6 months ago, I got a dental implant (the lower part only) on tooth # 30 with bovine bone grafting. I still havent got the crown on. My dentist told me that my face would be swollen for 3-4 days after the surgery, and it did. Then the swell reduced and everything went back to normal except one thing. There is still a little bulge on my left cheek that wont go away and its been about 6 months since the implant surgery. The bulge is not obvious. It doesnt hurt no matter how I touch it. Help.
I have had implants about 6 months ago, about 5 months during covered healing, the one on the front right side throbs. There is also a bump on the roof of my mouth close to this implant that had appeared after the implant and remained since then. My dentist then exposed this implant but the bump had gotten bigger. Will this bump go away on its own when my gums heal?
I got an implant in my front top tooth about 6 months ago & the bruising still hasnt gone away. No pain or swelling or anything just a purplish discoloration & it effects my smile I was wondering if this is normal & how long should I except this to last for?
I've already done my final Impression for the crown suppose to go in in a few day for that to be put in but I'm have some pain in and around the implant s8ght there's a healing cap on it its not loose or any thing what could this be??
I had 2 dental implants placed, one on each side of lower jaw. When the implants were uncovered at 6 mths one of the implants fell out. The current approach is wait 3 months and re-do. He has not given me an indication as to why it failed. I am nervous to try again. What do I need to consider/reconsider for the second time? Notes: I did orthodontics to create space for the implants. No bone grafting was necessary. I was an ideal candidate, non-smoker healthy, 30 year old female.
