Dr. Przybyla has been wonderful and very soothing. I’ve considered a reduction for years but was very nervous about doing it. I first met with him 2 years ago and was approved but got too scared. A year later I went back to him and he was just as wonderful and understanding. He’s taken the time to answer every question I had and had done really incredible work. Everything turned out so much better than I could have even imagined. I’ll do my best to continue to post updates, but so far it has been great! Updated on 2 Nov 2018: It’s been one month and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been getting compliments left and right and my back finally doesn’t hurt every single moment of every single day. Seriously, I keep telling everyone that I didn’t realize how debilitating it was until I wasn’t feeling pain all the time. I went from a 40J to currently a 38D but I’m guessing they’ll go down a bit more once swelling is all the way down. Updated on 3 Nov 2018: I meant to post some pics earlier but I’ve been using CicaTape (see pics) for 24-36 hours at a time (I started with about 6 hours and gradually moved up) and use Biocorneum in between along with 10 minutes of massaging after application for scar treatment. I really didn’t know how I would scar since this was my first major surgery and I’m really happy with the results so far. I read a lot about embrace but I just feel like cicatape ($16.99 for a roll lasts me 3 complete uses) and bicorneum scar gel (my surgeon sells it for $40 which is even cheaper than amazon and I know it’s the real stuff) are more affordable and have been just as effective for me. I think it’s really up to your personal preference, finances and healing but figured I’d share what seems to be working for me! Updated on 7 Nov 2018: I’ve said this in my last few posts but I’m super happy with the progress the scars are making. I’m neurotic about scar gel and massaging and have them taped up with cica-tape for 24-36 hours at a time. When they aren’t taped, I use the scar gel and massage for at least 10 minutes. Totally worth the added effort for the long term benefits!
