I got a chin implant in April through mouth. Now it seems like the incision is starting to open, before it was much higher. You can even see a root of a teeth. This is not bothering me and I do not have any pain at the moment, however it is worrying me a bit that this can lead to some infection or causing something. Do I need to worry or fix something? I do not live in the same country as my surgeon and have to travel far to see him
So I had a medium silicone implant 5mm placed 2 weeks ago under the chin. I wanted a subtle change and I really dislike this change. My question is can I replace it with a 2mm or 3mm? Will the skin sag? Also, will there be scar tissue so the 3mm will look like a 4 mm because of scar tissue forming? I honestly want 2mm less than what I have now. But afraid the 3mm will look like a 4mm because of scar tissue. Please give advice. I know it is very recent but I dislike it a lot. It's not subtle.
Before I got a 5mm implant, my chin used to dimple when I closed my mouth but after it didn't dimple at all no matter how much strain I put on my lips. My chin felt tight and muscle felt clumped almost like it was paralyzed (my chin wasn't numb just felt a bit sensitive). It didn't go away after a few mos so I got the implant removed but my chin still feels weird. My doc said that I should wait more but is there any scenario where the muscle or nerve is damaged &results in something like this?
Even though implant is not there do i still have to heal like as if i still got the implant. Do I have to pass the same long healing time with or without the implant, there makes no diffirence that the implant is not there still wounds healing time is equal to 'Chin implant healing time'. Implant is silicone small 5mm extended anatomical both incision made under the chin. Removed due to not liking. I am 25 y/o.
1. How big my implants should be? My doctor recommended me 5mm.I would like to have a bit longer face and distinguish chin.I wanna have dimple surgery also because i would like to have those smile lines. 2. Dimples. As i said before I would like to have those lines. Do you think going for longer dimples is a good idea?My doctor doesnt think so and i just want to hear different opinions
