19F 5'7 130-140LBS unhappy w face shape being so round. Not sure WHAT makes face appear so round tho (& thus don't know which procedure to get). Cheekbone and jaw both equally wide & both widest parts of my face. This would be fine but I have very full cheeks (definitely not lacking any buccal fat that's for sure). my guess: maybe this would be ok if my chin wasn't vertically short(not recessed) from front profile. what should I focus on/fix/what procedure?
The first pic I am on the right and the left is my goal face shape. My face is very round and egg like but oblong. I was wondering if a chin implant would make my face more heart shaped like the pic on the left?
I have a weak chin and sometimes I feel uncomfortable seeing pictures of myself from the side. It looks like I have no neck haha. I'm not fat or anything but when I look down, a double chin appears, ugh. I would love to have a more defined jawline that's angular.. My face is also very round and want a heart shaped face! I would be so happy! What kind of procedure would it be and how much will it cost?
I got a consultation for my chin: I have a squareish face and want it longer/heart shaped. I learned the lower third of my face is too short, vertically NOT horizontally. The surgeon suggested a chin implant that he'd point downward which would also project horizontally an insignificant amount. After research, it seems an implant's primary effect is horizontal aug. Online most suggest genioplasty to fix vertical deficiency. second opinion? Should I get a genioplasty instead? I'm in IA
I am almost 11 months post op rhinoplasty which has left the tip of my nose swollen, given it a slightly crooked appearance, and somewhat turned me off to the concept of invasive surgery since my appearance is now objectively worse. That being said, I still desperately want to improve my profile. My chin is rather shallow and I'm wondering what is truly the most effective way to achieve the results I want (photos of ideal also included). Please advise.
So I had a chin implant done in April of 2016. And I really like it, I would like just the slightest bit more projection and also a tapering of the jaw so it gave my face a more heart like shape rather than the rectangle shape it is now. The surgeon said he put in a 9mm implant and that's the biggest he does. So I was wondering can he stalk a extra small implant over my current one for that bit of projection? Thanks!
I'm a female with a small heart shaped face, narrow small chin & mild underbite. My chin was set back about 10mm from where it should be & is quite short vertically. I have a med anatomical implant which gave 'moderate' improvement to the profile but it's widened my face & my chin looks square & masculine. Mentolabial fold has also been over-accentuated. It doesn't work! What implant could be used to give a subtle vertical increase, good projection and NO lateral width? Genio is not an option.
