Hi, I have some small/puffy bumps (mainly on my nose) due to rosacea. I have had a couple shaved off by my dermatologist and results are fine but left some minor scarring. Ive read that the CO2 Laser can possibly also treat this condition without the scarring. Im wonder if this is true. If there is a better laser/treatment for this condition and how many treatments it may take. Thanks!
Diagnosed with rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. What are the most effective methods to get rid of orange peel skin texture, redness, and large pores. I've already done several sessions of the following lasers: 1. IPL 2. vbeam 3. Genesis 4. Fraxel I'm losing hope... my next thing is either c02 or some type of radio frequency laser? Any suggestions? I use a combination gel that has azelaic acid , metronidazole, and ivermectin. This has helped a lot but still not satisfied.
I performed a whole face treatment with a fractionated Co2 laser 45 days ago and my skin is still very red. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. Before performing the procedure, I informed the doctor about this, and asked him to make a more superficial parameter, but at the end of the treatment he told me that he had done something deeper. is it normal to be red for so long?
I'm in the early stages of the disease. I understand CO2 Laser can manage the bulbous nose, vascular lasers can manage the redness. But often with Rhinophyma other parts of the face completely lose texture, large pores/bumps. Whats the most effective treatment(s) to manage this part of the disease, if its even possible. Thank you for your time.
I'm considering getting C02 laser. I've had one done in 2009. I had rosacea prior and went thru a series of IPL's to help. I'm wondering if having another C02 fractional laser will bring back my rosacea. Thank you!
My doctor suggested the CO2 laser for smoothing the skin. He is very progressive and likes to experiment but I don't want to experiment with my face! I think CO2 would ruin my skin even more, since it is always red and tends to get redder often. I'm specifically asking about smoothing the rough skin. Frexel Repair seems very aggressive, as well. Any other option? For the redness, I tried Vbeam, Excel and they don't help much (I did more than 15 laser treatments!). What other laser could I try?
If so how many treatments are needed and what is the recovery time? How long can I hope treatments to last, and what are the results I should expect? What are the costs? Who is well experienced with the best procedure for this in the Denver/Colorado Springs area? Thanks much!
Hello, I have some rosacea which just started a year ago (I'm 28) it flares up but isn't terrible. Broken capillaries are visible in 3 spots on my cheeks. I have old scarring, they aren't deep but bother me and give my skin poor texture. Also slight sun damage. Would a Co2 treatment followed by a couple IPL treatments most likely be the best way to treat this? Thank you in advance :)
