As other injectors have mentioned, botox can help to change the volume/appearance of ones lips. However this is not the gold standard in my opinion, I would recommend for you to consider dermal filler injections. Filler will provide a far better longer lasting result.

This is a very good question! I have injected lips with both needles and cannula and I genuinely do not feel there is a significant difference with post op swelling between the two. In my opinion needles are better as they provide razor sharp accuracy, and have personally moved away from cannulas when performing lip augmentation.

The effect of the botox injections on the masseter will almost certainly wear off over a 6 month period (maximum). However botox injections in the masseter muscles should not effect the volume of the cheeks. If anything, the cheeks here are the same size but appear larger due to your now slimmer lower face.

If you can see static lines (lines at rest) on the forehead it is perfectly fine to start having botox. I do not see the benefit of waiting if the lines bother you. Prevention is better than cure in my opinion!

I can only say that Dr Sarwar’s treatments at Skin Science in Knightbridge are absolutely fantastic. It is my fourth treatment at the clinic and I walk away every time feeling ten years younger!
