24 years old, 5'6 1/2", 134lbs. I've wanted to get a breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. I always had and still do live a very active lifestyle. Therefore, because of this I've created a body that is athletically built. I have broad shoulders and a big booty, which I like, but not having large boobs has always bothered me because I feel as though I look like a little boy and not a woman. Pre-op I wore a 32C but didn't fill the cup. My surgeon and I both agreed that 300cc would likely get me to where I want to be and Post-op I now fit into a 32D, but that may change over time and as my implants change throughout the healing process. I am so in love with my new breasts and wish I had done it long ago!!
Motivated by severe neck pain to have this done. By the time I was ready to leave the hospital, I had NO pain in my neck. Three weeks post-op now and still no neck pain. It was worth it for me. I didn't mind the surgery one bit. Only issue, and it's probably normal, is being so tired all the time. If you have neck, shoulder pain, and are big busted, consider having this done. Dr. Atiyah is an amazing doctor. Updated on 3 May 2014: Is it normal to feel as sensitive as I do? I can't stand anything touching my breasts. It will be 4 weeks Tuesday and I've healed very nicely. Now if I could just get over this sensitivity/pain issue and sometimes sharp shooting pain in my left nipple area, I would be great. Any suggestions? Updated on 8 May 2014: I'm finding a long soak in a nice warm top followed by massaging my breasts with Pure Vitamin E helps. They're still quite sensitive and I see PS on Friday. Still looks like the bottom stitch on each one hasn't disappeared quite yet. But I'm definitely feeling better...not as exhausted as I was and I'm back to walking! Yay! Updated on 13 May 2014: Was told by my PS not to massage with Vitamin E oil. He told me to use baby oil. Don't know why as it was a "by the way" question.
Well I'm day 3 post op.. The first two days were really tough but each day is getting better! I try and get up every three hours to pee and walk! My surgeon was great but I'm a nurse and I have a strong fear of blood clots... Every time I walk by the mirror I look at my belly and I'm wowed :) I would do it again in a heartbeat but only with the same surgeon I couldn't of asked for anyone better :) I had great care! Updated on 13 Nov 2012: Well it's two weeks today and can't believe how fast.. So great to have a wonderful nurse my husband lol... Couldn't have done it without him. The first two days were hell and the drive home was unforgettable ! On day 3 I walked up and down the stairs... I made sure I walked around everyday! On day 6 finally had a bowel movement lol like giving birth lol... On day 7 I stopped taken pain meds.. Two weeks out and I can sleep on both side but still hurts to cough or sneeze.... But I would do it all over again :)
