Had CO2 laser on Monday (face). On Sunday I assisted the scaliness (due to two events to attend and no peeling) with slight brushing using a dry razor, and some scaby particles came off. The minute scabs were still there just the top scaly layer got off and the areas smoothed out to apply makeup. No cuts, no bleeding, only less scabbiness. Want to know if what I did was okay and won't create any trouble in betterment of skin? Been following prescribed ointment, moisturizer and sunblock routine.
This has been the most excruciating painful thing I've ever experienced. I still have some oozing and pain on my neck with only a couple itchy spots. My face itches so severely I want to scratch it off. I'm taking benadryl and also using aquaphor and Cetaphil moisturizer on my face. Per my dr I'm still using neosporin with pain control on my neck until the oozing stops. My face still has minimal swelling and angry redness. And the texture is horrible like an orange peel and horrible acne.
I was using Vaseline and vinegar soaks and switched over to DML Lotion. I was considering using eucerin night cream redness relief. One because it is thick and I believe it can keep my skin moisturized and two it is supposed to help with the redness. Will there be any side effects to using a cream like this? Thank you
I have done fractional Co2 yesterday on my face for pigmentatio & acne scars,my doctor recommended to leave my skine bare after procedure until my whole face peels off on its own, no vaseline nor aquafor, nothing at all. Only water pads.she said any moisturizer will delay and stop the peeing last timei had Co2 fractional in different Clinic and the dr used to prescribe MEBO for me immediately after procedure and until full peel 5 days. Is it ok to leave my skin bare to dry and peel off like this
I had a full face ablation with CO2 laser about 2 weeks ago. I have been using aquaphor and vaseline on my face all day everyday.. my face still feels right and dry after washing. When am I able to wear regular moisturizer and foundation? And what it the best makeup and moisturizer to use. The procedure was done because of acne scarring.
I usually mix my retin A with some moisturizer (so it is not full strength), could I continue using it at night up to a week before the procedure? My second question is: is fraxional co2 truly a LOT safer than the old co2 with regards to risks of any change in pigmentation? (I have olive skin). Thank you in advance for your answers;)
I'm using Obagi gentle cleanser, Regenica Repair (growth factors), Cereve moisturizer, and of course SPF. Should I add some Vitamin C serum or Retinol at this point? My skin is healed but still slightly pink. Thanks!!
I had CO2 laser treatment for acne scars exactly 2 months ago. Everything went okay during the healing time, but since then my face has a slight pinkish tone-not angry red, just a different shade from the rest of my body where my skin has a yellowish undertone (I dont't have ethnic skin). A bit sensitive to water, moisturizer etc. Is this normal? Will my skin ever return to its original color? Will I ever be able to tan in the sun again (using sunblock of course)? Why is this even happening?
