lasek is safer!
Before LASEK my prescription was super high (above a -9 in both eyes!) and I was dependent on my contacts and glasses. LASEK is definitely safer and it is a NON-cutting procedure. It has been 3.5 months since my operation and I have no halos, no night glare, no flap. I chose Dr. Chynn & Park Avenue LASEK because he helped pioneer this procedure and it was the perfect fit for my situation. You must follow every instruction post op for the best results you will be doing yourself

Before Dr. Chynnl had a stigmatism had to wear glasses or contacts after doing an extensive research on lasek and ophthalmologist. I found Dr. Chynn and park ave Lasek. I noticed that he perfected the procedure.Had my consultation with him and his team they made me feel comfortable. I knew that I had to go with Dr. Chynn after my consultation I did the procedure about 1 year ago it was quick and painless.now l have 2020 vision don't have to worry about wearing glasses or contacts
My Lasek Experience
Before lasek i had moderate presc like -4 with astigmatism and now im seeing 20/20! My eyes are barely dry, i dont have any glare and im glad i dont have a flap to worry about. Great Results
I had my Lasek with Dr. Chynn a few months ago and I couldn't be happier with the decision. I am now better than 20/20! I really hated depending on my glasses for everyday function and I would constantly misplace them or even break them when I playing sports. Now that I don't have to rely on my glasses to see, there is so much freedom! 20/20 Vision, No Pain, and No Scarring!
I had a great experience. I wanted a doc that performed no cutting, laser only LASEK surgery. Doctor Chynn and his staff answered all my questions and even put me in touch with a former patient to make me feel more comfortable. He is also the only practice that I got in touch with that performs the surgery on people with a history of keloids. He prescribed Doxycycline and LTM gel to prevent scarring. It was a very positive experience and i'm happy with the outcome.

Lasek is More Advanced and Safer Than Lasik. Dr. Chynn is the Top Surgeon to Do That
Park Avenue Lasek is the only place around where you can have a refractive surgery or correction for your eyes without blade. It is a more advanced technique than Lasik. Dr. Chynn is probably the most experienced refractive surgeon in the US. He completed his BS in Biology from the Dartmouth College and his MD from the Columbia Medical School which is a very hard school to get into and graduated with honors and did his Residency at the most prestigious place in the US for Ophthalmology

I chose to get my Lasek done with Dr. Chynn at Park Avenue Lasek. Some people might be turned off by Dr. Chynn's personality and how he interacts with staff, but the guy is clearly brilliant. I went to almost every LASIK center in NYC, but none of them could treat me vision because I had both a high prescription AND thin cornea, so they all said it would be unsafe to get LASIK.
