my C-Section fat pad bump and reduce excessive fat in my abdominal area. After having numerous plastic surgery consultations with other doctors who all recommended a complete abdominalplasty which would require major surgery and at least 3 months of physical downtime, I made the decision to take a far less invasive approach with Body Tite. The procedure was so easy and my results were even better than I could have ever imagined. In addition, the post procedure downtime was just a day or two and I was so happy to be back golfing and exercising in no time! Thank you Dr Zawacki! You and your nursing team are the best and I can confidently say I had 5 star treatment from you and would definitely recommend the Body Tite procedure!
I will update as my healing happens. I am a 51 year old healthy female, not overweight. Look young for my age, but felt my neck was stating to show my years. I had the necktite procedure done on Sept 29th, 23. It is now been almost 5 weeks and I cannot believe how terrible my neck looks. Updated on 2 Nov 2023: Before I had the procedure, I consulted with Dr. Darm at Aesthetic Medicine in Lake Oswego, Or. The doctor was and is as friendly as always. He told me this was a get on Friday and be back to work on Monday. Do not believe that for a minute. Day of surgery comes and I still have not met the performing cosmetic surgeon. About 30 minutes before my procedure she finally appears and makes some quick marks on my face, ask if I have any questions and then leaves. I am then taken back to the operating room where I am awake for the whole thing. Let me say it is such a cringe worthy experience. First your whole neck and jaw are fully numbed by liquid anesthetic injected in to the point your skin feels it will burst. It’s horrifying and so uncomfortable.. This take around 30 minutes. Next the doctor came in and let me say, there was nothing gentle about this probes violently going into my neck and face. I thought I was going to pass out. It is not painful because you are numb but you can still feel the pressure and it jars your whole head. When I left I was so swollen as you can see. 3 days later I had my first post op (not with the doctor) and I guess all looked fine. I did go back to work 1 week later with a turtle neck on because I was so bruised. Not a big deal but by week 2-3 lots of huge lumps have appeared. And they are so painful. Yes I massage them continuously with bio oil or vitamin E. Its been weeks now, I am at week 5 and they are still there. They are very visible and I have to wear a turtleneck constantly. Thankfully it is fFall going into Winter. Do not do this procedure in the Spring or summer. You wont want to leave the house. I was not told any of this would happen. I was given zero information about this. I had another post op (no doctor) and the nurse assured me this is normal and by 2-3 “months” they should be gone. I did not know when I decided to do this that 2-3 months of my life my neck would look so hideous. So, I hope this information is helpful to anyone else thinking about doing this procedure. I will update pics when the lumps start getting better and hopefully I see the results that I paid over $6k for. Updated on 12 Nov 2023: 6 weeks in and lumps are so hideous, hard to hide.... they are also so very sore to the touch. Skin fees raw. The Doctor did reach out to me however and said this was normal, but because I am so freaked out she is getting me in this week to probably get steroid creme or other and she said laser to help get rid of this quicker. I will update a new photo soon. Updated on 21 Nov 2023: 7.5 weeks in and Dr. Zawacki gave me a steroid creme last week that seems to be working. I also had a Exilis laser treatment today. I will have a total of 3, 2 weeks apart. The Doctor said these will help with the tightness of my platysmal bands. I appreciate the Doctor for being attentive to my concerns and I do feel un the upswing now. Once I am completely finished and healed, I will be changing this review as far as star rating. I think all the information is important however so patients know what they can possibly expect. My results are not usual but sounds like some people heal quicker. Updated on 13 Jan 2024: 3.5 months out and still waiting to see final results which apparently will be at 6 months. I have also on my 4th exillis laser treatment. My bands have softened but what I have now is loose skin under my neck that was never there before. I came in for some slight neck laxity. Updated on 8 Mar 2024: Almost 5.5 months out. To be fair to Dr. Z, the lower face (jowl area) looks great, I’m only concerned about the loose skin that is left underneath my chin (that was not there before) They are doing one Morpheus 8 treatment and then if I get another review, it will be from the co-owner of aesthetic medicine and not the doctor. After today’s meeting with her, I can tell that she is done with her concern for the outcome of this neck-tite treatment. She told me today that I’m 51 and it wasn’t like I got a facelift (didnt know I needed one) I was told point blank at my initial consult with Dr. Darm that if I had the procedure done on a Friday I would look 10 years younger on a Monday. I will post some of the before, and after photos that the office took, which they’re really hard to see any difference in any of them, but I’ll circle the areas that show the difference. Updated on 10 Mar 2024: Office photos do not take pictures at the correct angle but you can kind of see circled area of loose skin that was not there before. The doctor response to me feeling very self conscious now was a self esteem issue and she cant help me with that. That was actually her gas lighting me. People see surgeons like her to feel better about their appearance, not worse. Their whole business is based on vanity and “self-esteem”. Updated on 17 Apr 2024: After 8 months of going back and forth with Dr. Zawacki about the necktite procedure, I am done patiently waiting. The doctor screwed up and definitely took out too much fat. I am left with a turkey neck which I never had before. At my last appointment with her when I emphasize how bad the results are bothering me, she looked me in the face and said sounds like you have a self-esteem problem and I can’t help you with that. I’ve never been gaslit by a medical professional before. I will be Reporting Dr. aesthetic medicine and doctors Zawacki to the Oregon plastic surgery board and the Better Business Bureau. Each time I’ve gone in and they have taken after photos. They are photos that are straight on and not showing the underneath, which is where I have the loose skin now if you haven’t read the rest of my reviews, you will know that I had the neck tight to remove a double chin, I was never told that I could be left with loose skin. The office is very dishonest. They definitely make false promises about this procedure. I know that if you are reading the reviews about face tight or neck tight then you have some concerns and really want to tighten up the area or remove some fat I would say it was not worth all the suffering that I have gone through now. Updated on 11 May 2024: I am almost 9 months out from my procedure, this will be my last update on here most likely. I have since found that Dr. Zawaci was Involved in a lawsuit with one of her patients, which resulted in a $1.5 million payout to the patient. So I am not the first person she has screwed up on and I won’t be the last. At my last appointment about a month ago for a check in the doctor pretended she could not see the skin hanging down and also proceeded to tell me that it sounds like I haven’t self-esteem problem and she can’t help me with that. I’ve never been so insulted or gaslit by a doctor, the CEO of aesthetic medicine called me the other day to chat about case and kept repeatedly asking me what my concern area was although she has read the reviews and I sent them photos to the business email as they asked me gaslighting by this business. I will be going to the Oregon plastic surgery board next , this whole thing has been a terrible experience mainly because of the business lack of care when they make a mistake. Owning up to it and taking care of the situation would have resulted in a different ending.
