Dr. Holy injected Xeomin to smooth out the wrinkles on my forehead. She also used it to slim down my lower face so it looks less round and more oval. It looks amazing!! She took her time to make sure it was done properly and called me that evening to see how I was doing.
Careing and detailed, just what you what from your doctor. I had a body check and mole removal. Dr Holly went into detail about how important it is to have a yearly exame. She is very professional with compassion. Thank you Dr Holly
After a successful facelift 6 months ago, I wanted to compare my appearance now with pictures of myself taken 10 to 15 years ago. The most notable differences were : a 10 lb slimmer body then, and a full thick head of hair ! I can lose the weight, but to reverse my thinning hair, I ultimately decided that PRP was my best shot (pun intended, sorry) . My doctor, Adriana Holy (pronounced "holly"), was experienced and enthusiastic about this procedure. She gave me pain meds beforehand, which I'm sure helped. I have had two treatments and am due for my third next week. Although it is hard for me to notice new hair growth on my crown area, Dr. Holy and her office staff said they saw it. Then I saw the photos they took of my scalp before my first and after the last treatment, and there was a (slight) improvement. The pictures showed my hair parted in various places on my scalp. There was absolutely less skin showing, a more narrow looking part, if you will. That has me very encouraged, beside the fact that I don't have any actual balding spots, my thinning has been a very gradual process and my Mexican heritage gave me almost an overabundance of follicles to begin with. (Literally, I was born with a full head of hair!) So if the PRP works, I will be thrilled. I will have my Dr. post before and after pics when my regrowth becomes more obvious in a few months.
I noticed that my face was starting to decrease in volume - especially in my cheeks. I wanted a product and an experienced professional that would make me look natural. After much research, I found Dr. Adriana Holy and I am very happy with my results. Not only do I have additional volume in my cheeks, it also smoothed out wrinkles.
Dear Jaxxhands, Thank you for your question. The scar on your nose is difficult to evaluate without a photo, but if there is significant loss of volume, a TCA peel will probably not work. Better choices may be lasers or fillers, PRP or surgery, but I encourage you to seek the advice of an experienced physician who can actually feel the depth and breadth of the scar. I hope this helps--Good luck!
Hi Jenh56!Thank you for sharing your photos and question. You are correct that deep tear troughs make you look tired when you are not, and that this is thin skin with blood vessels. It can be readily improved using fillers like Restylane, Belotero, or Voluma, which provide the simplest, lowest risk and lowest cost solution. The likelihood of problem is low with an experienced injector, and these products are all dissolvable, so in the unlikely event of an issue, the product can be easily dissolved. The safety margin can be further improved if your injector is experienced with the use of a blunt tipped cannula in the tear trough area. This cannula does not have a sharp point, so is glides past the nerves and blood vessels, dramatically reducing the probability of bruising. In addition, when we perform this procedure, a thin shelf of filler separates the skin from the underlying vascular network and usually dramatically reduces the purple color problem. Good luck!
Thank you for your question regarding undereye puffiness. This problem is best corrected with an undereye filler: my favorites are Restylane and Voluma. Neither of those products draws in swelling. A subtle correction of one syringe to correct both eyes would result in a beautiful, rested, more youthful appearance! Make sure you schedule with an experienced provider, since this is a delicate area! Good luck!
Thanks for your question regarding eyebrow asymmetry. The type of brow asymmetry demonstrated in the photos is usually correctible by an experienced Botox physician. Because you are young in the photos I see, I doubt you would have problems that this might be a compensatory asymmetry which, on correction, would result in ptosis. This is most commonly seen in older individuals. I have excellent results with injecting a higher dose in the depressors in the weaker side, and a lesser dose in the higher side, with a tiny whisper in the forehead on the higher side. Make sure your practitioner does a careful muscular evaluation, because proper dosing depends on exactly how the muscles move. I hope this helps! Good luck!
Thank you for your RealSelf question and photos. It was a great idea to include the photos with and without your smile. I advise my Radiesse patients and other filler patients that post-procedural swelling will resolve in approximately 1 week. Radiesse is also uniquely constructed with a gel vehicle that dissolves at the 3-month mark. Your doctor may have anticipated some of this loss and in one week you will likely find that this was a perfect treatment. Sometimes it takes a few extra weeks for this to occur. Definitely if you have any questions I recommend talking to your doctor. Good luck! Dr. Holy
