I felt shooting pain with particular movements Wed. way worse than before. My tooth didnt even hurt before the canal after/before taking antibiotics- the pain got slightly better after wed But no better Thurs. or Fri. Ive taken aleve/ Tylenol which doesnt really address the pain. I have yet to get the crown. how long is it ok to feel like this when should I start to worry that this isnt normal- also my tooth was filed down and doesnt touch...
Whilst having a root canal done a few years ago, my tooth snapped off to my roots. Since then I have had a tooth made out of filling, and finally on Wednesday I was able to get my preparation for my crown. Whilst having it done, I felt some sharp shooting pains. The dentist gave me some anaesthetic & all was okay. Now all of a sudden, I am getting quite a lot of sharp shooting pains again. Just a little worried.
Since having this done I had pain first with the temporary crown so decided root canal to help. I have now had this done and the crown is now on, but I constantly get shooting pain, throbbing, can't touch that tooth as painful and hard to eat on the right side. been back to the dentist several times had exrays done and can't find / see any thing wrong , they now say my only option is to extract the tooth but I never had any pain with my original crown. What can I do I don't want it taken out.
I was fitted for 2 crowns and the dentist left a hole in my gums. Not sure if this is normal? Now I am getting shooting pains from that area up through my temple that are quick jolts. Should I follow up or go through the motions?
The the constant throbbing pain is enough to prevent me from sleeping, I have been unable to eat or drink much of anything without pain only intensifying. I had no root canals done on these crowns, I felt no pain while I had the temporaries in place, pain only happened after permanents were put into place. I was told to wait a week, but the pain has become unbearable, and if I happen to touch the tooth a sharp shooting pain follows. Please advice. Thank you
