I recently had 10 zirconium crowns fitted to my upper jaw and i am really happy with the results. However i am just wanting some extra aftercare advice and how to keep them looking clean, fresh and white like they where when first fitted. I have stopped eating and drinking almost all dark colours foods and drinks which helps a lot but i am wondering what is the best kind of toothpaste and tooth brush to protect the crowns
I had 3 crowns replaced in april/may this year on 2,3 &4. It usually starts off with slight pain after a hot drink then it hurts with cold food or drink. The pain comes and goes, it usually lasts 2-3 weeks then it feels ok for a few weeks then starts up again. The other problem is i'm getting food stuck between 3&4 which is making my gums sore. I was fine before these new crowns , no food stuck , no sore gums.
The the constant throbbing pain is enough to prevent me from sleeping, I have been unable to eat or drink much of anything without pain only intensifying. I had no root canals done on these crowns, I felt no pain while I had the temporaries in place, pain only happened after permanents were put into place. I was told to wait a week, but the pain has become unbearable, and if I happen to touch the tooth a sharp shooting pain follows. Please advice. Thank you
I just recently had 5 permanent zirconium crowns placed before they were put in I was having some sensitivity with the Temps so he did a couple of xrays to make sure everything was good and it was,but now there's some pain sensitivity when drinking hot liquid it's not throbbing pain just pain its only been 2 days since placed is it normal?
