Hello, 10 years ago I had a silicone, chin, implant put in. I never had any issues. I also would get Botox on my chin every three months because I have skin of the orange bumps on my chin. Recently, I started to have twitching or chin spasms. I thought it was because my Botox was wearing off but its been two weeks and my chin is still having spasms and now seems to be puckered. Do you think I may need a chin implant revision as its possible to be pushing on a nerve? What else could it be?
10 years ago when surgeon placed a chin implant (silicon) right away it seemed weak. Recently another surgeon removed old and he saw that I have extreme bone loss. He put a new implant in and profile still appear weak. First, is the bone loss was due to an implant? Will the bone loss continue and what are my options ? Any other side deseases I should be concerned about or body areas? Do I need a jaw reconstruction? I hope I can stay with this implant for good. Please share your opinion and what to expect.
Silicone implant was put in place 10 years ago. It still looks ok but not as prominent. I would love a little extra enhancement using filler. I have been told by a doctor that there is a big chance of infection and this is very risky. Is this the case? It has put me off.
I never liked it made my face long and it was too big for my face. I'm nervous I'm going to look deformed. Your thoughts and recommendations. Thanks so much!
I did undergo a chin implant surgery back in 2006. It did improve my apperence in comparison to pre surgery. Cosmetic procedure went very well. I was up and running in 10 days time with no regrets. However 10 years on I'm still fairly unhappy with my chin in general. I find it weak and constantly thinking of what can I do to make it better/stronger looking. Therefore, I would like to know if an installation of a second implant is a common practice. Or given my underbite jaw surgery is the way out.
Hi, 10 yrs ago at the age of 20 I decided to do something about my week chin and jawline. Unfortunately, the medpor implant i ended up with is too broad for my face, it doesn't fit my features and looks masculine. I had it trimmed (carved) 6 yrs ago by another surgeon who fixated the implant with 2 screws but the improvement really is insignificant. So, at this point I wonder if i have to accept things as they are or if removal is possible? Would i have to fill the cavity?
