I have open pores on my nose and cheeks as well as mild acne on my face and neck. I'm about to start my Retina-A treatment but not sure I can use a derma roller on my nose. I don't have any pimples on my nose just pores and blackheads. Can I use a derma roller only on my nose ?
I'm 38 with normal skin and no skin conditions. I've done 3 BBL facials to help with hyperpigmentattion (from sun exposure) and I still have a significant amount. I plan on having my first Halo in one month. In the meantime I'd like to continue home dermarolling to increase product absorption (vit c, tretinoin, and skinmedica recovery complex). My aesthetician recommended I stop home dermarolling, however all the research I have done says this is harmless and great for product absorption.
I was recently prescribed tretinoin for mild acne & scaring I have deeper pits on my nose that have been there for about 7 years I've tried derma rolling at home on my own with little results I was wondering if I could use them together like derma roll lightly about once a week and apply my medacation before bed?
I've been on Tretinoin cream for about a month now. I just ordered my home dermaroller and plan to use the 1.5 mm for acne scarring on my cheek areas. My question is what is the proper way to use both my home dermaroller and my tretinoin cream in conjunction with eachother. Should I stop my cream for about a week before dermarolling then a week after dermarolling begin my tretinoin cream again? and how often can I dermaroll with a 1.5mm? your reply is greatly appreciated!
I see some people saying its safe to apply tretinoin cream right after home derma rolling (1.5mm) and some say it's not.I'm confused? would it be better or worse to apply tretinoin cream directly after dermarolling? looking for the best results possible
