I’ve seen Dr. Butterwick for many years and would not consider a different dermatologist. She’s professional, caring and expert in her field. I’ve sent many friends to her and they all return for more and different treatments.
I had an amazing experience with Dr Butterwick. I could see the resuts foir my cellfina treatement after 5 despite the bruises. She always finds time to check on her patients she is very kind and puts you at ease.
My experience with Dr Butterwick was amazing. I could see the results 5 days after the procedure despite of the bruises. Dr Butterwuck is very kind and competent and she makes room for her patients. I warmely recommand her.
I have had liposculpture three times with Dr. Butterwick and have had an excellent experience every time. The areas where I had liposculpture were upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and an area called supra pubis which is right below the lower abdomen. I have never had any issues healing, and have been happy with my results. The facility where the lipo is performed has an operating room which is really important to me. Everything is very professional and Dr. Butterwick will make sure all of your questions are answered so that you feel safe. You can definitely get your procedure done somewhere cheaper, but if you are looking for a quality doctor, excellent facility and the results you want, go with Dr. Butterwick!
A-Amazing! Dr Butterwick is an artist and a doctor...she took a very difficult abdomen challenge and gave me a flat tummy with liposculpture...her staff is caring and helpful and Dr Buttlerwick has a way of listening and giving you an incredible result...as a side benefit...just the freedom to move easier and feel lighter has been an incredible experience...I'm a senior client...so I wasn't sure what the results might be or if I was a good candidate but I felt I was in good hands...I would encourage anyone seeking treatments to go to Dr. Butterwick instead of lesser costing options...you won't be disappointed
Dr. Butterwick is awesome. I was able to talk to her about my concerns and offered the best solution for me. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during my visit. I'm looking forward to my next visit :)
I always had a perfect waist and back until I didn't! Around 50, the muffin top slowly appeared. I have always worked out and done the best I can, however, at the age of 67, I finally decided this is it! I would have to be way too skinny, lose that butt I work so hard for and age my face to lose anything around that middle. I can only say, "Why didn't I do this sooner?" Dr. Butterwick has been my dermatologist for years and I trust her implicitly. Made the appointment and did the procedure 2 weeks later. OK, here it is….. Two hours, total…..Virtually painless, incredible results. Dr. B also did my knees, which I have always hated. The skin on my stomach is tighter than ever! My back is amazing!!! My legs look so shapely with that bit of pudge gone at the knees. The only uncomfortable part is wearing the after garment afterwards, but I would wear it for a year to get these results. Dr. Butterwick is amazing. She is meticulous, caring, and over-the-top competent. All of her nurses are available to answer any questions, before and after. Over the moon happy! Wearing all those clothes I have saved!!!!
Went in to see Dr Butterwick because I heard wonderful things about her and her experience as an injector. I was looking to treat volume loss and ugly sagging in my nasoglabiel folds. I was thinking some form of filler. She suggested sculptra which gives an ncrease in collagen overtime. Wow am I glad I went to her. She was right. I was uncertain about fillers but the thought of subtle improvement overtime really made me feel better , and I love the way it is progressing.
I'm 59 and noticed deeper wrinkles around mouth and under cheeks. I was skeptical about fillers especially around mouth and lip area. Dr Butterwick did an awesome job with fillers. Taking her time and asking questions about what I was trying to achieve. After each injection she asked me to look to see if I wanted more. Only downside is fillers don't last very long and it's expensive to keep up!
I've had a great experience so far with Dr. Butterwick. So far I've had two appointments, a consultation and the first IPL treatment, and both times Dr. Butterwick has been understanding of my concerns and eased any discomfort I had. She was thorough in explaining what my treatment would be, and since I have a combination of skin issues to deal with, she also explained what the next step would be should the first plan of action not treat everything. When choosing a dermatologist, I was tempted to purchase a Groupon for discounted IPLs just to get it over with quickly and to save money, but I am so glad I instead decided to invest a little more time and money and know I'm getting the best treatment from a professional like Dr. Butterwick and her office staff.
If you have not received satisfactory results with IPL treatments, a pulsed-dye laser is a good next step. However, it is also possible the IPL previously used on your face was not powerful enough to produce an optimal outcome. In my practice, we use both the Stellar M22 and the Vbeam Perfecta for treating diffuse redness and visible vessels. The Stellar M22 is one of the most powerful IPL devices available today, offering our patients superior results. The Vbeam Perfecta is a vascular laser that targets the blood under the skin to eliminate veins and redness without harm to surrounding skin and tissue. We sometimes combine this treatment with ALA solution first, which makes the area more sensitive to the laser. If you have rosacea, this is a great treatment. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist who can assess you more thoroughly in person and create a customized treatment plan that meets your needs and goals best.
Thank you for your question. A pulsed-dye laser is indeed a superior treatment choice for visible vessels on the nose. I use the Vbeam, which targets the blood inside the vessel to coagulate it without damaging surrounding skin and tissue, so the treated vein collapses and disappears from view over a month’s time. These vessels can be stubborn, but with the VBeam, one to two treatments usually clear them. IPL is less specific, and the vessels may not clear as well. However, IPL is also good for pigmentation, so if your nose is freckled, you might choose this treatment. The procedure is relatively quick and comfortable, and there is no downtime needed after treatment. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist with expertise in working with vascular lasers for a full assessment and treatment plan customized to your precise needs and goals.
There are different ways to rejuvenate the delicate skin under the eyes, based on the specific concerns you would like to treat. In your case, a CO2 laser may be the perfect choice for addressing your lines and crepiness. This procedure effectively firms the skin to smooth away wrinkles, while creating a refreshed appearance overall. Improvements can be seen once the skin heals and will continue to improve in the weeks following treatment due to a boost in collagen production. Depending on the depth of the treatment and whether you decide to have a fractional or fully ablative CO2 laser, you will likely have about 1-2 weeks of recovery time, which might include skin flaking and peeling, redness, and some swelling. Results can be both dramatic and long-lasting. To ensure your procedure is effective and safe for the delicate skin and tissue, always work with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist and laser expert.
Thank you for your question. You should not have any issues getting laser resurfacing after having PDO threads. The threads are located deep in the subcutaneous layer and should not be affected by the laser treatment. In fact, the combination of the two treatments should produce a very nice result for you by rejuvenating the skin at the same time you have enhanced the facial contour with the lift procedure. Make sure you are working with an experienced board-certified dermatologist to ensure your procedures produce the best results for you.
Thank you for your question. I do not typically use the CO2 laser for tightening the skin of the neck. The skin of the neck has no hair follicles or oil glands to regenerate new skin and it is not safe to laser it as aggressively as the face. There are numerous other options that would likely produce a better result for you with fewer risks. To tighten the skin of the neck area, you might consider an energy device like Ultherapy or Thermage. Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy and Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deep dermal and connective tissue, causing tissue constriction and increased collagen production. The Intracel is another RF device with microneedles delivering the energy to deep and superficial layers of the skin. I use this device to rejuvenate the neck when the skin is crepey. There are better lasers for treating the neck as well. Picoway addresses unwanted pigmentation, while a fractionated laser like Fraxel Repair produces consistent skin texture and wrinkle improvement. Horizontal banding is typically treated with injections of Botox into the platysma muscle and this is an easy solution. Lastly, these “tech neck” lines created from looking at your device, can be filled with a light-weight filler like Belotero with excellent results. I advise you to schedule a consultation with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist. Through a comprehensive assessment and detailed discussion of your concerns and goals, your doctor can create a treatment plan tailored to your precise needs for the best possible results.
