Also dimpling on chin new too. Also, There is a prominence like a bump on right jaw just distal to that dimpling. Could it be the wing folded back? What is this dimpling and prominence from? He said the prior gortex chin implant was difficult to remove. I want to remove implant and just get submentoplasty (Lipo and muscle tightening). Im afraid of things looking worse or having new problems. First chin implant was gortex w/o wings placed 20 yrs ago. This one silicone with wings.
Im 6 days post op, I had a chin implant through the mouth (and a nose job). My bottom lip and chin are still numb, I cant smile properly, only half a smile which is crooked. My speech is effected and Im really worried. Im still swollen (but little bruising) and my chin looks square and boxy, I feel like a man. Will I get my smile back and when will the numbness go away? Ive lost half a stone so far as I cant eat properly. I stopped taking Codeine yesterday and pain is much less today which is good.
I got a chin augmentation in silicone through the mouth one week ago. Yesterday I got hit in the chin by my dog, he bumped into it with his head from below. Im so scared the implant has moved. I saw my doctor today but be could not see if it has moved because of the swelling. Is it possible the implant har shifted?
I had my surgery about 5 or 6 days ago. I had a septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and chin augmentation. My nostrils are over-exposed. Tomorrow is my post-op visit, and I am very nervous. I took several weeks off of work and don't go back until mid June. I think I may want the chin implant taken out before then. Will my chin look smaller over time? Will the tip of my nose drop?
I'm 1 week post op and I have been massaging the swelling around my implant. I'm wondering if there are any issues to follow by doing this? Will I move my implant by fiddling around with it this way? I had a silicone terino style 1 fixed in with stutches. The swelling is going down gradually with arnica gel and ice and so far I'm pleased with my results. I know it'll take about 3 months until all is clear but I'm sceptical now about it. Thank you.
I had chin implants 7 days ago through intraoral and most of the swelling is gone. My concern is, my lips looks weired and smaller than before. When I talk long, I feel muscle cramps on my chin and needs to stretch my neck for a bit. It also feels very stiff when talking. I cant smile properly as I look like a goat conpared before. Im worried the implant is too higbor is this normal?
I'm so upset as my wishes before this implant were to just improve my profile not my front. I want my old face back and have made this clear. However, I am very scared of the effects that could happen to my chin after he removes it. He used a large implant. What are the odds of having a witches chin or dimples afterwards? I'm scheduled to have it removed in two weeks which will put me at 3 weeks post op. My PS said there won't be any after effects but he also told me I'd love my new chin...
It's been a week sinse I had a chin implant (intra-orally). My swelling has gone down a lot, with the exception of a glf sized firm bumb on either side of my chin. I suspect those have accumulated some form of liquid. How normal is that, and how will it go away? Should I take anti inflammatory meds? One other thing is that 3 to 4 times during the day or as I am laying down in the evening, I get blood in my mouth. It is not a lot, but is that normal? You are offering us great comfort. THANK YOU
