I have a lot of scars mostly boxcar and saucer scars. But they are all located on both sides of my temples only. There is literally no unscarred skin on my temples. I was wondering if I can get co2 laser done on ONLY my temples, I would hate to risk my good skin on the rest of my face for hyperpigmentation or even more scarring. Also I am Filipino with a light complexion.
1. I was advised to go for Co2 laser for my scar and with retinol peel for post hyperpigmentation 2. She said the laser and peel will b done on same day. Is that fine if we done the treatment on same day ? 3. I was on accutane for a period of one month in Jan 2017 and I am going to start by Co2 laser n peel by 20th April. Can this cause side effects.
Respected Doctors Skin type: Indian, Male/Age: 32 For my boxcar acne scars on my cheeks, I've been going to a specialist in Toronto. The next session should include Subcision + PRP + Filler + Deep Fractional Laser, according to the medical esthetician. I want to know if the aforementioned solutions will reduce the degree of scarring on the face and could need your assistance. Am I missing something, and if so, could you offer some advice? thanks, Bob
I am a 35 year old South Asian female. I have atrophic scarring on cheeks and some light PIH. The atrophic scarring is rolling, boxcar scars. Since 2019, I had 3 microneedling sessions w/ PRP, 9 Clear and Brilliant sessions and 1 HALO laser. C&B is not invasive enough. I saw some improvement after the first microneedling session w/ PRP and little improvement with HALO laser. Should I do another HALO or instead opt for Cool Peel w/ RF Microroneedling treatments? Haven't tried Cool Peel or RF.
Had fractional CO2 laser resurfacing two weeks ago, 40% coverage for acne scarring (light rolling scars, very shallow boxcars, some very shallow icepicks). Mostly healed now, so far no improvement. I've heard the line that it takes up to 6 months to see the full results, but what percent of the results approximately should I expect to see at the 1 month mark, 2 month, mark, 3 month ark, etc.
Hello, I have some rosacea which just started a year ago (I'm 28) it flares up but isn't terrible. Broken capillaries are visible in 3 spots on my cheeks. I have old scarring, they aren't deep but bother me and give my skin poor texture. Also slight sun damage. Would a Co2 treatment followed by a couple IPL treatments most likely be the best way to treat this? Thank you in advance :)
I've noticed doctors on YouTube who use a combination of full-field erbium with C02 fractional get much better results than using fractional lasers alone. Why is this combination of lasers not the norm for treating acne scars if it seems to be so much more effective? I've been to several dermatologic surgeons and they all recommend subcision with C02 fractional or Profractional. They don't mention the full-field option. Looking for some insight. Thanks!
